My wife and I recently hired this company for a garden party, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the enquiry to the final setup, everything was handled professionally and with great attention to detail.

The marquee they provided was perfect for our space and exactly the right size for our gathering. It created a lovely atmosphere and gave us peace of mind (considering the risk of 4 seasons in one day!). The furniture we hired was very nice and fit the party well and was of a really good quality.

The team was super reliable and friendly. They arrived on time, set everything up, and made sure everything looked just right before they left. Nothing felt like too much trouble, and their experience and expertise really helped bring the whole event together.

I really recommend this company to anyone planning a garden party or event. Really good service and quality, and I'll be using them again when the weather gets better!

Have used twice now for bar services and staff hire and both times been flawless. Can't recommend enough. Prices very good as well considering Edinburgh rates and other companies!

Had epic events out for a new years bar and catering. Arrived promptly. Friendly staff and cleared everything away afterwards. Thanks to David who stayed behind to help with the chairs!

We had a last minute requirement for a marquee due to poor weather and these guys were fab. Nothing was an issue and service prompt. Would highly recommend.

After reading others hesitations of this company and warning others not to use them, I decided to secure another bar. This company went in to liquidation last year without breathing a word to us, so unless I had extensively Google searched one night in a panic I wouldnt have found them again. They had no contact number, changed their name and email. We had a 100% refundable deposit, which of course they've decided we will not get back as they've decided they aren't giving it back. I emailed with no reply so messaged on facebook for a prompt of an email. So glad I booked a different company after realising that this one is contactable when need to be and nothing more, and clearly just steal your money, too.

Had Epic Events out again to our school for another fun day. Kids had a great time and the team were professional and interactive. Everything set up on time and they even stayed later than planned to allow for nursery and ASN kids to attend. Would highly recommend.

Had Epic Events booked for our Wedding. Used their mobile bar, catering and dancefloor along with a small marquee for extra space incase of rain. No issues and staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Highly recommend.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Our experience with The Epic Events Company - formerly The Allstar Experience Group Ltd and now rebranded as Epic Events Co - has been nothing short of appalling. I wanted to sort things amicably given I was told we'd be due a full refund but now my emails are being ignored so idgaf - writing this so others dont have the same experience.

We booked them for our wedding and paid around £1,100 for their services. What followed was a catalogue of dishonesty and incompetence:

We later discovered the original business had gone into administration, something we were assured was not the case when we asked directly.

They rebranded under a new name without telling us and promised a refund that, weeks later, still hasn’t appeared.

The week before our wedding, they attempted to bill us for extra services we had never agreed to just down to their incompetence, leaving us to source another supplier and pay even more out of pocket.

They withheld the required licence until the last possible moment, adding completely unnecessary stress to an already busy and time.

And to top it all off, they had the audacity to try and blame us for their own mistakes.

I’m a fair person and always try to give people the benefit of the doubt. But the way Steven and his minion Anna handled this situation was utterly unacceptable - dismissive, disorganised and entirely lacking in accountability. It’s a shocking way to treat any client, let alone a couple in the run-up to their wedding day.

We were patient, reasonable and cooperative, but were met with silence, broken promises and shifting excuses. The whole experience has left us out of pocket, deeply frustrated and with a sour memory attached to what should have been one of the happiest times of our lives.

I would strongly urge anyone considering this company - in any of its guises - to think twice before handing over a penny.

We just had our wedding celebration at Comrie Croft and we’re very happy with the service from Epic. The bar staff arrived just after our guests entered the hall for the ceremony and by the time they came out the bar was set up and ready to go.

I didn’t get to speak to them much but they seemed cheerful and pleased to be there. I saw other guests laughing and joking with them so I’m sure they are friendly!

Anna was also patient with me when I took a long time to reply to some of our communications - thanks Anna!

Highly wouldn't recommend due to malpractice (food safety) and terrible service at a wedding, not taking accountability for issues at a wedding.

Avoid at all costs

Terrible communication — over a week for replies unless you call them out publicly on Facebook.

Failed to provide services I paid for (wine coolers and food storage boxes) and then lied, claiming my catering team hadn’t requested them, despite a confirming phone call.

Used photos of my event, my guests, and my intellectual property without consent, posting them on social media until the post was removed by facebook for copyright infringement.

Promised a refund for the wine coolers but still haven’t paid it after 7 days.

Don't use this company for a wedding, they have cast a very dark cloud over my perfect day.

Steve delivered and set up early and efficiently, and Anna supervised beautifully throughout!
The kids thoroughly enjoyed the bouncy castle all day and the penalty shootout went down a treat.

As a school we have used this company for the last 4 years, and it has become an annual event for us. The team are fantastic and always helpful. The communication is great and the team are super easy to work with. Steven is always a star on the day and makes sure the event runs well. I thoroughly recommend Epic!

Great service, fast and super efficient response to all messages. Really accommodating and put our needs first in preparation for our event. Staff on site for the event were really friendly too. Would recommend!

Steven was so chill and nothing was too much trouble. Our party didn’t have an end time and Steven and the team kindly stayed longer to help us and we were extremely grateful for their flexibility. The bar just looked wonderful. Cannot fault them at all.

When we were let down at the last minute, Allstar Experience Group came on board and were on site the following morning at the time they said and after the event was over were there to pick up their materials.
