Customer Service Nightmare

We purchased a 5 person outdoor sauna from Sparks on a Saturday Oct. 4. Salesperson said that we would receive a call on Monday Oct. 6 to set up our delivery. He also told us the Sauna would be put together by their delivery people. We would have to hire an electrician but the sauna would be put together by their crew. No call came on Monday Oct. 6 or Tuesday Oct. 7. So my husband tried to call Sparks and no answer. He left a message and he received a text message on Oct. 8 that our Sauna was being prepped for delivery and would be delivered in one to two weeks. Fast forward to Oct. 17 and we had not heard from Sparks about delivery. My husband called and the call was answered by a call center. He asked why no one was calling us to coordinate the delivery as the delivery date had come and passed. Of course the call center had no information and the message would be passed to Sparks staff. My husband asked to speak to a supervisor and was told there was no one to talk because this was only an answering service. Later that day my husband received a text message saying our sauna was being prepared for delivery and it would be 1 to 2 more weeks before delivery. My husband tried to call Sparks and only reached the answering service again.
It took several phone calls and in week 2 for to have someone from California call my husband. My husband expressed his frustration with lack of communication.
I then looked up Sparks reviews and find that customer service is none existent on Saunas. I also looked up BBB ratings and guess what? Yes, another F rated business.
My husband asked Oct. 22 that our order be cancelled and the Sparks representative claimed the shipment was already on the road to Texas. We asked for proof of shipment. Surprise, no proof was supplied to us. Please notice the response of Oct. 27 where the Sparks representative claims he has shipping updates. However, we had asked he cancel our order 5 days prior. We requested once more to cancel the order and the Sparks representative pushed to deliver the sauna 25 days past the purchase date. We submitted a claim with the Credit Card company.
We originally purchased from Sparks because they are in town and we hoped a better experience than online. We were wrong. This is a terrible way to do business and we recommend you go somewhere else.

WE bought an outdoor sauna from Sparks

WE bought an outdoor sauna from Sparks. They delivered it to our house and began the set up and then walked off the job. They never completed the installation and I have a nonworking sauna. It is impossible to get someone on the phone as they block calls with a out-of-town call center. Do not do business with this company.

You are a Revenue Source not a Customer

I spent over $3000 on Equipment from Sparks. The last thing I purchased was a weight bench. When I got it home and put it together I realized the decline apparatus was too short and did not work for me. I called and talk to someone at the store who suggested a couple of adjustments. That did not work either. So, I brought the bench back and the first thing they asked was had it been more than 15 days since I purchased it. I said I had called as soon as I had put it together and tried it out, but not within the first 15 days. They said “there is nothing we can do about it … that is our policy”. I was SO frustrated and they just waved goodbye to me. MY RECOMMENDATION IS TO NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THESE FOLKS! YOU ARE NOT A CUSTOMER, YOU ARE A SOURCE OF REVENUE ONLY! There are other, better options in the DFW area!

False advertising.

False advertising.
While their website does state to check availability they advertise several Keiser products. When walking into the store I was told they didn’t carry Keiser bikes. Don’t rely on their website as it is not correct.

We hired Sparks fitness to come out and install gym flooring

We hired Sparks fitness to come out and install rubber flooring that we had purchased from another company. No issue on their end to come out and install for a fee of $5,000. In the middle of installation they realized that the company had sent us two different thickness of floor mats. The installers notified us of the problem. The problem now is that instead of stopping the job, the installers finished installing the INCORRECT floor mats and walked away assuming they were finished when we told them that we needed to order new mats from the company. Not only that but when we realized that they overcharged us $300 in labor/sqft they would not give us the money back citing that too much time had lapsed from when we noticed and when they “finished” the job. To which we said, they never finished the job. They installed the incorrect size floor mats knowing they were wrong, and it took us 2 months to get the correct mats in due to shipping. We tried to contact them numerous times to come out and rectify the situation and no response. At this point we would just like them to come out and finish the job, installing the correct floor mats, to now which they respond that they feel no obligation to come back and install the proper mats. Not only do we have a gym floor with two sized mats which we paid $5,000 to install incorrectly (and over charged), but the now they feel it is ok to just walk away, leaving us having to find another place to come out and rectify the situation. I can not believe a company would actually stand by this level of workmanship and customer service.
