I replaced a return order on 11.11.2025 and just today the currier collected my item, it took very long time that I can’t now exchange the item size because it’s out of stock, I called them and they advised me to keep checking on the website for the size availability. I requested to return the otjer item which i bought together as it’s color matching and refund the money to my card. It’s very bad experience and will never buy again.

I placed an order with The Giving…

I placed an order with The Giving Movement on November 2, 2025 from Miami, Florida. The checkout showed a final price — no mention of customs or extra fees. After payment, the company demanded an additional 45–50% “tariff” before shipping.

When I questioned this, their team (Tariq from support) repeatedly ignored my emails and tried to justify the hidden charge, even though I had written confirmation stating I would not pay more than the original amount. They currently advertise a 40% discount site-wide but refused to apply it to fix the issue — proving this was about greed, not policy.

This behavior is deceptive and violates U.S. consumer protection laws. I have already filed formal complaints with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and the Florida Attorney General’s Office.

If you are a U.S. customer, be warned — The Giving Movement adds undisclosed post-purchase fees and refuses accountability. Until they change their practices, I strongly advise avoiding this brand.

Hello J,

Thank you for sharing your feedback. I am sorry for the frustration this situation caused. We want to clarify that we would never dispatch a U.S. order without first receiving confirmation from the customer. We always send an email before dispatching any U.S. order, asking the customer to confirm that, due to recent changes in U.S. import regulations, customs and import duties of approximately 45–50% of the order value would apply. These fees are determined by the customs authorities. This process ensures that you are fully aware of any additional charges before your order is processed and shipped.

If your order was dispatched without your confirmation, please let us know at CSHead@thegivingmovement.com and share the order details along with the amount you paid. We assure you this is not the standard process and that we always ensure to be transparent with our customers.

An awful company to deal with

An awful company to deal with. I would give it a zero. The return process is horrendous no one in the company communicates with each other. You are always given different information by different people. You are unable to raise a formal complaint as they don’t even have a complaint process. It has been three weeks and I have still not received my refund. AVOID!!!

I was really disappointed with my experience at The Giving Movement. The clothes looked great online, but the actual quality was far below expectations. The fabric felt rough and poorly made, and after wearing them, I noticed skin irritation — which has never happened to me with other brands. For the price and the brand’s image, I expected much better. Unfortunately, I won’t be buying from them again unless there’s a clear improvement in both quality and fabric safety

The Giving Movement is a local brand…

The Giving Movement is a local brand that prints T-shirts in support of Palestine, but completely ignores the Israeli side of the conflict. While it’s their choice to take a stand, it feels like the support is more trend-driven than truly humanitarian.

Real activism should be based on values, not selective sympathy or profit. Supporting one side while ignoring the pain of others doesn’t reflect true compassion or justice. It comes across as performative — especially from a brand that claims to stand for global good.
🇮🇱🇮🇱
Even worse, the company recently laid off more than 16 employees without any warning or explanation. These were hardworking people who helped build the brand and were shown zero respect or compassion.

For a company that claims to stand for humanity, sustainability, and ethics — this behavior is incredibly hypocritical. Where is the humanity in using global tragedies for profit and treating your own employees as disposable?

Disappointed to see such a one-sided approach from a company that promotes itself as ethical and inclusive

Absolutely Outstanding Experience – Top-Notch Customer Service!

I rarely write reviews, but this company truly deserves the spotlight. From the moment I placed my order, everything was seamless. The clothing is not only stylish and well-made but also incredibly comfortable — exactly what you hope for when buying online.

What truly sets them apart, though, is their exceptional customer service. I had a minor issue with sizing, and their support team responded almost immediately. They were polite, professional, and genuinely helpful. They handled my exchange swiftly without making me feel like a burden — which, in today’s world, is rare and honestly refreshing.

It’s clear they care deeply about their customers and take pride in what they do. Quality products, quick shipping, and above all, service that makes you feel valued.

Highly recommend — I’ll definitely be coming back!

Terrible company

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience with The Giving Movement. I placed an order and did not receive any communication regarding my parcel until I reached out myself. When I finally got a response, I was informed that my ID was required to process my order—information that was not disclosed at the time of purchase and felt highly unprofessional.

After reluctantly sending my ID, I heard nothing back until I called customer service, only to be told that my shipment would take an additional 2-3 working days. The lack of transparency, poor communication, and unnecessary delays have left me very dissatisfied. Furthermore, after I requested clarity on why they needed my ID, they ignored my email and follow-ups. This experience has been frustrating and unacceptable. I expected better from a company that promotes such positive values for such an extortionate pricepoint.

Hi Maxime,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I am truly sorry for the frustration you faced throughout this process. You deserved clearer communication and timely updates, and I completely understand why you felt disappointed.

You should not have had to follow up several times just to get basic information about your order. The delays, the lack of transparency, and the unanswered emails are all issues we take very seriously. I am also sorry that the ID request was not explained to you properly. I understand how uncomfortable and unprofessional that must have felt.

To clarify, there are times when a shipment is held by customs and the courier may request a copy of your ID or passport to complete the customs clearance process. This requirement does not come from us as a company. It is requested by customs authorities through the courier to ensure your package can be released and delivered without further delay. Please rest assured that any information you provide is handled securely and in full accordance with our privacy policy.

Your feedback truly matters, and we are reviewing the situation to ensure our communication is clearer, faster, and more supportive moving forward.

We genuinely hope to earn back your trust. If there is anything we can do to help, please reach out to us at CSHead@thegivingmovement.com
and we will make sure your experience is handled with care.

Very poor customer service

Very poor customer service. Will not be buying from this 'sustainable', 'giving' brand again. The items are not made to a standard size. I bought XS before and it fits me perfect. This time, the bodysuit is eating into my arms. It's so tight I can barely breathe. I asked for a refund or exchange. Apparently they can't do either and closed my ticket. Wow, thanks guys for the help. Your items aren't worth investing in. Honestly, it's not like these products are affordable. Avoid, avoid, avoid.
