This is a fantastic agency to work for in Manchester! I finished my degree in September 2023 and had no clue what job I was going to do. After applying for a range of jobs and feeling disheartened having had no luck, Cover People actively reached out to me having found my details on a CV library and asked whether I would be interested in a TA/Cover Supervisor role with them. Signing up was quick and painless and I was given all the information I needed by the office.

In my four months working for Cover People I felt supported and valued by the team, especially Joe, the South Manchester consultant, who was always available and regularly checked in to see how I was getting on! He made sure I was contracted in a role that matched my experience and I was lucky enough to stay on long-term at the first school I was placed in! Through this I have since been able to gain a permanent post in the school and am thinking of going on to do a PGCE with the trust. Equally though, I have absolutely no doubt that Cover People would be a fantastic agency to work with in the long-term! I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get in to education!

I have worked with cover people for about 2 and a half years and worked with Joe and Mica as my primary consultants and they were great! I have worked with other agencies as well but the time and effort Mica and Joe puts in making sure u are ok its amazing compared with other agencies. I was v disappointed with one of my jobs with another agency and Mica was very nice and found me a placement almost straight away and made sure it was the right position for me and really did everything in her power to make sure i was happy and that i had everything i needed during my placement with Cover People . Came back from an amazing holiday and just sat there waiting from my other agency for any work. I recieve an email from Sophie, and the rest is history. Very easy to talk to, understanding and down to earth. Set eveything up very quickly and got me a job within 2 days!

I was working with Luke who at a very late recruitment stage of July managed to organize an interview at a school within an hour of me expressing interest. He also managed to negotiate a much higher salary for me than was advertised for the job. Due to changes in ministry regulations there was a roller coaster of events to get a work visa, during which Luke responded to my messages when I was stressed and panicking with both practical advice and emotional support. I had instant replies whenever I had a query and was put in touch with SLT and other teachers prior to my arrival. Further more it is evident that Luke fosters strong relationships with both employers and employees alike, as even after your arrival to the school, he actually flies out and arranges to meet you in person and see how you are getting on. He has an extensive knowledge on the school, the country and the management you will be working under, and so is able to give a very accurate and honest insight as to exactly what you are signing up for.

My experience with the Worldwide Teaching team has been truly outstanding. Their professionalism and insightful guidance exceeded my expectations, even when I thought I had everything figured out. They not only met my needs but introduced innovative solutions that enhanced my perspective. To start with, I thank Karla who I had been in touch with since 2017 when it was Coverpeople. I am sure there is a high chance she has been quite loaded since then. She had sent me very exciting opportunities which eventually couldn't be accepted by a few schools due to being a Non-native Speaker Teaching IBDP English A.
