In 2004, QuickContractors.com Inc. was founded with the intent of cleaning up and organizing the contracting industry. As a result of the high demands for skill-based services, there are too many businesses that are jumping on the contracting bandwagon looking to make a quick dollar. These so-called “fly-by-night” contractors are ruining the reputation of many established contractors and service providers as they lower consumer confidence. ...

I advise against engaging their services. I purchased a microwave from Home Depot and paid an installation fee of approximately $200. However, upon their arrival, the installers demanded an additional $85, claiming they were the sole authorized LG appliance installers in Kingston, Ontario, and refused to proceed without the extra payment. They also declined to install my dishwasher, which was purchased from The Brick. Consequently, I had to contact LG's head office to arrange for an installer from Belleville to complete both installations.

Great service

QuickContractors arrived on time, and worked quickly to get the job done. I really appreciate how Sethi A. tried to trouble-shoot when he learned I didn't have a junction box for the dishwasher. Sethi and his assistant were lovely people, who respected my house and tidied up before leaving. Recommend!

Do NOT let them in your house

Do NOT let them in your house. Their contractors caused considerable damage to my house and they refuse to take accountability and say it is my responsibility as a homeowner to take care of emergencies (the emergency that happened due to their contractors not installing an appliance properly and causing a flood to my home). DO NOT use unless you want potential thousands of dollars worth of damage to your home.

Would give 0 star if I could

Would give 0 star if I could. Don’t let these people into your home. Installer caused flooding in my basement. The installer didn’t even care, while I ran around with bowels and towels trying to save my basement ceiling. He was rude and aggressive at the end when I refused to sign the form that says I was fully satisfied with the service. I can’t believe he even had the gaul to tell me to sign it. Nope, do yourself a favour. Hire someone else.

Wrecked floors during oven install.

Company's contractors scratched up my floor during an oven install, I submitted a claim which they denied as the "scratches were too far away". Stay far far away from this sorry excuse for a business. Find literally anyone else. If I could give them 0 stars, I would.

They sent the wrong person and still charged me

I booked a diagnostic appointment with QC after giving them the make and model of my appliance. They sent someone who said they can't work on it and still charged me the diagnostic fee.

They did not offer a follow-up or a refund. I would not recommend using their services.

These poor reviews are legitimate

These poor reviews are legitimate. I bought a new hot water tank and it didn’t exactly fit into the old heater’s spot so instead of adding new pipe, they tilted the new heater back to meet the pipe. The heater is only halfway on the cement floor and the copper pipes are partially holding the heater up. They did the same thing to the vent tubing. Everything is bending and there is stress on all the connections.
I also needed to steam the carpet because they spilled rusty water everywhere.

AVOID at all costs or it will cost YOU

Do not use this company or you will be deeply regretful! This is the worst contracting company we have ever dealt with.

We had a vanity installed from Home Depot by them. The vanity was defective so it had to come out. Quick contractors ripped the drywall off my walls, put two dents in my new vinyl flooring and left a horrible mess and also didn’t cap off the main water so we had to put bowls under it.

We had to have another contractor come out after a new vanity was installed and he had to fix the drywall and put on backsplash to cover their damage. His bill was $380. After five months of arguing with quick contractors with very little response and deny deny, we had to settle for $100 refund. We could have asked for a lot more by getting our vinyl flooring replaced that was new. We also had to have the wall paint by a painter after the drywall repair. but we didnt go after that. The aggravation was not worth it.

They are the most horrendous, inexperienced company we have ever dealt with - and we have done a lot of repairs. Never again and shame on them!

Side note: I was asking one of the installers something and he couldn’t speak English so he had to let his partner answer my question. At least get people who know how to speak English. These guys had absolutely zero experience and did major damage to our bathroom. Avoid at all costs!!

