They copy reviews from other sites

This company copies reviews from other websites, Trustpilot, Google etc.

You then start getting marketing from freelancers and Willro to goad you into fixing it or managing the reviews.

Totally dishonest business model.

Fake Review Manipulation and Misleading Practices

They copied a real review from our Trustpilot and changed it from a 5-star review to a fake 1-star review on their own site. They even tried to make it look real by sending a fake email to our no-reply address.

This is clearly dishonest and just done to get attention. A company that does this can’t be trusted, and it makes it very likely they’ve scammed other people too. A site like this shouldn’t be allowed to keep running.

Fake reviews scraped from other sites…

Fake reviews scraped from other sites to try goade companies to sign up. Dirty underhand tactics. The reviews are also scraped from Trustpilot who owns the rights to the reviews they have scraped.

Stolen Reviews from Trustpilot

Received an email with a stolen review, where the same customer had already followed up with a second 5 star review after we resolved her issue,

Reached out to the company as this violates their own review guidelines (requiring authentic reviews), but received no response.

Underhanded business tactics.

Underhanded repugnant business practices

I've had the same experience as other reviewers. I received an email about someone reviewing my business on Willro, but in fact they simply stole an existing TrustPilot. The stolen review is 21 months old and is my lowest rating. This is clearly a bully tactic to try and get business owners to claim their profile on Willro and legitimize their business. Shame on you.

Same as the other reviews

Same as the other reviews. Copied our most negative review from a year ago and posted it on their site trying to get us to claim the profile to remove it. Nope.

Stealing from Trustpilot

Yep, Willro is stealing content from Trustpilot and posting it as their own. They grabbed my company's most negative review from Trustpilot, posted it on their website, then notified us. They seem to be baiting us to "claim this business" to have it removed. Nasty behavior from Willro.

Stealing old reviews from other sites

Willro is reusing historic reviews from Trustpilot and trying to pass them off as new. They appear to select an extremely negative or extremely positive review to ellicit a response from the business owner. A quick google search reveals the original source is years old. Not a trusted source of information!
