Very disappointing service!!!

Very disappointing service!!!

RideNow Cyprus gives a poor overall customer experience. Customer support is difficult to reach and not helpful when issues arise. The app feels outdated and inconvenient to use, while pricing and policies are not always clear or customer-friendly.

Overall, the service lacks transparency and reliability. There are better alternatives available in Cyprus. Would not recommend.

Avoid this company. Extremely poor customer experience

My experience with RideNow Cyprus was very disappointing from start to finish. Customer support is practically non-existent — there is no proper phone assistance, which means when problems happen, customers are left without immediate help or real solutions. Trying to get support is slow, frustrating, and ineffective.

The app feels outdated, unreliable, and poorly maintained. It is not user-friendly and creates unnecessary complications instead of making the service easy to use.

Pricing and policies are also unclear, with terms that seem designed more to protect the company than to help customers. Transparency is seriously lacking, and overall the experience feels unfair and one-sided.

There are many better transport alternatives in Cyprus. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend avoiding RideNow.

Very helpful app

A very well though out app, the only real alternative to taxis in Cyprus. Ridenow has cars in all cities and airports of the counttry. Its prices are reasonable and it's been of great help in times when there was no option of public transport.
Only drawback is that some of its cars (Toyota Yaris) cannot be rented between 21:00 and 06:00.

Awful customer service

Car sharing per se is a good idea, but the customer service of this company is awful. If you write to whatsapp, you will have to resend everything by e-mail, it's like the right hand does not know what the link hand is doing. They charged me 10 euros for processing fee for a car parking fine that I have paid by myself by the local municipal office here in Limassol Cyprus. Have cancelled my account and will never use them again.

Awful. Couldn’t even download the app because I have an English number.

All the advertising is in English advertising to English people in Cyprus but you can’t verify with an English number. Stupid

How can I use a car for 1hr 20 min from nicosia to ayianapa and they are charging 220 euros ordinary Nissan note
Even if it's private jet it won't cost that much terrible customer experience and service

It's a good idea of car rental but they need proper restructuring
If swearing is allowed will course them all

It’s a great idea but their customer service is awful , impossible to contact them when you need help . I have been using Ridenow for a year and I will probably stop now as I’m tired of waiting on their WhatsApp and being ignored

No response from ridenow

I loaded the ridenow app in my home country and was all set to go. Unfortunately I forgot to activate international roaming on my phone and had to buy a local sim on arrival. I have been trying to contact ridenow for nearly two weeks to see if I can change my cell number to receive one time pins but they neither answer the phone nor return numerous calls nor WhatsApp messages 29 Oct, 3 Nov,9 Nov. Mistake on my side but no assistance from them a pity I would like to use their vehicles.

Perfect app

Simple, efficient, and overall cheaper if you only need a car occasionally and not every day on the island. It's a pity that Paphos has weak coverage in Kato. The support is extremely quick and friendly. After I notified them that there was no information on what octane rating to use for fueling, they immediately adjusted it.

Amazing Customer Service, Even on Sundays!

I made a mistake using the app for the first time and ended up in debt because I didn't cancel the ride. It was my fault, but I genuinely didn't realize it.

Anyway, the Customer Support team helped me with that issue, and now I am free of debt. A big sign that there are still HUMANS behind this company and not just strange AI robots. By the way, the contact process was very easy via WhatsApp! 🚗🔝

The company policy for lost stuff is trash

Its unfortunate that you need to leave an one star review to a company that you enjoy using every day just to grab their attention, but here it is.
The company policy for lost stuff is trash. They basically give you the location of the car and thats it (which is ok if the car is at least in the same town), they dont even try to make it easier. In my case, the car had gone to Larnaca from Nicosia and i contacted support asking if there is ANY way to close the car until i got there, so i didnt have to pay 15eu or more for overbooking it (i had already used the free booking in my morning ride) also keep in mind that in my case there were two more cars nearby so they didnt have anything to lose. To tell you the truth, i would expect a better treatment as a customer that has spent thousands of euros in the app over the past year. Thank god i have friends that were able to book the car on their account until i got there, but im sure there is room for improvement on this policy or on the support team, so they have more freedom to judge and help more if possible.
