Information provided by various external sources

Our modern furniture store in Boston highlights what the city does best and bridges history with modern elements. You'll find us in the renovated 1908 Sherman building, where our Design Associates are experts at pairing our contemporary furnishings with the traditional style of Boston architecture. (Boston magazine agrees and deemed us a Best of Boston Homes award winner.) Five floors of furniture and home decor make it easy to get inspiration for your own house, apartment or condo. A second-floor balcony shows our outdoor furniture and views of the city and Fenway Park. Room & Board is a furniture shopping destination for Boston tourists, students and locals alike. Our presence on Newbury Street keeps the showroom lively and inviting. We are also involved in the community and nearby colleges.

The service is sub-par

The service is sub-par. I bought a full living room worth of furniture. Talking well over 10K. The rug was going to take 4 month and the furniture about 6 weeks. I either had to wait fore everything to be ready for them to deliver or pay 2 delivery fees or choose to pick up the rug myself. I chose to pick up. Since then I have gotten three notices (purely notices not apology) pushing it out additional time. It is now out to almost 6 months before it will come in for me to pick-up. No one has reached out just automated emails. I paid in full at time of purchase. I was an honest broker and they crooks. You will get better service from Ashley and they don't give that good service either.

Thank you for sharing your experience Beth. We apologize for the continued delays in the production of your rug. Thank you for reaching out to us to discuss. As discussed last week, please give us a call once your rug has been delivered so we can discuss further accommodations.
