Excellent service. Jeremy was very helpful and knowledgeable. He was able to guide us to the appropriate survey type for us and carry it out in good time. Excellent communication. Would definitely highly recommend and would use again for future moves.

I was struck with Jeremy's knowledge and efficiency from the very first phone call.

His competence was clearly evident from that first conversation (without patronising or confusing me) in addition to encyclopedic local knowledge.

His return phone call really did only take five minutes to receive and similarly he set up the survey with the estate agents very swiftly despite the logistics of lockdown.

On top of that, there was no hard sell and my options were laid out clearly.

I would be more than happy to use Sheffords if I ever have to move house again...

Extremely happy with Sheffords' service. We had a Homebuyers' Survey done on a house and it was very thorough and helpful in the buying process. We had a call afterwards to further discuss the results and it made us understand the whole situation fully. Called Sheffords after the previous surveyors I instructed were slow and uninterested.
Sheffords answered my initial enquiry within minutes and delivered a full property survey within a week which helped our purchase move quickly, highly recommended!

A very full and thorough survey of the property was carried out and this was followed up with a detailed report with helpful recommendations on how to correct the condensation problem. The report was received a day or two after the survey was completed. I was impressed by the professional and prompt service provided.

I am very happy with the party wall surveying service provided by Sheffords. They have acted for me on two development projects one involving six different Awards. I was able to communicate with Sheffords easily and on my last project it was most helpful being able to contact Ed my surveyor at short notice regarding complaints from neighbours. Ed’s detailed knowledge of the party wall Act and process allowed me to understand the constraints and freedoms of the party wall Act on the broader project.

Sheffords did a Home Report and Snagging Inspection of a new build house we plan to purchase. The reports gave good insight into the dwelling and identified many "snagging" issues that were new to us. The service provided by Sheffords was excellent, efficient and friendly. The builder has agreed to address these shortcomings over the next few weeks. Overall a very worthwhile exercise.

Recommended surveyors, i had a full structural survey. The report we got back was extemley thorough identifying potential issues with the property. Ed was also great in explaining various parts of the survey and suggesting contractors for the work needed, who so far have been good recommendations.
