Fast turnaround from the time project was ordered and install which took three days. But it was more important to me that the install was done properly rather than fast. And it was. Gabriel clearly took pride in his work and was more than willing to answer any questions I had. He involved us whenever there was an issue or question. The one problem I would mention is there didn't seem to be a good coordination between the salesman and the installer. Gabriel ran into a couple of issues that could have been handled easier if the salesman had alerted him to them before the job began. But Gabriel took care of them in a professional manner. The bottom line is we have a new walk in shower that is exactly what we were hoping for.

We met with a salesperson 5/9. We surmise he is no longer with the company, because we could not reach him after the installer arrived 6/5, and we immediately became aware there were issues with what was promised, and what was going to happen.
First, we were told it would all be done in one day. I even pressed the salesman on this, as they do a complete demo of the old shower, before installing the new, and ours was three walls and a ceiling full of tile. He assured us the “crew” enjoys demos, and makes quick work of it. Unfortunately, rather than a “crew,” we had one Ione installer, who knew he wouldn’t finish in one day. It took three.
Further, we figured with the ceiling demoed, replacing the old, rusty light would be super simple, without having to access the wiring from the attic, so we asked if that would be something the installers could do, if we supplied the replacement fixture. Salesman agreed, and we had him put that in the contract. Unfortunately, our installer didn’t want to do it, and on day two, we saw the ceiling was not demoed, so replacement wouldn’t be an easy fix after all. Seeing our frustration and disappointment, he did take care of demo, but we called an electrician to come on emergency basis, so we could move things along, costing us an additional $225. Mind you, the cost was already almost $13,000.
When the electrician saw there was no green board (supposed to be purple, in our case) on the walls, he was shocked, and told us he would stop the whole install. We were shocked too, as we remember the discussion with our salesman being they use purple board, which is similar, and in fact, it is called a few other colors sometimes. When we asked our installer, he said he just uses a thicker, better board, no green, or purple. Sadly, since the contract is not itemized, we don’t know what we really paid for.
When it came time to put the shower door on, we saw it was going to be wrong. Again, the discussion with the salesman assured me he had written the order so it would open just the way our old door had. In order to make that happen, the installer basically had to flip the door and frame upside down. Sadly, we didn’t know until we could actually use the shower a day later, how that didn’t work well. Our bath mat and floor get very wet, and the etched words on the glass, which should be upright and at the bottom, are upside down at the top! We also learned, the anti slip bottom is very slippery! Just not good!
Lastly, we were to receive a $50 gift card for getting an estimate. I saw the salesman write it down, but he told us he doesn’t handle that, he gives it to the office, and thought it took about five weeks. We’re pretty sure that has not been taken care of, as we have no card. However, since no one from customer service has ever responded on anything from our many messages we don’t know. My husband and I have both left messages, and while a gentleman did call us, he said someone from customer service would be in touch, to work out a resolution to all of this, but…”crickets.”

From beginning to end working with Bath Authority was great. Everyone I spoke with was professional, responsive and straightforward. Install was a breeze, one day to remove my old tub and surround and install a new tub, shower walls, etc.! Dave and Kenny were clean, efficient and professional on install. The final product transformed my bathroom, and is leagues above a prefab surround or overlay in terms of quality and cost benefit. I'm very glad I went with Bath Authority for this project, and would absolutely recommend.
