Do not try and log into their website is absolutely awful no help nothing

Sadly my dentist has just been sold to this stupid company I can't even log on every time I've set up a password and they've sent me a email to verify it as soon as I open the email it tells me my password is incorrect and then I gotta start the whole process again the problem is I haven't even put in the password it's an empty bar and then it just instantly comes up saying incorrect password I've been trying for an hour you keep giving me the asking me for my phone number which I put in then you send me an email and we start off again it isn't my fault the box is empty and before I even can click to put in one digit it's telling me it's incorrect and then it's asking me for my phone number again I am sick to death of it all I wanted to do was check when my appointment was because you've not sent me a reminder!

Smile with pride dental care Ltd SE18…

Smile with pride dental care Ltd SE18 6EA Woolwich London.
It's the worst and most frustrating dental care I have ever had. Do not recommend. They overbooked patients and offer a terrible speed pressure and anxiety on patients, just to extort patients of their money without really offering the care they deserved.
1st, they denied the appointment they've booked you for when you arrived.
2ndly. After showing confirmation proof of booking, they squeezed you in between, rushed you up inappropriately and then charged you for the rubbish care they've offered. It was hell.
I had to rebook with another dental surgery to get it done all over.

Fabulous Dental Care

I can't thank my dentist enough for his professionalism and empathy for my dental care. Abdul Razzak Almahmoud is the best dentist I have had for a very long time and I trust him implicitly he has been treating me for some time now. A big thank you from me. All the staff are very friendly too.

Eastbourne Smile Dentist

Eastbourne Smile Dentist. There has been a dentist practice on this site for over 30 years & I have been a patient since my teenage years. Things have gradually gone downhill since Smile Dentist took over, particularly in the past year. Appointments are cancelled at short notice, 45 minutes wait beyond your appointment time. £70 charged for checkups, no receipts & none of the usual forms to sign on completion of the treatment or checkup. The dentists don't seem to stay long. You get to know a dentist & build up a rapport then they disappear. The standard of spoken English is poor apart from the reception team who at times are very blunt & unhelpful. I went there for dentistry treatment but was referred to another dental practice miles away out of town. So what was the point of attending Eastbourne Smile Dentist if I'm going to be sent elsewhere. They don't seem to be qualified to carry out certain types of work & appear to be trainees. Poor or non existent communication & request for contact details of the Practice manager are ignored. Having found a new NHS dentist who is far more professional I won't be going back to Smile Dentist Eastbourne. Unfortunately there is no provision to award zero rating.

100% increase in the quoted cost of an examination

I've been with this dentist happily for years. Just tried to book a check up and was quoted £70 with a £45 deposit payable on booking. My previous check ups have cost £35! Even their website quotes "from £45" for a check up so where £70 came from I have no idea. Looking for another dentist anyway, obviously. EDIT: I emailed their head office to ask for an explanation and have been ignored. Deeply disappointed in this dental surgery after being happy for so long.

Extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience.

Booked an X-ray appointment 3 weeks in advance and was clearly told no referral was needed, which I double-checked at the time. I paid a £30 deposit and waited due to limited availability.
Less than 24 hours before the appointment, I was suddenly told I needed a referral. Despite the short notice, I arranged this the same evening. However, on the morning of my appointment, it was cancelled, and I received a text on WhatsApp as confirmation, with no discussion.
I reached the clinic via landline and received an apology, but this does not excuse the poor communication and last-minute cancellation. As a result, I was left without an urgently needed X-ray after waiting three weeks, when I could have sought treatment at another clinic.

This experience was highly unprofessional and caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience. I would not recommend this clinic based on my experience.

Dont look after customers

I was removed from their private patient list without being informed or warned. When I called to book an appointment they said I need to find a new dentists they have no space. I found a new dentist but had to pay £150 for new patient consultation.

If I could give a zero star review then I would

Have been sent to this dentist in Paignton by nhs 111 emergency dentist if I could give them a no star review then I would. Was given a block of 5 appointments each one was cancelled the day before with no real reason explanation or apology.
My advice is don’t waste your time or your money

Lacking professionalism and duty of care..

10 years ago or so Pocklington near York closed with almost no notice leaving us with no dentist. A couple of years ago opened under new management. Rarely answer the phone, doors locked when it should be open, appointments regularly cancelled with almost no notice, receptionists inefficient and far from professional fronting, inappropriately dressed assistants and who you see are not dentists but more like hygenists or technicians. Have serious doubts about their remit and abilities.

Computer says 'no'...

