Unreliable and awful communication

Placed an order on their website after receiving a catalog from them in the mail. Days later checked my order status to make sure the gift was sent on time and the order status was showing cancelled with zero communication on their part. I would have had no idea if I just trusted it would be on time and never checked status

I would rate this company less than a…poor customer service

I would rate this company less than a star if I could do it this company did not have two of the items not one but two items I could not order I then asked for a discount for one order so that I can receive this gift for a friend they would not give me a discount they would not work with me so this company I would not recommend for anyone to order from they are not very good in their customer service and I would not recommend anyone to buy from them

Scam don't do it respect yourself

Scam don't do it, I ordered something my wife really wanted. Next day I checked status said it was cancelled. No reason no email just cancelled. Called the number, they could hardly speak English. They told me I cancelled it. They are a huge scam huge scam. Hell I am born and raised in Wisconsin, this is not how we treat each other. I had to disappoint my wife by telling here it was cancelled due to their neglecte.

Long time customer who ordered food to…

Long time customer who ordered food to be delivered Dec 22 to an AirBnb we were going to be staying at. The food showed up four days early. I tried complaining to the company but they seem to not care. Out over $200.00 for literally nothing.

I ordered because they offered…


I ordered because they offered pre-approved credit per their catalog and I have mediocre credit so I took them up on that. I placed two orders one for me and another for my friends. I was so disappointed and felt ripped off. Their products are so small. Their cheese and meats are about 3 inches tall if that. Their chocolates weren't tasty in their 4 piece box. I was so embarrassed that I wrote to offer an apology to my friends that I didn't know. Also their prices are too expensive for what you get. Also their shipping charges are too high. Also they didn't text me to follow up that the items were shipped with tracking information. Needless to say I will not be a future customer. I wish I read the reviews here before ordering. If I could give them negative stars I would give this company that.

I have been a loyal

I have been a loyal, happy WI Cheeseman customer for years now. The quality and variety of the products they offer is excellent. This company is my go-to for conveniently drop-shipping holiday gift orders to my out of state family members, as well as to my own address. Everything I have ever ordered is fresh & delicious, and has arrived in a very timely manner. Their customer service staff rock; they are so professional, helpful & personable.

Poor customer service

My order was sent to a different town, a different address, and a different person. They did get the state correct. When I tried to call, I could not get through to a live person. After multiple times, I finally got a real person to talk to. After reviewing my order for an hour, it was finally determined the mistake was on their end. I was asked to send a copy of my check so it could determine the next step. After a missed phone call, I called the number where the call originated. I was passed to another person who consulted two mire people before coming back to ask what I would like to do. I was given 2 choices, neither one acceptable. I asked for a refund AND a phone number where I could reach a live person. Hopefully I will get my refund. I was
not given a phone number. The refund may take as long as 30 days.
I don't recommend this company to anyone.

Wish I read reviews before purchase

Definitely wish I read these reviews prior to purchase.

I purchased a box of Petit Fours as a holiday gift for a colleague. After 5 days of not hearing from the colleague or this shit company, I went to my email to check order status and had to go to their website. Where I learned the order was cancelled.

This customer service will not respond to my outreach via email and keeps sending an auto response.

I will be contacting the state Attorney General and filing a complaint.

Buyer beware

Order not delivered on time. It was ordered on December 12 and not delivered as of December 31. Wisconsin Cheeseman said it was delivered late but actually was not delivered or at least not to the right place. The worst customer service ever. It is a phone loop and no one ever answers. The product is decent if it is actually received.

Needs negative star don’t waste your time ordering,they do not mark items as out of stock on website and then charge huge shipping for items you could care less about getting and recieved spoiled cheese never again will not order

Ordered as a Christmas gift on…

Ordered as a Christmas gift on 12-13-24. The confirmation email said I would be notified by email of any updates. Was supposed to be delivered on 12-23-24. Spoke to recipient 12-26-24 to find out it didn’t arrive. Checked my status and it showed cancelled. Called the company and was told my card didn’t go through, even though I used it for 4 other purchases after this one and still had 2k in available credit. My issue is I received no notice that they had cancelled. No email updates as promised and a Christmas gift for a family member was not received. Terrible customer service!!!
Will never use this company again

Stands behind their product and their word

This is the second or third time I have ordered from this company and have always been well pleased, not only with their product but with their service. There was a slight glitch in my last order, so I called and spoke to a customer representative and the issue was solved Immediately! Not only was it so quickly and professionally, but my item was quickly shipped to me and I received it two days after speaking to the company. They are a fantastic company and truly stand behind their products and their word.

A truly underhanded company

Unfortunately they don’t have a negative stars button. This company is underhanded. They $19 shipping on a $40 package. Here is the kicker they use FedEx smart post. Which is the cheapest shipping service possible. My package was guaranteed to arrive before Christmas and the actual date was 12/19. Nope! Due to their cheap unreliable service I may never see the items that I purchased and they definitely won’t be here by today when needed. Never again! This company does not stand behind their service. Even though it was a guaranteed delivery there is no teeth in the guarantee! What a joke! Never trust this company they are underhanded and shipping is horrendous!

Find another place to order from

Placed an order on the 13th, 2-7 day ground, 114 miles away, here we are 8 days later, and all you see in tracking is on way, could have used UBER to get it on time. oh and 3 days with no updated tracking for a food product, way to go QC. will be returning if and when it arrives since it will be too late to gift and id spend more re-shipping as a gift than to send it back, good job Cheeseman.

Very Delicious Order process was easy

Order process was easy. Great selection and sizes offered. Arrived timely and well packaged. Order placed on the 12/12 and arrived 12/20. Peanut brittle, fruitful delight and fruit & nuts bread with creams. Each very tasty and you’ll be delighted when it arrives. Only issue is the very high S&H which made me reduce some items for purchasing.

If I could rate -10 I would.

If I could rate -10, I would. Apparently it’s fine to order a gift for one family member, but if you order for three people, it is regarded as “suspicious activity“ and two of your orders are cancelled. Then, they notify you of the cancellation by sending you a letter via USPS! Oh, but you can send a cashier’s check and they will gladly send your other two orders. Jack-holes!

Very disappointed in the customer…

Very disappointed in the customer service of this company.
Placed an order and was never notified that it did not go through. Never received a phone call or an email (despite several marketing messages in that time) about the order, but received a PAPER letter that it had been cancelled. Tried to call - they had canceled the order. Tried to reorder the items, but then was told I would need to pay extra for expedited shipping now. Was bounced around multiple times to service assistants and then got to a supervisor. When she tried to place my order again, of course several items were no longer in stock! Why didn't the earlier customer service reps tell me that?!
The supervisor also said someone put in a record that they tried to call, which I do not believe because I never received a missed call and especially not a voicemail message.
Incredibly poor service and now I'm out several gifts for my inlaws!
Do not order from this company if you expect good service!
