The car was really bad.
We were disappointed with the condition of the vehicle, as several issues affected our experience:
0. The car was manual, but we order automatic.
1. The car could not be locked using the remote control.
2. There was an unusual and constant noise coming from the lower part of the car while driving.
3. The tire pressure was very low, approximately 1.4–1.5 bar.
4. The airbag warning light was constantly on.
I expected the vehicle to be in proper working and safe condition, and these issues caused inconvenience during our rental period.

The rent a car company handled our request professionally. Upon arrival to Tirana last December 30 2025, we were positively surprised with the car upgrade we received.

Everything was as agreed
Everything was as agreed. The pick up area at the airport is just near the exit area, easily accessible. Handing over procedure was short and easy. Rental staff was available for any necessity.

We had an amazing rental.
The staff is very friendly, helpful, and always answered patiently all our questions.
The service was absolutely great!
They went way and beyond to help us out, and when our daughter forgot her teddybears in the hotel. They collected them at the hotel and send them to our home in Amsterdam.
Such a kind and great thing to do. It ment the world to us!
We absolutely recommend them to everyone. And if we ever travel to Albania again we will definitely book a car here!

Amazing: RentX Albania 2025
We’ve now rented from RentX Albania twice – once in 2023 and again in 2025 – and on both occasions, the experience has been flawless from start to finish. As a family of seven from New Zealand (five children aged 4 to 16), we needed a reliable, spacious and well-insured vehicle for a multi-country road trip through Albania, Montenegro, Bosnia, Croatia, Slovenia and into Italy. RentX delivered in every possible way.
From the initial enquiry to vehicle return, communication was consistently prompt, honest and helpful. The team made sure we were well-informed about every aspect of the rental, including cross-border insurance, fees, and road regulations for each country.
Cost-wise, RentX was excellent value for money, with no hidden fees, clear paperwork and a very human approach that made everything stress-free. They even partnered with Auto Zvicra, who supplied the vehicle – a collaboration that worked perfectly.
