I am writing to raise a serious complaint against this company. I removed all 6 machines and stopped using all of their services more than 6 months ago. Since then, I have been repeatedly requesting a refund of my money, but the company has failed to return my payment.
I have substantial evidence, including call records showing that I have remained on their waiting line for nearly 2 hours on multiple occasions. Whenever I finally connect with their representatives, I receive the same excuse: that they have not received payments from their customers. This identical response has been given to me continuously for the past 6 months without any resolution.
In addition, I have sent multiple emails regarding my refund request, but none of them have received any response. The company has completely ignored my emails and failed to provide any clear timeline for processing my refund.
Holding a customer's money for over 6 months after all services have been discontinued and all 6 machines have been removed is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the company's business practices. The lack of communication, repeated delays, and failure to honor refund commitments demonstrate a disregard for customer rights.
I respectfully request the concerned authorities to investigate this company and take strict action against them. I also request the immediate release of my pending refund and urge authorities to ensure that other customers do not face similar issues in the future.
If my refund is not processed immediately, I will be forced to pursue legal action and file complaints with all relevant consumer protection authorities.
I strongly advise English-speaking customers in Denmark to stay away from this company.
I was signed up for two subscription services without giving clear consent. During the phone call, the representative spoke very fast and in unclear Danish. I specifically asked them to send the offer by email so I could review it before making any decision. Instead, they signed me up immediately and later told me I had only 14 days to cancel.
The most frustrating part was that they never clearly asked whether I wanted these services in the first place. It felt like they were relying on confusion and pressure rather than transparency.
Trying to reach customer service was a nightmare. The phone waiting times were extremely long, emails went unanswered, and getting help was almost impossible. After finally cancelling and ending my relationship with the company, they continued sending me forms that I had to complete in order to receive my money back. They sent the same form multiple times and still failed to respond to my emails.
This has been one of the most frustrating customer experiences I have had in Denmark. If you value clear communication, honest sales practices, and accessible customer service, I recommend looking elsewhere.
They charge way too much and customer service is unavailable. Please make yourself a service a move away

The only reason it's two stars and not one is because of the help I received over Instagram – although I doubt very much anything she did helped. I suspect that was ignored by the company as much as my many, many emails were.
Never received any recognition that my final email, including the legal action threat, was received. The money just magically appeared in my account. If that doesn't scream of guilt, I don't know what does. It's pathetic that a company operates like this.
If anyone is waiting for their money, get Ankenævnet på Energiområdet involved. That seems to do the trick.

We were clients with Velkommen for around 5 years, and we switched to a different provider in December 2025, mainly because of Velkommen's lack of transparency with regards to payments taken from my account (they were always taking more than needed and more often). We have around 14.000 kr still at Velkommen, confirmed by the slutafregning which we received in January 2026. They still havne't paid this out even though they have all the details they need.
I tried reaching out to customer service via email and got no reply, I reached out via online chat and got told to call their economy department as they're the ones handling payments. I called and waited forever in the queue, to be told that I needed to confirm that I want to money paid. This was written nowhere on the slutafregning or in the velkommen dashboard in my account. I confirmed and they said the money will be paid in March. They weren't. I called again in MArch, waited, then got told the money is scheduled to be paid in April. It's now 10 April and the money still hasn't been paid.

I was a customer of Velkamen for electricity for about two years. During this time, I repeatedly asked them to provide a clear and transparent bill, but they never did.
After two years, I decided to terminate my contract. According to their own calculation, they owe me a refund of more than 5,000 DKK. I completed the cashback form and also contacted their support team. They confirmed that everything was approved and that I would receive my money.
However, it has now been more than two months, and I still have not received the refund. Each time I contact them, I only get excuses and no clear timeline.
This has been a very frustrating experience. I would not recommend this company based on my experience, especially when it comes to billing transparency and handling refunds.

Previous customer - phone seller tried to win me back by being very dishonest.
He said things on the phone about the contract and when I received it on email ready to just click "accept" it didn't align with what he told me.

Have been overcharging extra (full year of consumption) in the period of 3 years. When changing providers failed to pay out the agreed overcharged amount for 3 months now. Customer support assures it will be paid out each month - reaching them on a phone takes horrible amount of time.

I had an electricity contract with another provider, and someone from this company called me and insisted that if you chose us as the provider for this and that reason, your electricity cost will be 20 percent less than what you're paying now! I did that, and not only did my electricity cost not decrease, but it also increased by almost 25% !!!!! They also charge you in advance (on account), and it's always higher than your consumption, and no matter how many times I called or asked them to return the money, they don't return it!
DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY !!! JUST FIND ANY OTHER SUPPLIER !!

after they say no you cant. and after 2days i cancel my wifi i still pay 5month for wifi i cancel it. and every time they send me too much bills i just had one sim card but they say i have to pay for 2sim (ex.134.+134)card. so now i changed to another company they dont let me to move to another company its benn 7monnth i cant use my number. they are thief DONT GET ANYTHING from this company

Update 29th April: thanks to the lady who suggested to involve Ankenævnet på Energiområdet when requesting money back from Velkommen! Worked right away! Money was back in my account in less than 24h. Of course no explanation by Velkommen given. At this point it took 9 months for Velkommen to return my money, and probably it would be more if I haven’t threatened with Ankenævnet på Energiområdet! Everybody who experience the same issue, involve Ankenævnet på Energiområdet! The only thing that worked against this scam company!

I used to be an electricity client of Velkommen for several years. I terminated my contract with Velkommen in August 2025. It is now end of
February 2026 and I still haven’t received my overpaid balance from Velkommen (>10 000ddk). I have already done all the described steps to claim my overpaid saldo (registered my tilbagebetalingskonto and informed udbetalinger on their email address). I have tried to call them several times and every time I get different and inconsistent replies of why balance hasn’t reached my bank account. This is my first experience that electricity company fails to return overpaid saldo to their client. This is very unprofessional.
Before leaving Velkommen, I have many times told them to reduce my saldo amount as their calculated expected consumption is not close to my actual consumption.
Additionally, they keep calling me and asking the reason why I have left Velkommen and every time I give them the same reply: 1) velkommen kept taking higher saldo even though my el-consumption was not close to the one they have calculated; 2) velkommen hasn’t returned overpaid saldo.
Also, they have done 3 different final statements and it is hard to understand why amount changes in each final statement.
Considering all above, it is very hard to trust this company and their ways of working are questionable.
