Two very nice chaps run this business and are a pleasure to deal with.
Boiler service done conscientiously, efficiently and no mess.

I have just had a new Worcester oil boiler installed by Shaftesbury Plumbing and Heating. Lee and Andy were friendly, courteous and efficient, and left my property tidy. They also had to remove the old water tanks (including sorting the electrics) and redirect the oil to the new boiler.

I was very pleased with their work and would highly recommend the company. Lorraine in the office was also very helpful!

New oil fired boiler installed. Had to be in a different location to the old boiler so meant re routing pipe work and electrics. Lee and Andy did an excellent job with great attention to detail. Would certainly recommend.

We explained we have no hot water from our boiler, and booked a boiler service for the 6th Jan.
After the service we were told the flue (exhaust) was corroded and needed replacing (it's plastic and a few years old, but ok then). Questioned it and asked if this will really fix the cold water issue, to which the response was "Maybe".
Fine. The flue was fitted. I did inspect the old flue which was removed and I saw nothing wrong with it (to my untrained eye)...
Anyway, unsurprisingly the water was still cold. Which we were then told was a problem with the diverter valve assembly and this needed replacing too.
After a month of cold water since the initial service, waiting for supply of a diverter valve, on 7th Feb, I was told they couldn't source the valve and i should contact the manufacturer and sort it out myself.

So i booked another boiler service with a different plumber who said the diverter valve was actually fine, for the simple reason the water pipe leaving the boiler was boiling hot!
Hot water was mixing with cold after the boiler in a faulty mixer valve which was easily and quickly replaced.

To summarise, I feel the flue replacement was unnecessary, then waited weeks for another ultimately unnecessary part, all the while having cold showers each day and no running hot water to bathe a 1 year old baby... Then I paid another plumber for another service/diagnostic and the correct repair, which could have been done a month prior.

As always great service from a friendly team at competitive prices. Nice tidy job and cleaned up when completed. Would certainly recommend this company.

Good advice when surveying the job to quote. The old system boiler was replaced as per quotation with a combi boiler with new controls at the time agreed. Everything was left tidy and all waste removed. A pleasure to have the team working here and happy to recommend them.

We had a new oil boiler fitted. The quote process was simple and the administration team very efficient, we had a couple of quotes for comparison and Shaftesbury Plumbing and Heating were the best and most reasonable price. The 2 men who came out to complete the job were punctual, polite and tidy. We were very happy with the work done and would happily recommend the company. We will be ring them to maintain our boiler going forward.

Shaftesbury Heating and Plumbing are Quite simply the best - reliable, great value and extremely helpful. We have had a boiler fitted and are delighted. Since then we have used Shaftesbury Heating and Plumbing for our kitchen and will use them again for other work, such as fitting new radiators. Can’t recommend them enough.

I got good advice and good service throughout. The onsite team were polite and efficient, they turned up on time and worked hard to finish the job inside the time expected. I ma a very satisfied customer.

We have used Shaftesbury Plumbing & Heating several times, once to supply and fit new radiators, replace the kitchen sink and taps and again to remove an old gas boiler/water cylinder and install a Combi boiler.
