Simple, easy and reliable

I love shopping on Sellpy as usual. The filters are really helpful and save time.

Products have the most sincere description possible, with very very good prices for the quality and brands available. One of my favorite options for shopping clothes and shoes!

The have good stuff to offer.

NOT WORTH IT as a seller - between the low pricing they offer, the sales percentage they keep (up to 60%!!) and a very complicated system.

Of the 40% I get as a seller ... I still need to pay the advertising fees they claim (terrible photos and basic description, you can do better with your phone and Canva).

I sent them 2 full bags of clothes: 41 items published. Out of the 13 items sold I made a mere 30€ which actually I do not get because I have to repay them 46€ in ad fees. And if i want my items back I have to pay again to get them and I still owe them money.

UPDATE - it is even worse than I thought.
I realised they regularly decrease the prices so for an in excellent condition that retails for 16.99€:
- you start by asking 7.50€
- it is not selling so eventually it drops to the lower price possible of 3.50€
- of that 3.50€, the seller share is.... 0.20€ (laughable at best)
- of those 0.20€ you have to pay 1.20€ for add fees
So actually you did not "sell" anything at all and you owe them money.

Do you want to increase the price and keep it steady for some time? Guess what? They charge you another couple of € for that!

Want to give up and get your item back? Congratulations! You have to pay the 1.20€ ad fee per item + 5.99€ shipping!

If it doesn't sell.. they donate it to charity (hopefully) and - cherry on top - you owe them 1.20€.

I just ordered back all of my expensive items because I will get a ridiculous amount for them and the cheaper ones will never bring any revenue.

Conclusion:
Profit for me as seller: -56€. :-D
Great scheme for buyers and for Sellpy ... I'm going back to Vinted!

It’s fast and details of the conditions of the item is match!

The products themselves are excellent, and I am genuinely satisfied with the quality of what I received. However, the logistics side of the business is a major letdown for two main reasons:
Absurd Shipping Costs: The delivery fees are incredibly high, especially when compared to the actual cost of the items. It feels disproportionate and hard to justify.
Misleading "Express" Option: I paid an additional €2 for the "fast shipping" upgrade, but it was a total waste of money. The package took just as long to arrive as standard shipping.
It’s frustrating to pay a premium for a service that isn’t actually provided. While the items are good, the high costs and dishonest shipping claims make me hesitant to order again.
Note to the seller: If you offer a paid "quicker shipping" tier, it needs to actually be quicker!

Sellpy is a bit hit or miss. I’ve placed 7 orders since October 2024: sometimes you get great items for very little money, but sometimes the sizing is off. Returns are not free. I understand it’s hard to provide perfect descriptions and photos for every item at this scale, but I wouldn’t rely on it for building a whole wardrobe and expecting everything to fit.

A useful trick: use your phone’s “Circle to Search” feature to quickly get context about an item. For example, the designer, when it was released, and how much it originally cost.

Also, Sellpy is good for cheap WESC clothes $$$

The tool itself is good, easy to navigate, however payment process was unpleasant, I couldn’t use my Sellpy credits for payment with combination for PayPal or Apple. At the end I had to pay the whole amount with ApplePay.
Yesterday, I have received the goods, unfortunately some of them were really dirty, and it wasn’t written in the description.

They took everything of value and sold it elsewhere! Sold my moms Gaultier, Gucci, Vivienne Westwood, Thierry Mugler, Galliano, Fendi on Vestiaire Collective and Vinted. My daughter showed me every removed object on other sites, selling for sky high prices! How dare you?!?

I love Sellpy. For the price you get it's unbeatable.

Not great for selling expensive stuff, though; they have great trouble pricing brands fancier than Zara.

Quick shipping and accurate photos.

The products are usually very well described and the pricing is good for ladies items

I would say it’s okay, half of the stuff I bought here I am sending back… the quality of pictures sometimes really misleading as well as discription or sizes. Selling stuff was also okayish, but a lot of my things went so cheap I could have thrown them away for that prices :( in the end I keep on coming back so yes sellpy you are ok. Thanks
