Very disappointing experience with The…

Very disappointing experience with The Sleep Company. The in-store service was good initially, but everything after that has been extremely frustrating. The delivery was delayed by over a week, and even after that, the installation was not done on time. There was no clear communication—just a new excuse every day with no accountability. This kind of service completely ruins the overall experience. Definitely not what you expect after investing in a brand like this.

DONT TRAP INTO THIS COMPANY THINKING…

DONT TRAP INTO THIS COMPANY THINKING YOU HAVE 100 DAYS OF TRIAL AKD CAN RETUEN THE MATTRESS IF YOU DONT LIKE...THEY NEVER PROCESS THE RETURN REQUEST, IT IS JUST A MARKWTING GIMMICK.

I had taken 3 Mattresses, 2 Ortho Pro and 1 Smart otho. Before the sale they promise for 100 days trial return without a reason ask. But when you place return request they ask reasons and reject the return request multiple times stating you are not sleeping with right poster. The sleep company has rejected thrice my return request.

I GOT TRAPPED ON THEIR smart grid technology for back pain relief. Me and my wife were not having any back pain, we started feeling the back pain after a week itself. It's been more ethan a 5 weeks, still we are facing back pain and company is not ready to replace the mattress. support team is pathetic and keep asking you to change the poster instead of processing the return request.

I AM PLANNING TO TAKE THIS BAD EXPERIENCE TO ALL MY FREINDS AND RELATIVES VIA SOCIAL MEDIA AND FILE CONSUMER COMPLAINT

Highly Disappointed & Frustrated

Highly Disappointed & Frustrated
The Sleep Company has given me one of the worst customer experiences ever. I ordered their adjustable table, and it has not worked from the very first day. Forget premium — the product quality is so bad that it feels like a completely defective unit dumped on the customer.

Their installation process is a joke. The installation guy just assembled the table like he wanted to finish the job quickly and run away. He didn’t test a single function, didn’t check if the table moved, didn’t check the switches — absolutely zero professionalism.

From day one:

The product arrived with a broken power adapter plug. Took them one entire week just to replace that.

Even after replacement, the table never worked at all.

The display, switches, and movement system are completely dead.

Clearly, they are using cheap and low-grade electronic components that fail instantly.

To make things worse, their customer care is completely useless. It’s been over three weeks of following up, and all I’ve received are meaningless excuses, delays, and no actual solution. They don’t take responsibility, they don’t provide timelines, and they absolutely don’t care once the payment is made.

This brand pretends to be premium, but the reality is poor quality products and even worse service. I strongly regret buying from them and would warn others to avoid wasting their money like I did.

The Sleep Company Nightmare: Great Marketing, Broken Reality. A ₹2.75 Lakh Disaster with No Return, No Help, No Accountability. AI Mattress Hype: India’s ‘Smart Mattress’ Lie

The Sleep Company: Great Marketing, Broken Reality. A ₹2.75 Lakh Disaster with No Return, No Help, No Accountability.

This review is not about one failed product or one ignored return — it is about the cracks beneath a brand that has spent more on PR than on real customer care. The Sleep Company talks about “redefining rest with AI and purpose,” features Bollywood icons like Anil Kapoor, flaunts sleek taglines like “India’s First Smart Mattress,” and parades its co-founders as TED-worthy innovators.

But in reality? When it comes to solving a genuine issue — a broken product, a pending return, or a missing refund — the brand collapses into silence. No ownership. No integrity. Just a spiral of call centre spin and templated apologies. It’s a brand built for awards and ad films — not for families who invest their hard-earned savings expecting real-world comfort.

When you spend ₹2.75 Lakhs on something called a “Smart AI Mattress” — you expect premium support, flawless quality, and at least basic accountability. What we received instead was a masterclass in post-purchase abandonment, miscommunication, and corporate insensitivity.

This is not just about a return. This is about the shocking reality behind the glossy ads, influencer videos, and AI buzzwords that The Sleep Company uses to hook Indian customers.

Let me break this down — not just for myself, but for every single Indian buyer who deserves better.

🛑 Product Issues – No Quality, No Orientation

We bought the SenseAI Smart Analyser Mattress (King, 12-inch, 78”x72”) and received it on 21-May-2025.

From day one:
• The remote didn’t work — and still doesn’t.
• Not a single technician, demo expert, or basic user orientation was provided.
• Their own staff had zero training on how to operate the “AI” features.
• It felt like the mattress was more “marketing AI” than real technology.

🔁 Return Request – Placed on 19-June-2025. Still Ignored.

