What a joke. I put my first order on September 6 with delivery on September 7 in the evening. What a surprise, after paying 90 EUR, nothing is delivered. No phone number available to contact them directly. What a joke. If you don't want to waste your money, don't ever put an order with them.

Really happy with Smart Meals so far! The meals taste great, have a good amount of protein, and the portions are filling. I especially like how convenient they are — I can just take one out of the freezer/fridge and have a proper meal ready without spending time cooking. There’s also a really good variety, so it doesn’t feel like I’m eating the same thing every day.
The meals are perfect for anyone who works out and wants an easy way to get enough protein while saving time. The ordering and delivery were also smooth. Definitely recommend giving them a try!

The meals are tasteful and good portions for me, with fair prices. It's an healthy alternative to ready-made meals I had before. It really helps me out on stressfull days. I ordered for the 3rd time now.

I've tried many services, but I always get back to Smart Meals! Love the dishes, the selection and I think it's the best tasting ready food option out there. Always fast delivery and support is great as well. I usually heat it up in a pan which has been my favorite taste wise, but microwave also works fine.

90% of the meals are just not very good and I’ll usually eat anything. Watery chicken, tiny servings, close to zero flavour so most meals taste the same. Had a curry one today and there was almost no sauce, so just tasted like wet chicken and rice.

Every step, from selection on the site via delivery to preparing and eating the meals is a pleasant experience. The meals are tasty, sufficient. I typically dislike the fact that packaged meals can be bland, but the structure in the recipes of Smart Meals is excellent and they are well seasoned and tasty.

For the third month in a row now, we've ordered the 28 meals pack, some extra favorites and somewhat chicken snacks. We're huge fans! The tasts are spot on for us. Portions too ! And quite honestly, we also feel healthier and more energetic. It saves us time and surely helps us out when inspiration for cooking is low. Easily heated. Recyclable packages are stackable and therefor take little space in the trash.

Great high quality meals for a good price! With no mandatory subscription unlike the other providers. Keep up the good meals!

I order from here every two weeks and I’m always impressed! The meals are not only affordable but also incredibly delicious. I’ve tried several other meal prep companies before, but honestly Smart Meals stands out as the best in both taste and price. I normally never leave reviews, but this company truly deserves it. Easily a 10/10 – highly recomended!

a healthy lunch for the price of a sandwich

3 orders already - best price-quality ratio I could found - I prefer to eat a healthy lunch than queuing for a sandwich when I work away from home.

Really good food for very low prices. Speedy delivery. The best online ready made pastas in South Africa in my opinion.

Good food and delivery. Simply a good choice.

Inexistent customer and delivery service. I had to contact them via email in order to track my package. Furthemore the delivery at my adress was never attempted(I have a Door CAM) and dropped off at a pick up point 40 minutes drive from my Place. I requetsed a rescheduled delivery and they requetsed a extra 50% payment. Total scam. There are many other similar websites. Choose wiseley.

The food itself is great, which honestly makes this even more frustrating. The delivery, though, was a complete disaster. My order was on the road from Dec 22 to Dec 30 and arrived unfrozen! At that point, I don’t even know if it’s safe to touch, let alone eat.

I contacted customer service several times, explaining that this just isn’t okay - especially for food. They kept saying it wasn’t what they intended, but still allowed a package that spent almost a week in transit to be delivered. It really felt like no one was taking the situation seriously. For an order that cost around €100, that’s unacceptable.

How to do better?

1. Stop working with bottom-of-the-barrel couriers like Trunkrs - they’re hurting your service badly.
2. When dealing with food, freshness isn’t optional. Make sure customers actually receive it fresh.

It's great food, much choise in meals and they deliver fast. For me the size of the meal is perfect, I'm not too full but I ate enough. My guts are also thanking me :-)
I would recommand this to everybody who doesn't have time or doesn't like to cook but eat healthy

I was about to order from every, but their prices drops and hikes within week.
Their support was really strange in communication. Delivering to my place only two days a week with crazy time frame 8:00-22:00, so as already busy person it was no-go.
Than I decided to order here, and until now I'm really happy. Delivery went smooth they deliver with Trunks. Which is really good. I placed my order 9pm day b4 and it was delivered next day 7pm. Neat insulated and frozen. Nice packaging. For now I had one meal and can say this is really tasty, I hope it stay this way.
