Not impressed my sister bought a fridge…

Not impressed my sister bought a fridge freezer which is faulty. They tried to get her to ring the manufacturer which is incorrect. We have emailed again and left a message on the mobile number and are awaiting a reply. Please be aware when dealing with this company and your rights under the Consumer Credit Act 2015. If this is not sorted we will be taking further action.

I ordered an ex display model fridge…

I ordered an ex display model fridge freezer. The damage is horrendous and completely unacceptable. It has a huge ripple wave all along the bottom. The company has not responded since last Thursday when I sent the requested photos. There is no phone number that works. Would not ever recommend this company. Just want my money returned as goods not fit for purpose.

So I ordered a oven it was damaged the…

So I ordered a oven it was damaged the door wouldn't close and the foot was missing under oven had a big dent on the side like someone had dropped it.
So contacted shop at home. Took them nearly a week to respond. So they have collected oven but never refunded me as yet 🤔 said would take 1/3 days this was last week. The guy Lewi has not replied back to my emails. I'm now fighting to get my money back. It's so wrong 😞

I bought a washing machine from these…

I bought a washing machine from these people which was sipposed to be ex desplay. Upon opening my machine which was poorley wraped in bubble wrap i descovered it was badly scratched like it had been dragged along the floor on its door and it was clearly pre used as i could smell the cheep washing detergent as soon as i opened the door. Be aware if buying from these people as many items are not as described.

If I could leave 0 I would. I just wish I had checked here before I purchased. Our order was delivered but broken and unable to use. There is no number to ring only an email. We have emailed four times since receiving on Saturday and no reply. A complete con!

Brilliant, well happy!!!

I am very relieved and happy I found the shop at home.
In these cost of living times, to be able to save £££ on a ex display item, which is basically as new is a god send. With speedy delivery thrown in. I will not need to go anywhere else.

If I could give 6 stars. I would!
Very happy with the product. Saved alot of money! Communication has been excellent and delivery was on time. Could not ask for anymore. I highly recommend The Shop at home for household appliances.

Extremely poor

Extremely poor, failed to deliver on the day we were given after running late. Then delivered 2 days later with a great big dent in the product.

No customer service, just an email adress with a response time of 48hrs

Please avoid using these guys

Exceptional customer service

My experience of customer service has been exceptional. Lewi handled my issue very quickly and went above and beyond to help me when the manufacturer refused to honour a warranty on their product. Hi-Sense get a one star review from me but Theshopathome.com get five stars for saving the day!

The fridge has been used.

The fridge had a small dent on it at the front and had dirty draws that my partner had to clean before we could use, only reason we didn’t return it was because we desperately needed a fridge, other then that works really well and had loads of room inside

Impossible to get replies to support emails.

Have a problem with our drying cupboard which should be covered by shopathome warranty. After agreeing by email, after multiple emails, that they would sort out, I am now getting no replies. There’s no phone number on the site. The item we have is generally good for the price but beware communication is next to none.

Terrible service companies

The confusion with this company is it appears to be run under three Names IE: PANTHER,AIT & SHOP AT HOME, trying to contact them you are pushed by pillar to post from one company to another all denying there fault.We brought a cooker from SHP which AIT delivered but was smashed glass upon starting to unpack. Trying to make contact was an absolute nightmare eventually having to contact Pay Pal to get our money back(fantastic Service) after two weeks the cooker was collected by AIT & shop at home said money would be refunded via pay pal which it has been "yeah" but as i previously said a very mixed up company i paid SHP for the cooker uponcomplaining i had emails from panther AIT & SHT all denying fault very poor companies & customer service absolutely APPAULLING will never deal wit them again.

I purchased an oven from this company

I purchased an oven from this company, the oven arrived, it was severely damaged, I mean the back caved in, the doors don't open etc, I contacted the company and had no response. I then went through PayPal as they offer buyer protection but the seller has asked me to return the item at a cost to me between £100-200 and they will give me a full refund... Oh I did get an email from them stating that they would pick it up and refund my money Well I am sorry under the consumer act 2015 if an item arrives damaged it is down to the seller to collect and refund. My wife is 78 and we have not had an oven for almost three weeks and she is extremely stressed. It appears that this company will not do the right thing and are pushing in to the small claims court to get this sorted.
I certainly will not but off them again, you make up your own minds....

Never ordering again

I’ve ordered from this company three times, and every single time something went wrong.

I ordered a silver fridge but got a black one instead. The dishwasher arrived used, with food stuck inside the pipes, salt inside, and even some broken parts. As for the washing machine — I never received it at all. They couldn’t deliver it for two weeks.

Communication is terrible. You have to message them every day just to get any kind of response. They refunded me for the washing machine without even contacting me or apologising.

Honestly, a terrible company. I will never order from them again and wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.
