Shocking! I purchased successfully for years from videdressing and my most recent purchase was about €390. I returned both items within the required timeframe but I was still charged for them. This, despite sending them proof from the post office, that I returned these two items in a timely manner
I have been attempting to reach videdressing and I’m not receiving a response. This is extremely upsetting and of course, now it is bordering on fraud. I understand they are shutting down in July and I am wondering if they are simply just keeping the money charge for items, despite the fact that the items are returned.

The videdressing seems to be a dubious online shop!!! I have not received my order yet, but my money has been withdrawn immediately. there is no customer service available I could write or talk to. impertinent!!!!
What a farce…
I’ve bought from Videdressing on a few occasions and never had any problems until now. I bought a pair of earrings from a fairly new seller who had never shipped internationally before. First she mistakenly marked the earrings as dispatched when they hadn’t been. Then she contacted me asking if I knew how the shipping worked on Videdressing. A couple of days later I get another message saying she has to get customs paperwork from the post office and will I wait awhile. Then I get another message from her saying she is getting no help from Videdressing and is having to pay postage out of her own pocket so she has no choice but to cancel the sale. Fair enough but I haven’t had my €61 refunded, she is not answering my messages asking for my money back and there is no option to open a case.
In the meantime I’m getting emails from Videdressing telling me the parcel was shipped x number of days ago and asking me to confirm receipt of the earrings. Contacting them is impossible as ALL of their important information is in French and there’s no way to translate it. I want my money returned and when I have it I’ll never buy from this site again.

Goods not received. No service.
Twice I have not received the goods. I got notifications that the goods were delivered and yet nothing in my mailbox. I checked with the neighbors too. Videdressing has done nothing. Frankly, the last purchase was for 40euros. Do you really think I'm trying to con them. They however definitely are making fun of the buyers.

Authentication team declares authentic as fake
Videdressing is unable to confirm the authenticity of items and deletes them as fake. now my account got suspended for selling fakes. the items were only inspected via photo uploads, some even with receipts.
Items sold on FP and other platforms as authentic.
update: The answer given by Videdressing has nothing to do with my experience. obviously its against the law to distribute fakes - the issue here is that the authentication team DID not photo approve items that were authentic.

Horrific avoid- buyer bought an item…
Horrific avoid- buyer bought an item from me for €2100. I received a request for it be returned the day after tracking confirmed they had received it. As luck would have it I then came across my bag up for sale under a username clearly linked to the buyer on Vestiaire Collective for €1700 euros more than purchased for. I sent a request asking Vide Dressing with supporting evidence to action this and their customer service is just SHOCKING- they didn’t nothing and said the return is still within their T&Cs! How is that even possible! No idea what this persons intentions were but screams scammer and I have no bag and no money 🤯

Needs zero stars. Bought a bag and dress from two sellers. The seller clearly wasn't happy that I bought it for a cheap price (so why put that price in the first place?) So she/he refused to answer any of my messages, and after four days, the purchase was automatically cancelled. After purchasing the bag, the seller still hadn't sent the item after 10 days. I kept contacting him to ask why and he finally said that he needed more money for shipping because he only used one company to ship his items (which is strange because I already paid shipping costs and he is the one who advertised the various postage companies that he could use to send purchased items).
I asked for a refund (from him and videdressing) and I am yet to recieve it. Thankfully, I paid through PayPal so if they refuse, I will just go through PayPal to get a refund. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere

