“The extra mile”This was a very important purchase for…

This was a very important purchase for my father and we came in 20 minutes before closing the sales agent was very pleasant and so very helpful, he didn’t make us feel rushed but instead he showed us many different styles of furniture we were interested in . I loved how they had a wheelchair for my dad and how many selection of recliners they had . We feel like we had a great deal and service & loved how he spoke to my father in Spanish not to make him feel left out of the conversation, he just made us feel very happy with our purchase . Thank you Freddy

Lombard verses Bloomingdale location

Went to the RoomPlace in Lombard. It was not busy at all and they had sales associates on their phones as we entered but greeted us nicely on arrival. Then went back on their phones. 30 seconds later a Latino woman came over to us and asked what we were looking for today. I told her a sectional. She told us about the stores layout and if we didn’t see anything downstairs she would show us some nice sectionals upstairs. So my wife and I walked around but did not see anything we liked. We walked over to where her and two other sales associates on their phone and I said we are ready to go upstairs. She told us to take the elevator and she would take the escalator. (My wife had a walker) we met her on the second floor and she let us walk around and she will be by the sectional she really wanted to show us. So we walked around and met her to where she was. We didn’t like any sectionals so I asked her if they had the “Bowery Collection” and she said let me look and went through the second floor reading all the names of the sectionals in which I already looked. She said no we don’t have any of that collection. I said we saw it on the floor in the Bloomingdale location and online.
She told us we would have to go back to the Bloomingdale location. I asked her if she could look to see if it was in inventory and she told us “I already did, and we don’t have it. So we left.
We headed to the Bloomingdale location and there we were met by the nicest man but he was the only one working and currently helping another customer. We asked about the Bowery Collection and he walked with us but he said he wasn’t familiar with that Collection but he thought it was set up in a particular spot on the floor. We looked and it was not there so he said let me look in our inventory online. He left and checked on his other customers and looked on the computer and came back to us ten minutes later. He walked us to the computer and it was there so we picked the one we liked. He said ok give me a minute to help my previous customer. I didn’t know if he wanted us to purchase it online or wait for him so we waited 15 minutes for him to complete the sale from his existing customer. I went back to the computer to start ordering it and he came over and he said I would really like to ring you up and I am almost done and then you both can come to my desk. So we waited another 10 minutes.
I let him know about the Lombard location and our experience and he apologized for them. We completed the sale and left.
Two completely different experiences! Maybe the Bloomingdale location needs more sales associates?

Nice in store display

Nice in store display.
Salesman was helpful but not pushy. He backed off snd gave me time to look at my options but was available to answer questions
Pricing less than other stores such as Ashley.

Awesome Experience

I worked with Yazz. He was very polite and knowledgeable. I wasn't pressured at all. I also want to say thank the lady behind the desk. She was very polite and patient with me after I had to have her update the contract like three times due an error on my behalf. I would recommend "The Roomplace" and this location for the friendly staff. Thank you!

I went in asking question about the ad that was mail out and was so happy I did left with a livingroom set with a free chair and a bedroom set thank you room place waiting on my delivery with all my free stuff can"t wait