Like another 1-star reviewer, I'm with Tadcaster Smile, but the problem seems to be with their financial management/administration, which I think is national or regional, not in-branch. I had a routine check-up in January which was covered by an HC2 certificate, but the HC2 had not yet arrived in the post. So I paid for the check-up and was told to keep the receipt, bring in the certificate at my next appointment and they would refund the fee. Note that they did not have the certificate number at that point, and nor did I. At my July appointment I presented the receipt and my HC2, which is valid from 4 days before the January appointment. They then claimed that the refund had been paid. Various emails ensued; when I pointed out that they couldn't have refunded me without the certificate number, they still said that 'the system' showed it had been processed - classic 'computer says no'. So I asked them to send me proof of the refund, and the date, and the means of payment - all of which they have to do under UK consumer law. I sent them proof that my bank had received no payment. They then promised to do a refund. That was mid-July. I'd received nothing by mid-August, so I asked again for proof they had refunded it. I got an apologetic phone call from the branch asking for my bank details (again) and was once again assured that the refund would be done. Here we are in mid-September and still no refund. So I'm taking it to Trading Standards. I'm sure the staff in-branch do their best, but the company admin would seem to be either incompetent or worse.

What a complete joke!

Pocklington

What a complete joke! NO STAR! I had a hole in my back tooth, so I’ve rang the 111 dental health emergency, they advised me to see a dentist in Morley. The Morley dentist took an X-Ray and advised me to get a root canal. I’ve eventually managed to get a NHS dentist UNFORTUNATELY this one. I went to see them traveled from Leeds to York YO42. This dentist TRIED to take an x-Ray, but there x-Ray machine DID NOT WORK! Haha! Instead I had to show the Morley x-Ray on my phone. This dentist looked and said, you cannot save the tooth. As I am the customer, I have a right to exercise my consumer right. I wanted them to refer me to get a root canal, 3 weeks no response! I had to ring and chase up on the referral. Eventually 4-5 weeks later, Harrogate dentist rang, but I was not sure about the procedure that he had explained, I left it for awhile. Later on 4 WHOLE MONTHS LATER, I WAS IN IN EXCRUCIATING TOOTH PAIN, I rang 111 explained, they said I could ask Pocklington to do a new referral, but they refused and even stopped me making further appointments. Enduring the long term tooth pain, I eventually had to take the back tooth out! I WANT TO WARN EVERYONE ABOUT THIS SHAMBLE DENTIST PRACTICE! KARMA WILL COME BACK AROUND! PLEASE DON’T GO WITH THIS POCKLINGTON DENTIST. Message to maddy and the practice manager get all the facts straight first before you take your clients off your list! Also, maddy there is nothing perfect about your dentist practice!!!

My smile dental care is 1-3 The…

My smile dental care is 1-3 The Crescent, Boscombe. Had an appointment with the hygienist on 1st September 11am, duly arrived at 10-55am only to be told it was cancelled due to IT problems ( I had paid a £35 deposit for this appointment during my previous appointment) They took my name and phone number and said they'd contact me to arrange another appointment, ok I thought, a week later still no message from them , so I decided this is terrible service, went to ask for a refund, lady receptionist was over happy ( and showed it ) I've had to fill out a refund form and was told it won't be processed until October. Quick enough to take your money, when it's there fault ,not so quick to refund . Not good service won't recommend them or use them again. Stephen Smedley

My Smile is the Tadcaster one

My Smile is the Tadcaster one. Had nothing but mistakes since I joined. They cancelled 2 appointments plus another on the Saturday morning when I was there. Saying they had other staff working but did it on another system. Then I had a mould done to make a denture. I kept going back on the appointment days but was messed about. I don't live local so is a 30 miles round trip for me. So went back several times still no denture. Later on they said we think it's been lost...... No shit! In all I was waiting 4 months baring in mind I had some teeth that was really loose. So couldn't eat much! Eventually got them but the original one I had what was lost. They don't fit right I complained to get another set done but no as would cost them money. It cost me £327 so I'm the customer but that don't count. If you can afford it go private. Otherwise just stick with these amateurs NHS gone to the shit house.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding Experience with Smile…

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding Experience with Smile Dental – Hygienist Appointment (Hanway Portsmouth)

I recently had a private hygienist appointment at Smile Dental with Jane Adenigba and her assistant, and I couldn't be more impressed. From the moment I arrived, they were both incredibly professional, welcoming, and attentive.

Jane did a fantastic job — the results were genuinely amazing. She took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all my questions with patience, and made sure I was completely comfortable throughout the entire procedure. Her attention to detail and gentle approach made what can sometimes be an uncomfortable appointment feel smooth and reassuring.

It's rare to come away from a dental visit feeling this positive, but Jane and her team really delivered. Well done! Highly recommended.

Very good company

Very good dental clinic. I had been with them for the last 5 years. The dentists are amazing and help you with every step of the treatment. The staff were very friendly as well.

Would definitely recommend my family and friends for any dental issues they have.

I have a broken tooth needs filling

I have a broken tooth needs filling. been with the practice based in this house for over 40 years, seen many changes while it was a NHS dentist, when it was sold to BUPA it went downhill, taking NHS patients and cherry picking what ever treatment was best profit. they then sold the practice to WELL DENTAL CARE.
Now I need dentistry to fix up the broken tooth, I find I have been dumped from their NHS list, reason given because Ive not contacted them since 2021, not true, my wife rang every year to make sure we were still listed, both of us.
Very unprofessional management, NO notification or communication that this was going on. really bad way to "do business" .
