Disappointing Support – Charged Again for Their Own Installation Issue

StileBoard purchased an Odoo module from them along with paid installation services, expecting a fully functional solution. Initially, everything seemed fine, but shortly after, the module stopped working properly.

When we reached out to their support team to fix the issue, instead of taking responsibility for a product they installed themselves, they demanded an additional $125 for paid support just to resolve the problem.

This is highly unprofessional and unacceptable. If a module installed by their own team stops working, fixing it should be part of their responsibility—not an opportunity to charge extra.

We expected better accountability and customer support from a company like Webkul, but unfortunately, the experience has been frustrating and disappointing.

We would not recommend their services based on this experience.

Possibly the worst business and…

Possibly the worst business and personal experience I've ever had. I highly value work, so I'm aware of the damage negative reviews can do to a company. But what this company has done to me is something I can't let slide any longer. For months I've asked them for solutions to the add-ons they created or developed for me, and not only have they failed to provide them, but they want me to pay more for something that has never worked and don't even offer instructions on how to fix their botched jobs myself. I've had to hire other developers to fix it, and their responses have been nothing more than mediocre work; some have even dared to tell me I've been scammed. I placed all my trust in them, and they were my main developers until I started paying attention to their work, which was nothing but shoddy, incompatible, with logic I hadn't requested. Jobs that were supposed to be completed in days dragged on for months, and even after paying them, many remain unfinished. I absolutely do not recommend them. They are unprofessional, unethical, and lack principles and values. A truly awful experience.

Do not pay advances. Repeated excuses, missed deadline, unfinished delivery.

My experience with Webkul has been unacceptable, and my warning to others is very clear: do not pay any advance payments.

We paid in full on the basis of supposed “milestones.” After that, the delivery did not materialise. Instead, it became a pattern of delay after delay, with excuse after excuse from their side as to why the work was not completed. Each time there was a new reason. Meanwhile the product remained unfinished.

They were fully aware we were tied to a deadline. They still did not meet it. If you are choosing a vendor because timing matters, this is the last outcome you can afford.

This did not feel like a normal project that simply ran late. It raised serious concerns about honesty and good faith, because payment was taken while completion was repeatedly promised and repeatedly not delivered.

Be cautious with the review responses as well. The replies look standard and formulaic, rather than addressing the substance. Based on my experience, they know exactly what they are doing and they are comfortable pushing customers past the point where it becomes difficult to recover money.

If you are considering Webkul: protect yourself. Do not fund them upfront. Only pay when you have the finished, working product in hand.

We are pursuing local filings in India, including a cheating complaint under Section 318(4) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (successor to the old Section 420 IPC).
