My three reservations were canceled through no fault of my own. I struggled to find guaranteed accommodation for my trip to Hungary. Hosts provided reasons for the cancellations, such as technical issues causing their calendars to be mistakenly open or ongoing gas installation renovations. However, the most surprising part came later. After contacting support, I was informed that the hosts canceled due to my unverified profile. I provided screenshots as evidence during my chat with support, but my issue remained unresolved. I strongly suspect that the hosts received better offers outside Airbnb and concocted unusual explanations for the cancellations.
What I expect from support is a resolution to my problem, not just an apology. I understand that issues may arise, but I believe it is the responsibility of support to help find a solution rather than simply expressing regret.
update: I got a coupon code for the next booking, but the root problem still remains.
