I stayed at Daffia apartment for 2 months the is amazing and location was perfect all residents in building was very polite, sunlight properties staff was amazingly professional and service minded. We had a great stay in our holiday villa in Le Tignet (Villa Olea). It was a great house and a great holiday. The contact with Sunlight was also good. Everything was clear and Catherine was very helpfull. Thanks for the time.

Not good. Wont ever book again. Condescending & don’t actually help. Almost ruined vacation.

After reading a recent negative review, I felt compelled to share my own experience with Sunlight Properties. We've visited three of their properties so far and we've been impressed with the high quality - both of the apartments themselves (stylish and well-equipped) but also the quality of the clean. Impeccable every-time and with nice white hotel linens too. Their staff have always been helpful and attentive to our concerns. They've gone above and beyond to sort any niggling issues that have been brought up along the way, and always with care and a smile. This goes far beyond the customer service that we've experienced from other hospitality providers in France and in general. Easy booking too which is always a bonus! We would happily recommend them to friends, colleagues and family.

This is an outstanding agency to book your next holidays in all respects. Smooth booking process, amazing venue, friendly staff, Cleanliness of the apartment, service. Top notch! For sure we return!

As soon as I walked in to the apartment, I instantly noticed the attention to detail. It’s always the little touches that make the difference, and I was delighted to know that I had an included transfer from the airport to the accommodation which saved me the hassle of working it out on my own! (Also delighted about the bottle of wine)

I highly recommend Sunlight, the apartment was in immaculate condition, definitely will use them again.

We checked into this apartment in Nice based on the reviews we had seen on this site. BEWARE. This apartment looks different in the online pictures than it does in real life. The pictures must have been taken years ago. The walls of the apartment were dirty. The floor was dirty. The elevator in the building did not work, nor did the A/C, nor did the stovetop. There were stray hairs on the supposedly clean beds and the entire apartment had an unclean, sticky, and unpleasant feel to it. The final straw for us was that the morning after we checked in, there was a strong smell of URINE emanating from the shower drain. The smell did not go away and spread throughout the entire apartment. After communicating this to Sunlight Properties, their explanation was that the buildings in Nice are old and that this smell was not out of the ordinary and not unexpected. They said they would pour some drain cleaner down the shower drain and that the smell should go away. We obviously were already extremely dissatisfied with the apartment and had decided to instead go to a hotel down the street. We asked for a refund for the 5 nights we would not be spending in the apartment–because, again, the apartment REEKED OF URINE–and we were told no refunds were to be given and that we would have to deal with the smell and stay there or lose our entire booking payment. I implore you–do not stay or book in this apartment or any apartment managed by Sunlight Properties. They are unprofessional, substandard, and not operating in good faith. Please spare yourself the headache and revolting, horrid experience and stay elsewhere in Nice.

It’s perfect in every way, the short bus (or tram) ride from the airport, it’s close proximity to the beach and town, the apartment itself is bright and sunny, beautifully kitted out with every amenity needed, it feels like home to us now, which is wonderful.... so thank you!! 🌞😃☀️

Some friends and I stayed in the LEGEND apartment - simply a delightful experience, everything we needed was to hand anything from a phone charger - wifi - towels - local maps you name it we had it. A stones throw away from the beach this apartment was perfectly located with plenty of eateries and bars galore. the owner has clearly paid attention to detail from the bedding/fluffy towels/amazing colours throughout/great art/superb lighting. Would I go again? - A big fat YES!

Cannot put into words how fantastic this apartment is. Exceptional decor and equipped with everything you would need. Picked up from the airport and met by assistant who led us to the apartment. Pictures do not describe how beautiful this apartment is. Fabulous location to French culture. Property management was always available for any inquiries. Even set up taxi to airport at the end of our stay. This apartment is a must rental for anyone wanting to come to Nice.

