After numerous emails & contacting via social media - no response.
Until I advised that I would contact their MD with my refund situation- or lack of!
What a shame & bad experience

Refund nightmare
Great quality clothes, however, absolute nightmare trying to get returns refunded.
I think I will have to resort to raising a chargeback request with my credit card company to try and get my money back.

Wish I had read reviews before ordering, AVOID!
Seems to be a common issue with this company but I have had such a headache trying to get 2 orders refunded. I placed 2 large orders with them for xmas presents, multiple sizes since it was for presents. Returned 2 parcels back back on 31/12. Received confirmation they were received on 2/1 which was surprisingly speedy over the new year period and advised I would receive my refund in 10 days. This time passed and I had no refund. This became complicated as I paid through Klarna and payments started showing as being overdue and I was hit with multiple late fees. Klarna have been very helpful and opened a case with 4th & reckless but unfortunately this company are now advising they can't process the refund because klarna has opened a case!! Seems any excuse not to process the refund and I'm expected to pay the full £220 for goods I don't even have and will no doubt be hit with more late fees from Klarna because they requested the case with them be closed which they have taken to mean has been resolved. Wish I had read reviews before ordering as issues with refunds is a recurring theme. Very disappointed and frustrated.

Return nightmare & great resolution!
I returned 3 items in early December and got an email stating that they had received my return and the refund would take 10 days. I hadn't heard anything nearly a month later and thought this was ridiculous! I chased their customer service and received a reply but since then was ignored.
I dmed them on Instagram and within minutes had my refund and a personal message from their team. My biggest piece of advice with this brand and others like it is to take to social media when you have an issue. It really is the most effective tool :) Big thanks to Katie who sorted this for me x

Refund in 10 days? Unlikely.
Absolutely frustrated with this company. I’ve been extremely patient awaiting my refund for x2 tracksuits that simply did not suit me. Email saying items received back on the 16th December and keep getting an automated response from an AI robot called Charlotte. Stating my case has been escalated then no response at all. It’s been well over the 10 days of the return process with no money refunded. Extremely reluctant to order from them again and it’s a shame as I’ve ordered previously and been happy with items. A loyal customer lost.

Poor customer service
I ordered in the Black Friday sales. The delivery was meant to arrive within 3 days but it took nearly a week to arrive. The items were not suitable so I sent them back the next day via Asda to you. I received an email 3 days later that they have received my items and would process a refund within 7-10 days. The 10 days have well passed and I have not yet received a refund. I have emailed customer services and they said they will send it on but still have not heard anything. Poor customer service and really puts me off ordering from them again.

Returns terrible
Used them once and had to return coat as was far too big. Now waiting on a refund which is taking ages. Received an email saying they’ve received my return and once its been inspected, I will receive a refund within 10 days. Why so long to wait for a refund! Next, River Island, John Lewis, M & S to name a few, have your refund in your bank within a few days. I won’t be ordering from them again solely based on the refund times!

I agree with others the sizing needs…
I agree with others the sizing needs looking at. I'm pretty standard in my size in most shops, but the dress was too large. I also agree that the returns process is slow. From requesting a return to funds in my account it was 13 days for 1 item. The shipping cost is deducted from your refund and I also had to pay the post office to print the returns label as it wasn't digital. I see you're just giving the "our returns policy is stated on our website" spiel to anyone who mentions it. You'll just put customers off doing this. I was going to order the size down but I won't be bothering with this much hassle.

First time ordering from the website
First time ordering from the website, very impressed with the quality however think the customer care department needs training on how to respond to customer emails, returned an item 4TH102722 via tracked 48, was delivered on 28th yet I still haven't had any updates on my refund despite contacting customer care 3 times, because of this I will not use the website again!

Got an email from Katie at Customer Care regarding my refund and has now been sorted, although I do think the refund process could be much quicker I probably will order again due to the clothing being good quality

Quality items at reasonable price
Just got items from my first order with the brand, really pleased/pleasantly surprised. I purchased some knitwear including trousers. The items are really good quality, they are thick and soft and fit really nice. Refreshing to find a brand that has reasonable prices but the items actually look like they do on the website, and are actually decent quality. Will be interested to see how they hold up when washed.

Further to my review below, I did have my problem resolved by Katie in customer service, who responded within the time frame given.
"Disappointing First Experience: Poor Quality and Nonexistent Customer Service"
I had high hopes for this brand with my first order, but unfortunately, they fell short both in terms of quality and customer service.
First off, there is absolutely no way to contact them except through emails and a web form, and they don’t even respond to those. My last resort was Facebook, and even that didn’t work.
As for the product, the outfit looked great, but the jumper arrived with a noticeable white stains on the rear – definitely not what I expected from a reputable brand. Worse, I had to pay £3.99 to return it, even though the issue was on their end for failing to quality check before dispatch.
Now I’m just waiting to see if I actually get my refund for the returned outfit! Overall, very disappointing experience.

I received an email on 7th October to…
I received an email on 7th October to say my returns parcel had been received and that my refund would be processed within 10 days (I tried on the item once, found the item far to large and returned via Asda's toyou service the same day). I've now had to contact customer service to ask what has happened to the refund. I received an automated response to say that a reply could take 3-5 working days. The returns process does not seem to be at all smooth and I don't think I will be ordering again, unfortunately.

Love them!
The items I wanted were sold out initially but I was eventually able to get them. I had contacted customer service and Katie advised that they would be coming back into stock. From ordering to delivery, it was so easy and I'm absolutely delighted with my purchases...can't wait to wear them. Was my first purchase from 4th+Reckless but definitely not my last!