We placed an official return request on 19th June, well within the policy. Their site acknowledged it. But a month later:
• No pickup. No refund. No closure.
• We received spam-marked calls from unknown numbers repeatedly — not to solve, but to convince us to “use the product for 2 more months” instead of returning.
• When calls were unanswered, they falsely claimed “customer not reachable” and closed the support ticket.
• Multiple escalation emails to support addresses bounced back due to mail server errors — even their communication system is broken.

📉 Systemic Loopholes — What Every Indian Consumer Should Know:

Let’s call it out:
• Their “AI mattress” comes with zero working knowledge base
• Their support emails (returns@, hello@, support@) literally don’t work — bounced mails prove it
• Their phone support is outsourced, untrained, and meant to deflect, not resolve
• They use aggressive psychological tactics to make you keep the product
• No SLA, no return tracking, no one from leadership steps in
• For ₹2.75 Lakhs, they act like they’re doing us a favour even replying

💔 The Emotional Cost of Being Ignored

Do brands even understand today how hard it is to spend ₹2.75 Lakhs in this economy?
That money isn’t loose change. It’s years of savings, sacrifices, working weekends, saying no to other comforts — all for the dream of bringing a slice of comfort into our home.

What we got instead: mental fatigue, loss of trust, and sheer helplessness.

🧭 What Are You Really Paying For?

You think you’re buying a smart mattress. But you’re actually buying:
• A marketing illusion
• A helpline that hangs up or loops you endlessly
• A company that has no clue how to resolve issues, only how to sell
• A business that breaks customer trust — quietly, frequently, and with zero conscience

⚠️ Final Verdict – Beware Before You Buy

The Sleep Company has mastered Instagram branding, but it has utterly failed in real-world delivery, returns, and service.

If you want peace of mind, genuine support, and ethical after-sales care — this may not be the brand for you.

I’m filing a case via:
• National Consumer Helpline
• Consumer Protection Act grievance
• Public complaint across Twitter, Google Reviews, and LinkedIn

Until then, this review is for every Indian family considering them: don’t just fall for pretty photos and fancy words — ask if they will stand by you when things go wrong.

Because for me, they didn’t.

They proudly declare themselves a “science-backed, purpose-driven, comfort-obsessed” brand — with founders like Priyanka Salot and Kritarth Upadhyay frequently featured in interviews preaching innovation, empathy, and customer centricity. They bring in Anil Kapoor, speak of “AI-powered sleep revolution,” and market themselves as disruptors.

there’s a vast gap between what they preach and what they practice — it is betrayal.

Horrible delivery service

Horrible delivery service. They just dumped the mattress at the gate of the community. Not delivering at the door. Then the delivery guy starts asking me if I'm single. Disgusting and absurd. Then he wants additional money to help me get it to my door.

The sleep company is cheating company…

The sleep company is cheating company and they don’t keep the promise they make. Specially this product is not suitable for women and have lot of back pain. I have bought 2 mattress and it was horrible and requested them to exchange or refund and they never responded properly. I request to be careful choosing this product.

Products will not move in the market unless you hear from the customers not by celebrity advertisement.

I wish I could give 0 stars

Absolute scam of a company. Horrible customer service, no clue as to what is happening, no follow ups till you reach out to them. They don't give a damn about customers. They only care about getting Anil Kapoor to be the face of the brand, which I'm sure he'll decline to do, if he comes to know about the delivery experience.

Spamming after Amazon purchase

After placing an order for a product from The Sleep Company via Amazon.in they constantly spam you. Interestingly they spoof the From address as your own Amazon account email address making it tricky to filter. Their Unsubscribe button also does nothing. Been getting spam from them for years.

They are literally scammers

Avoid shopping with this company at all costs-they are outright scammers and exploit their customers. Their so-called "customer service" is nonexistent, and they blatantly deceive people.

I've shopped globally, but this is by far the worst company I've ever dealt with.

Here's what happened: I purchased a Stylux office chair from The Sleep Company a few days ago (and yes, all their products are ridiculously overpriced). Within 24 hours of use, my neck and lumbar pain worsened significantly. When I reached out to their so-called customer support to request a replacement, I was immediately informed they have no return or replacement policy.

Yes, you read that right-this company doesn't offer any form of return or exchange, which is absurd and unheard of. To make matters worse, they misleadingly advertise a 10-day replacement policy on their website, which is apparently just for show. This is pure fraud, and they're getting away with cheating customers. Stay away from them!

BEWARE! LIARS AND THIEVES!

Received bed from them which their own technician refused to install, because he said it is completely damaged and appears SECOND HAND.

The website offers 100 day sleep trial.

Their own technician said that defective products is a frequent problem with this company.

No wonder they are having to resort to stealing.