We stayed at apartment Kahlua July 2019 for 12 nights. It is a well situated, gated apartment complex very close to the sea and with shared pool. The apartment was clean including the terrace and well presented with good quality bedding, pillows and towels. However there were many problems with this apartment due to it being poorly maintained. Three larger problems which made for a stressful experience which is not what a holiday is meant to be. Firstly the air conditioning did not work, it had not been working for a long time as the engineer explained who came to fix it, and from us changing the batteries in the thermostat where the old batteries had leaked which shows it had not been tested to see if it was working. Fans were provided to help with keeping us cool but this was only after we noticed that they should have been provided as in our contract and we had to ask for them. The shutter for the kitchen which helps keep the apartment cool was also broken and was not fixed during our stay. The fridge was not working properly the door and top shelf were not keeping cool also the door didn’t shut correctly so our food got spoiled and then once we knew this we had to keep remembering to be careful and not fill it with too much food which meant more frequent trips to the supermarket. This was not fixed.
On top of these larger faults were many small ones which normally would just be a bit irritating, plug didn’t work in the bathroom sink so couldn’t fill it up to shave, could only shower not bath as the fixing was broken to run the water for a bath, the shower had a weak flow, the blind in the bedroom was broken, the front door kept sticking so the door handle was loose and made it difficult to open, the towel rail in the toilet was broken, so when washing your hands you had to come out of the toilet to dry them on a towel in another room. The oven didn’t work until the clock was set and the button to set that worked sometimes and not others.
Rather than just leaving a review we contacted Sunlight Properties about all of the above, over a month ago and have not heard anything back, apart from a conformation email that our correspondence had been received and they would be in contact, we chased them up 10 days later and was assured it was being dealt with but there was a delay due to illness, we chased them up once more another week later. To date we have heard nothing back.

The Legend Apartment was everything we wanted! The location is fantastic, you are right next to the bus stop which takes you to the airport and situated in central Nice. The beach is also a short 3 minute walk. There are so many beautiful restaurants, bars, supermarkets and bakeries nearby. It really couldn't have been in a better place.

We went out for dinner for 2 of the nights but chose to stay in the other 3 nights as the apartment was so gorgeous and the balcony was the perfect Nice setting. It was fully equipped with everything we needed - (I panicked when I forgot to bring a cork screw and they had one thank gooooooodnes!!)

I couldn't recommend the apartment more, it really made Nice my favourite and most memorable holiday. We are already planning our next visit to the Legend apartments, and I can't wait!

What a wonderful agent. Sunlight looked after my property so kindly and immaculately, and used only organic products which exemplifies their level of care and attention. As a property owner, I have had bad experiences with another larger agency in Nice who seemed to allow damage and charge it to my account at any opportunity, I am so glad to have chosen Sunlight to look after my precious property.

Our stay at the "Ruby" apartment on the Promenade des Anglais was truly excellent. The view from the balcony must rate as one of the best along the the coastline of the Bay of Angels. The apartment was warm and well equipped and we were given an excellent welcome and provided with all the information we needed for our stay by Adrian. The holiday was without any problems and dealing with Catherine was a delight. We will certainly return for another stay

Very helpful and are willing to do what they can to advise you. One thing though I would suggest advising your guests of the public transport to and from their location to the airport as taxis can be expensive. Apartment was fab and just as shown.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Eden. The apartment is beautifully kept, it is spacious yet cosy and has the highest quality amenities, such as luxury bath towels, bed linens and even the internet on the plasma TV, which allowed us to log into our Netflix account! Eden is very tastefully decorated and we felt right at home from the very instant we walked through the door!

It is also a real bonus to have a complimentary transfer from the airport to the apartment, something you seldom find if you book to stay at a hotel or with other rental companies. This is something we really value!

We received excellent support from Catherine and Malena before, during and even after our arrival - we had originally booked another apartment, but due to bad weather that had hit Nice, it suffered a leak and needed urgent repair work, Catherine was quick to inform us and very generous in offering us a different property at no further cost to ourselves.

This was our second time renting with Sunlight Properties, they offer impeccable service and beautiful properties, we will most certainly book with them again and again!

Brilliant location in old town. Fifth floor so quite a climb but apartment did nor disappoint cosy but new and well maintained. Would definitely use again.

Booked Place Grimaldi in Nice for 1 week and could not have been more pleased. The apartment more than accommodated our needs. Hanna was our agent from Sunlight Properties and she was most friendly and gracious. The apartment was clean, the beds were comfortable and the shower was amazing. The booking process was easy and the Sunlight representatives were most responsive. Would highly recommend this company.
