So my review is about my inmotion rs scooter in general. Although there are some issues regarding connectivity to the designated app and also an issue with a defective controller, everything else has been a sweet adventure. With good gear and a positive attitude towards everone else on the roads, this might just be the most celebrated way to travel. An obvious situation involves the lack of being able to transport much. This can be overcome by planning better. The rs scooter is a sheer delight in so many ways. For serious and responsible riders only.
I originally purchased a V10 but it was too heavy!
I originally purchased a V10 but as time went on, I realized that it was too heavy and I was struggling with it. I had waited past the 'return' part but eventually they agreed to give me credit towards the V8S that I should have purchased originally! Took time but it looks OK now!
Inmotion Trade In Program to V14
I recently took advantage of the Inmotion trade in program to get a V14. Even though some things had to be verified and then re-verified it was a very easy, very positive experience. After dropping of my trade in the new V14 was at my doorsteps in 3 days. In comparison I placed an order with Begode around the same day and the entire experience with them has been negative so far. So that's the difference between to EUC companies. Inmotion - very good customer service with excellent communication and very positive purchase experience

2nd, improve their customer service skills. Its like the people you speak to have programmed responses like you're talking to an automated person. Example:John at inmotion.
3rd, just produce better quality parts and a reliable/dependable product.
I've had my inmotion rs since June 21, 2024. Its only been ridden maybe a total period of 9 months, and not every day. It's put away for the winter months. I've never ridden it the snow or rain. Its put away in my house for the cold winter months. So it's never never been exposed to cold or wet conditions. It has 1194 miles on it. In the first 4-5 months, the rear controller went bad. Last month, the display stopped working. Inmotion wouldn't work with me so I had to go through Voro Motors to purchase one since Inmotion wanted twice as much for the same part. I've had some sort of squeaking/rubbing noise coming from the rear wheel. Possibly a bearing noise. Still don't know, but it's extremely annoying. Now, as of yesterday, the code 008 came up on the display. Possible battery replacement needed. At over $1600 for a battery on a $4,000 electric scooter that you've barely had 14 months is absolutely ridiculous! 🤬
I will give inmotion the chance and opportunity to make this right or I plan on contacting the BBB, consumer affairs, and the attorney general. Also, I will go viral with my story with intent to criple any future sales of the inmotion rs scooter. I really don't want to go those routes, but I will if needed. Its sad, because I've actually enjoyed this scooter until all these problems surfaced. If, somehow, this problem gets fixed, my next question is going to be "what's next?"

My inmotion climber is under warranty
My inmotion climber is under warranty. It’s been just over 8 weeks and unfortunately still unresolved. The company has been good at trying to get my issue sorted until now. When the issue arose they noted it was the front motor - they posted one out and i had to pay for postage and replace it myself as they have lost their dealers here in Australia. Nonetheless i accepted this and paid for the postage and watched YouTube video to get the front motor on. To get this delivered took weeks as their shipping department was really slow - i had to call and complain to have it expedited. Once received I installed it and the issue was not resolved. Anyhow it was then decided that it was the controller. Again i paid for shipping (should not have to as under warranty) and i had to install it (again should not have to as under warranty and i am not a professional). Watched YouTube video- the scooter is now a shell as everything had to be removed, and to my shock the part does not fit the scooter as the drill holes do not align. The companies response to the fix is that i need to go out and buy metal, cut it in half etc. so in other words i have no skill and no tools and i have to carry out this myself. I have requested on a few occasions a call back - completely ignored. My final request was that they either return my money, give me a new scooter or they search for an representative to fix my scooter. They have rejected all 3 and noted that i search for a professional which means i would have to pay for the repairs. My last reply was that they cover that cost and i am awaiting their reply. Very disappoined by the company to leave their clients without a scoooter, used to get me to work and on top of that, that i carry out all my own repairs and pay for them. If you are in Australia, buy Australian. Biggest regret is buying this scooter. Spend a little extra for the ease of mind.
EDIT: the scooter was purchased at ScooterHut. They are no longer in business, at the date of writing this review, thus i went straight to Inmotion for warranty. They argue that they have no obligation to cover the warranty (they noted it’s Scooterhut) and that they have been helpful at looking after me. This is where our differences lie. I have contacted Consumer Affairs weeks ago and they insisted that manufacturers must follow Australian law ie any product that enters our shores must not contravene the Act. I will contact them again tomorrow to confirm this.

I can’t speak highly enough of InMotion Scooters — not only is the product top-tier in terms of performance and build quality, but the customer service experience has been absolutely outstanding.
Unfortunately, my InMotion scooter was recently stolen. However, as soon as I contacted the support team, they acted swiftly and remotely disabled the scooter, rendering it completely unusable to whoever took it. Thanks to this feature, the scooter is now essentially a boat anchor — useless to anyone but me.

I continue to be impressed over and over again
I purchased the inmotion v14. The wheel has been absolutely amazing. Great design both physically and while connected to inmotion app. This has definitely a purchase that was extremely worth it. Customer service has also been 10/10. I had a question regarding a firmware update over the weekend, and to my surprise I had recieved a reply on Sunday, with a follow-up response on Monday that they sent a firmware update directly to my wheel by serial number. It was very quick and easy to turn on my app and click update.
I continue to be impressed with this company and due to my experience I am happy to reccomend them to anyone that shows interest in my wheel while they see me riding around.
In the end there was only one choice - Inmotion RS Lite
I spent 2 months researching my scooter upgrade. Dozens of youtube reviews and in the end there was only one very clear choice - The Inmotion RS Lite.
Love this scooter and the customer service after purchasing has been fantastic.. HIGHLY recommended.
Excellent support
After receiving my V8S I contacted support with a question. The answer was expeditious, very helpful and solved the issue right away. Very professional and a great example for excellent support.
And by the way, the V8S runs smooth and is a lot of fun. A great step up from the V5F.
