Poor products and poor customer service

I had concerns and difficulties with customer service. I returned my product as per instructions received from SilkSilky and it was returned, marked "Vacant". When I expressed my concern, SilkSilky wrote:
Once we receive your email, our customer care team will prioritize your case, carefully review what happened, and provide a clear and fair solution. If an error was made on our side, we will take responsibility and work toward resolving it appropriately.

I did email. I received a response from somebody who told me to contact Canada Post to see why my package was returned marked "Vacant" - even though I'd had previous messages from SilkSilky informing me that they had moved. Even the response on TrustPilot indicated the same. My case was clearly not prioritized and nor was a clear and fair solution made. In fact, nothing was done at all.

Additionally, even though the US removed Section 321 de minimis last year, SilkSilky has not made arrangements for Canadian returns. They've had more than enough time. The website does indicate that Canadians need to return products to the US but are not clear that products are made in Asia and therefore Canadians have to pay US tariffs.

For any international buyers, I give SilkSilky a hard "no". The products are sub-par and the service is even worse.

Bad company

Their website recommended a small for me and I needed a medium. I placed one order and they shipped ot out in two shipments. I returned th first order not realize it and they are making me pay for the return cost of the 2nd shipment even though I only placed one order. Dont buy from them.

Difficult Return Process

Adding to other reviews about the returns procedure, the retailer requires you to send an email request, yet does not reply to repeated messages over weeks, then repeatedly ask for the same information, all of which obstructs the process they state on their own website. They also seem to change the return address, which is only released following the return request being processed, which raises questions in itself.

hi - very pleased with my delivery and quality of my leopard chemise. the box was pretty and sensibly packaged so it fitted through the letterbox. the only problem was on my order tracking it said at one point order completed when it hadn’t been delivered. was just thinking oh, god, no will have to contact them when the damn thing arrived hope this helps you - regards beth

First company sale Chinese sizes like…

My experience with this company 100% negative. First company sale Chinese sizes like Uk sizes.In fact it about 4-5 sizes smaller like Uk.I bought top sleeves for my missis,its come absoliut wrong size,retur I must pay myself.Buy special delvery its cost me 10£ .For item I pay 51.95 returned about 42 £ .So for every boudy refere do not buy nothing from this criminals company.

Do not buy anything from Silky Silk

Silky Silk have refused to respond to my numerous emails re a return of a purchased item. Via their website they directed me to their associated tech company when I needed to return an item. The tech company wanted to charge me£1.00 "refundable" but required my full credit card details before providing return details.I refused to do so.I have received no responses from Silky Silks and my refund due since end November of £80.96 has not been received. There is a very bad smell about this Company

I bought one pair of pj’s s/m that were…

I bought one pair of pj’s s/m that were perfect. So I bought a nightdress s and a second pair of pj’s m. The nightdress was huge, the second pj’s too small. Absolutely not worth the money. It’s a shame as my first pair of pj’s are perfect- so they can do it if they want.

Non existent customer service

They take your money then send wrong size. They won’t pay for return postage even though it’s their mistake. Return postage basically same price as purchase. Pointless to return and a big ‘if’ if you get your money back. Stay clear!

No reply again

Left a review on Trustpilot and silkysilky replied promising to rectify problem
but once again no reply to multiple emails
Cannot be trusted as seen by multiple negative reviews.
Looking forward to seeing their excuse this time !!!

Return Process is Among The Worst- Quality is Mid

Some of the pajama sets are nice quality and others feel cheap. It seems they buy from various manufacturers so quality is inconsistent.
Three stars are taken away because their return process is awful. They make returns as difficult as possible.
You have to email them no less than four times and then go through all sorts of efforts to force you to keep what you already said you don't want.
Then you'll finally- about two weeks after asking- get an email with several warnings about not getting your refund if one detail is missed- literally designed to increase their chances of keeping your money.
I'll never buy from them again and suggest you avoid SilkySilk and buy from a reputable store that has more respect for their customers and doesn't play these types of games with your money and time.

They refuse to give you an idea of what it will cost to return a shipment if it doesn't fit and their sizes are listed by others as inconsistent.

I chose not to buy from them because when I asked the cost of return shipping they said it is up to me and also refused to provide an address or country that it would need to be shipped to. The last time I tried to ship something to China or even Canada it cost more than $20 and that was before the tariffs. Buyer beware.

Horrible quality and making a return is…

Horrible quality and making a return is a nightmare. They will not provide a shipping label even after emailing them twice. Very difficult return policy, so I hope you love what you order!
Cheap material. Straps looked like adjustable bra straps. Will NEVER purchase again from them.

Then they asked irrelevant questions as a delaying tactic. Finally, they offered me a coupon, not a refund. I told them that would not be sufficient, and they ghosted me. Be EXTREMELY careful before you order anything from them.

SCAM

SCAM - do not order anything from them. They will collect everyone’s money and disappear in a couple of months. Horrible quality, and as in previous posts on here I got offered discount coupons, anything but give me a refund. I returned goods with tracking number and heard nothing. Radio 4 were talking about this yesterday, you receive very inferior products not like in the photos and then you can’t get a refund and unfortunately they collect your bank details at the same time. Sadly I didn’t pay on a credit card but did pay on Klarna who have told me they won’t pay them the last 2 payments until it is sorted , which it never will be. Stay away !!!

Shamfeful deceitful customer service They never delivered their order it…

They never delivered their order it just shows for months that order has been shipped but nothing happened post that ..they write mail after mail apologising but I am stil awaitng amy refund ..waste of money time a huge disappointment Sofia Rio Sebastian ...all.state the same

They are a con.

When I opened the package and saw it, I immediately put it back to the box and told them that I would return it. Immediately they offered all discounts and so on. I did not like this response, so, I returned it Registered Royal Mail and gave them tracking numbers. They said that I should trace it, and this was the last communication. Despite the item was received by them with their own signature, they kept silence. I told them to contact me twice which was completely ignored. So I contacted my credit company who acknowledged that the good was returned, by checking the website of Royal Mail, and they refunded 100 percent of the cost I paid. Although the cost £5.50 postal fee,which I have to bear, was disproportionately expensive, I am glad I sent it back this way. They are fraudrant. Do not go anywhere near them. Credit company told me that they will deduct the amount from Silksilky's a/c and will give them 45 days to appeal. Also if there are many cases like mine, their bank will stop dealings with Silksilky. So, just let your credit company know of your experience, to repel companies of this kind.