WORST BUYING EXPERIENCE AS 25 YEAR PROFESSIONAL BUYER
This has been the worst buying experience in my 25 years as a professional vintage fashion buyer. I have been trying to get my refund for OVER 6 weeks. Lie #1- I was sold an item that was attributed to the wrong designer. Which was easily proven considering the info was on the label. Lie #2 I was sold another piece that was listed as NEVER WORN. I received that dress in a green garbage bag with rips all over it. There is ZERO quality control at Vide. And know sellers will not be held accountable. It will all be on YOU. The person paying the money! Vide has allowed the sellers (2) to keep my money and the items. When asking for my refund they tell me to refer to their refund policy. When asked to show EXACTLY where their policy states that the buyer can KEEP the MONEY and ITEM there is NO reply. Again, this question has been sent multiple times. Everything was returned on time using superior return packaging and courier service. Vide has left my refund up to two sellers that LIED in their listings. They lied before the sale! It's up to these people to release my money. This is outrageous. I have been expected to sit and wait while two people that totally misrepresented and lied about their listings have control over my money AND have the items. One is so petty she now wants dry cleaning. Her piece was sent to us stuffed in a homemade plastic mailer on a misshaped wire hanger. She waited days to tell us she refuses to refund us w/out drycleaning and then more days to tell us she refuses to use Paypal and we need to send an international wire for 15 measly pounds. So more adults have stopped their jobs to send an international wire for dry cleaning an item that was taken out of a homemade mailer and put in a proper mailer and sent back immediately. It was never even tried on. Total waste of time, money, and bad for the environment. I have sent pictures, documentation, shipping labels, tracking numbers, and my account of the transactions multiple times. And no refunds. At this point, I am beyond frustrated. I have waited to call AMEX because I was hoping Vide would do the right thing but they have not. I will now contact American Express and Paypal to get my money back and complain. I will contact the US Better Business Bureau to find out what can be done in regards to their internet presence in the US and how complaints can be made in France. I have spent over $20,000 on Vide and know this is how they treat their clients. It's unheard of. This would never happen on eBay, Vestiaire, Poshmark, or other major sites I buy from. The disrespect for buyers is unequaled. How public does Vide need angry clients to go for them to do the right thing? As a business owner, it's an unthinkable way to treat clients. Vide not only has not given me my money back and kept the items but they have dragged this out to a point where I am angry and frustrated enough to publicly tell my story. I can see others feel the same based on the HUNDREDS of terrible reviews. Vide clients are even threatening to retain legal to get their refunds? Scroll through the reviews as I have. It's actually shocking. This is the first time in 25 years I have written a review like this. I will keep updating if this platform allows it. I guess the good news is having a strong community and social platform gives us a voice to tell our stories.

VIDE DRESSING STOLE MONEY FROM MY WALLET
I couldnt believe it and still it is true : 30€ have been removed from my wallet by vide dressing to pay for "Management fees" ??? I did not use the website for years and I had 70€ which I had never been able to get back to my bank account. Wrote mails and contacted them to solve the issue but no answer and now they are using my money as if it was their own cash !! THATS A SCAM !!!

Terrible company. Never buy anything from there. Seller cancelled my order, no communication whatsoever. Contacted customer services, only to be told to contact the seller, who has not responded to me AT ALL and just left me in the dark. They've done nothing to help. The seller probably cancelled my order and sold it off at a higher price even though I paid first. Ridiculous.

They permit sellers misbehave
I bought a pair of shoes and once the sale was completed and the seller had confirmed the shoes were available, another potential buyer also interested started writing to the seller offering a higher price. So the seller( who was also a bit dishonest) intentionally forced the cancellation of my purchase by not sending the shoes in 72 hours so that the system automatically cancels it and reimburses.
This is a bad behaviour from the seller, true. But I informed with all details Videdressing customer service and their only response has been that they understand my frustration but it is the right of the seller to proceed like this.!
I find it completely unacceptable, they are promoting dishonest behaviours.

Item most likely not authentic. Amazing customer support!
I recently made my first order on videdressing, and upon further inspection of the pictures, I concluded that the item was most likely fake. I don't even want to put the blame on videdressing here, as the labels and details were immaculate, but the strap gave it away. What I did want to say however was how incredible their customer service is. They got back to me 24h after I emailed them wanting to cancel the order and assured me they'll contact the seller (also offering to cancel the order in 48h if the seller wasn't responsive). And the next day I got a refund notification. I got so scared when I noticed the dodgy strap on the bag, but they were super quick and really kind! (Also, the woman I spoke to, spoke english flawlessly.)

Ripoff! please AVOID
I urge everyone who reads this to be aware of Vide Dressing! I have been using similar platforms for years, and recently had my first sale on Vide dressing, the buyer put an incorrect address, my item is being returned and I had to pay for the shipping charges!!! Because unlike other platforms, with vide dressing you have to pay for your shipping labels yourself, they reimburse you only 7.9 euros if you are shipping from outside France to france and no international shipping would ever cost so little.They mention vaguely different shipping prices on their website which apparently only apply to customers shipping from France. worth mentioning also their very poor customer support, and unfriendly user interface. after reading the below reviews it seems that customers or their bad experiences are not a priority, they just offer the a standard reply and the issues keep on repeating them selves with no change. I am definitely deleting my account, and no longer supporting this business.order number is: 3945161

I made an offer of 550€ to the seller of a Louis Vuitton backpack, once de seller accepted my offer and made the price modification for me, immediately the bag was said to be sold! Kind of weird! Not serious at all!! Avoid videdressing!!!
