Almost a Month, No Car — $1,750 Paid
Paid $1,750 to WeShipCarsUSA to ship my car cross-country and waited almost a month without it ever being picked up. I was given multiple dispatches that kept falling through.
I repeatedly explained that I didn't have another car and couldn't get to San Jose, only to be told, “Go to San Jose, it’s pretty!” Extremely dismissive.
I eventually canceled and uShip confirmed I would receive a full refund with no cancellation fee. Would not recommend.

We understand how frustrating it is when a vehicle shipment takes longer than expected, especially when you rely on that vehicle for your day-to-day transportation. We’re sorry that the overall experience did not meet the standard we strive to provide.
Your shipment had a particularly challenging pickup and delivery combination, with the vehicle going to Seaside, CA, a location with limited trucker traffic and therefore fewer available transport options. We made multiple attempts to secure transportation and, on several occasions, had truckers lined up who ultimately could not complete the shipment.
In an effort to avoid further delays, we suggested South San Jose as an alternative delivery location, where trucker availability was significantly better. We also agreed to absorb an additional $150 from our own pocket so that you would not have to pay more for the limited availability on this particular route and timeframe.
We understand that traveling to South San Jose was not convenient for you, and we respect your decision not to use that option. At the same time, choosing a different auto transport company would not necessarily have eliminated the challenge, as the limited truck availability affected the route and destination itself rather than being unique to WeShipCars.
We would also like to clarify one part of the review. After reviewing the relevant call, our dispatch agent did not tell you, “Go to San Jose, it’s pretty!” in a dismissive manner. The agent did mention that he had personally been to Seaside and commented that it is a beautiful place. We understand that, given the circumstances, the comment may have been received differently than it was intended, and we regret any frustration it may have caused.
Auto transportation involves many moving parts, including trucker availability, routes, timing, destination accessibility, and constantly changing market conditions. While we cannot control every one of these factors, our team continues to work through the available options and, in this case, even absorbed additional costs in an effort to find a workable solution without increasing your price.
We genuinely value our customers and always aim to provide a positive experience. We appreciate your feedback and will continue looking for ways to improve our communication and handling of challenging shipments.

Terrible service and broken promises—avoid this company!
I am incredibly disappointed with this company's service. At the beginning, they were very nice just to get my business, but the moment they received payment, they completely stopped taking responsibility.
Don't trust them. They explicitly promised door-to-door shipping from my origin point right to my driveway. Instead, they dropped my car off on the side of a highway nearly 5 miles away from my address. They completely abandoned me with a local transfer company and provided zero support. To make matters worse, the local company demanded cash upfront before they would release my car, which felt incredibly sketchy and unprofessional.
I had an awful experience with them. Please save yourself the trouble and do not use this company.

After reviewing your shipment, we would like to provide some important context. The delivery address provided was not safely accessible for a large auto transport semi-truck. In situations like this, truckers are required to make adjustments and deliver the vehicle to the closest safe and legally accessible location where the truck can stop and unload. In your case, the driver selected a nearby safe drop-off point approximately 5 miles from the delivery address to complete the delivery without risking damage or violating road or safety restrictions. This is a standard and necessary procedure in the auto transport industry when residential access is not feasible for large trucks.
We also want to highlight that we did not receive any calls or requests for assistance prior to or during the delivery process. Had we been contacted in real time, we would have done our best to help coordinate and support the situation as it was unfolding. Additionally, we did receive a call after the delivery had already been completed, at which point the process was already finalized and there was unfortunately no further action we could take, as we were informed post factum.
Regarding payment, your shipment was booked under a Cash on Delivery arrangement. In these cases, it is standard procedure for payment to be completed directly to the trucker upon delivery before the vehicle is released from the trailer. This protects both the trucker and ensures a smooth handover process.
We understand that delivery changes can be frustrating, and we are truly sorry for any inconvenience caused. Your feedback is appreciated, and we will continue working to improve communication and clarity around delivery expectations.

WeShipCars picked up my car on the…
WeShipCars picked up my car on the desired date as requested, on a weekend which some other car shipping companies wouldn’t do. However at drop-off they didn’t deliver my car to the drop-off location I requested since it was the middle of a city. Luckily my friend was able to drive me 15 minutes away to the lot where they were asking me to meet them. My car was still shipped in good condition at a reasonable price, so I’m happy with the service I received. But I could see WeShipCars changing the drop-off point on the day of delivery being a major inconvenience for some people.
