Ordering, collecting and loving the products was easy...
Ordering the products I wanted was easy and guided by the lovely staff, I was able to order to the showroom and collect when it was convenient. The lovely receptionist helped me take my products to my flat round the corner.

Fantastic lamp
Bought a reflection table lamp I’ve long had my eye on. Snapped it up in the sale directly on Tala for an absolute bargain. Now it has arrived it’s so nice, I would have still loved it at full price - but - they’re not currently full price so I’ve just quickly bought another in a different shape!!
FYI these ones don’t just look like table lamps, they’re almost sculpture like. The dimmer switch has a great range I really appreciate as I do struggle with bright lights sometimes. Very well packaged and easy to put together.
Delivery very good especially over Easter BH.

Stunning floor lamp from Tala
I bought the Echo floor lamp, which is absolutely stunning. I had to contact customer services as it has 7 bulbs and they arrived in different shipments over the space of a few days. The light was easy to put together. It’s not my first light from Tala as I love their products.

Terrible service ordered two wall light…
Terrible service ordered two wall light only the bulbs have turned up. Customers service is rubbish no one answers or emails you back called 25 times Thursday finally got an answer Was assured our fittings would turn up today but haven’t I will be returning the bulbs for a refund terrible service for 500 pounds worth of lights.

Lamps all fine, packaging really (really) poor.
Lamps all fine (I'm a regular purchaser). Packaging over-engineered, the amount and shear weight of it cannot be deemed to be green surely? Furthermore, every edge is covered by very (very) sticky tape that is almost impossible to remove. My understanding is packaging caked in tape won't be recycled. I also detest the polystyrene cheesy wotsits every box is stuffed with - what are we to do with them when we've picked them all up off of the floor other to put them in regular waste destined for land-fill? You need to do much (much) better Tala and I am surprised your B Corp. certifiers haven't picked up on this.
Thanks for reply Emma, perhaps you should advise people on what to do with the wotsits or peanuts as you call them.

Overpriced and poor knowledge
I contacted Tala customer support to ask advice on bulb for a light. I was advised to order a disgustingly overpriced lightbulb and pay an astronomical amount in delivery.
I ordered the bulb they recommended (Gaia) from another supplier that charged a fairer price for postage, and the lightbulb was way too big for the fitting. It physically didn't fit.
Avoid! Over priced, and customer service are clueless.

When asked for a refund. It was na blunt “why?”. Also, no free return. For a £275 lamp you’d expect a free return esp when, if bought via another shop, I can return free of charge.If I were in future to buy a couple of different Tala lights (which are beautiful) and they sadly did not fit/match the area/room and needed returning, I would be out of pocket
