Deceptive and unfair practices. Red Flag

First red flag that I missed was that they require your credit card information before sending a technician to your location. Second, was that they didn't have the window I needed at first, although the computer qoute said they did. Finally, I was charged $49.99 after the technician came and told me that the window wouldn't fit properly because of the damage my car suatained. He said not to worry and that they would refund my money (they charge you the $400 upfront). I called and pleaded my case with the company about the $49.99 and they said it was in their cancellation policy sent in their email. I told them that I didn't cancel, rather I was advised not to place the window. I told them I felt that their policy is deceptive by taking a person's credit card information prior to delivering services. Wish I had not used this company.

March 12

March 12, 2026, first of all, this is my first time being a victim of a crime, so my emotions are extremely high and vulnerable, and windshield hub played on those emotions, knowing I was in an emergency situation and needed immediate assistance.

This is my horrible experience with them! I made an appointment yesterday in reference to a window replacement for my vehicle, I received a call from Juan and he took all my information down and confirm that someone would be at my home between 9:00 a.m. and noon today. As of 1:30 this afternoon, I still have not heard from anyone there, so I had to called, only to find out that they did not have the glass replacement, nor did it fail to contact me in reference to them not having the glass that they knew they didn't have yesterday.

This is the first example of the breakdown of communication, yesterday, I received multiple text messages asking for further information about the vehicle. I sent the information they needed and multiple pictures. The person from dispatch was receiving the pictures, became irate because she could not review the pictures that she accused me of not sending. Once the pictures were found, there was no apology at all for them not receiving all of their text messages that I had sent. That was the first red flag, I should have paid attention. Second red flag was a NO-SHOW this morning between 9:00 and 12:00 noon. Third red flag when I called they act like they didn't know what was going on until Christian said that they did not have the glass that was needed for my vehicle.

If you are going to work with this company, I strongly suggest you pay very close attention to all the CONCERNING reviews and do your homework. They're breakdown in communication is extremely horrible!!! It is discouraging, disappointing, and disrespectful when you have a consumer waiting for a particular service all day, and they negated to inform me within a reasonable amount of time this morning so that I can use other options. The weather was bad, it rained all night long, which potentially has furthered damaged the interior of my vehicle. Now, I am going into "Day 2" without a rear windshield!!!

Once again, WINDSHIELD HUB of Atlanta, I would not use!!! BAAADDD customer service practices!

Worse business I have ever encountered

They are not any cheaper than Safelite. They use third party companies to install and replace your glass. You never know who you are going to get but rest assured they are not the best. And they will not stand behind any guarantee.
The call center is located in INDIA. When I called to cancel I was threatened. Then I was charged $78… to cancel. When they had never even contacted me to schedule.
This is not a reputable company at all.

Extremely Poor Service and Unprofessional Communication

I had a terrible experience with WindshieldHub that completely wasted my entire day. Despite scheduling a 4-hour service window from 9am-1pm, the technician didn't arrive until 3pm - a full 2 hours late.

The communication was absolutely unprofessional throughout the day. When I called to check on the status, I was told the technician would arrive "in an hour." That hour came and went, and he finally showed up another 1.5 hours after that promise. Every time I called for an update, the only response I received was "I'm so sorry" with no real explanation or accountability.

To make matters worse, when I initially called to ask if I needed to be home, they told me YES because the technician would need the car keys. When I pushed back and asked why they would need the keys, they insisted it was "their rule" and that they needed them "to ensure it's installed properly." When the technician finally arrived, he said he just needed the car unlocked! This crucial piece of misinformation meant I wasted my entire day waiting at home when I could have simply left the car unlocked and gone about my day.

The only positive was that once the technician finally arrived, he had the windshield swapped out in about 30 minutes. Other than that, look elsewhere for windshield service or expect your day to be ruined!

What should have been a simple windshield service turned into an all-day ordeal due to their poor scheduling, lack of communication, and outright misinformation. Save yourself the frustration and find a more reliable service provider.