Total ignoring the customer

I bought a LG fridge from Home Depot Green Field park Quebec for my 93 years old father whose right hand does not help him much. So I had to ask the Home depot sales man for change of the direction of the fridge door opening. This how it started. I paid $166+%14.975 tax for this service. September 18,2025. The fridge was delivered on September 23. September 21 someone called me to give me appointment for changing the door direction. Appointment was set for September 24 between 12pm -5pm.No one showed up! No call or any news on their side. Thursday Sep 25 I went to Home depot to find out what has happened!
Another supper helpful sales mad found out where was this job ordered to. QUICK CONTRACTORS!
with information I got from Home Depot, I called them. A quite rude receptionist came on line and told me she will investigate what has happened.
This is not a murder case! it should not take more than 2-3 phone calls to find out what has happened. Sept 26, I called back .The same rude receptionist! Telling me I can call back Saturday and I should be waiting 48 working hours for her to find out what went wrong with the not showing up at appointment. Today September 30, the customer service manger of Home Depot spent a long tome on the phone before he will be successful to talk to another receptionist giving him lame excuses for what was happening!!After a long conversations of giving excuses to Home Depot; he was finally told that they will email AIMEN " The technician" to find out when he could go do the job that he is already paid for!! that was the story!!

Helpful, quick, professional

We had a 10/10 experience with quick contractors! After ordering several new appliances, we realized that it would be much easier and cheaper to book the installations directly through Quick Contractors, rather than through the company we purchased the appliances from (almost every store in the GTA will use them).

Customer service was very helpful with walking us through the costs and setting up appointment times, and when we needed to cancel a service because of a change in our appliance delivery, they were easy to reach and simply cancelled the scheduled service and refunded us the cost.

All of the contractors were kind, clean, and on time! Shout out to Nick from Brown Gas Services who was actually able to come and install our stove a day early!

Not sure why Home Depot uses this as…

Not sure why Home Depot uses this as the contractor for installation. Even 0 is too high for them, negative 100 might be perfectly described their service.

I bought the dishwasher from Home Depot, they sent the installation guys via Quick Contractor service. Two guys came to do the very basic installation, took hours to do it, seems not even a handy man to basic home repair. They even asked to pay $100 extra for their works. After they left, we realized the machine was not properly installed, it’s not level at all, the water could coming in, but unable to go out. And also realized the put a nail 1.5” THROUGH the cup board, it can be deadly cause if kid was running around. We filed the case to Home Depot and Quick Contractor, now it’s over a month, still no one fix it yet, they just keep throwing the ball around.

NEVER use this company for NY kind of service.

Need a zero rating for this company

Need a zero rating for this company. Be forewarned, this is who Home Depot Canada uses for their installs and they don’t have your back when something goes awol. Instead, you are dealing with this ridiculous company and their insurance. So do your homework online and I suggest contract someone else to do the install before paying for the service through Home Depot. Multiple issues and damage complaints easily found online for Quick Contractors. D- BBB rating. And they are not backed fully by insurance as one would expect. Their insurance will, at best, cover part. My kitchen sustained $1002.00 worth of damage during a dishwasher install. They offered me first $100 (utterly insulting), then after fighting them for months, they offered $680 as a final offer. They refuse to reimburse the full amount of the repair. It is appalling that Home Depot uses this company. I will never buy from Home Depot again either.

Avoid Quickcontractors.com - Extremely Shady Company

I contacted the Nanaimo Home Depot Oct 21, 2024 regarding installation of a gas dryer I had recently purchased from them. I was advised that the cost for a gas dryer installation would be $209.00 plus tax (there was no mention of additional fees at this time). I paid the total amount ($234.08) and received an email inviting me to book an install appointment online with The Home Depot Authorized Installers Quickcontractors.com the same day. There was no mention of any additional fees in this email. I Received a confirmation email Oct 25, 2024 from Quickcontractors.com that my gas dryer install appointment was scheduled for Monday Nov 18, 2024 between 7am & 12pm again with no mention of any additional fees. I received a reminder email Nov 16, 2024 from Quickcontractors.com that my gas dryer install appointment was scheduled Monday morning between 7am & 12pm and once again there was no mention of any additional fees. On Monday Nov 18, 2024 I was home and had my laundry room prepared for the gas dryer install by 7am per the previous emails I had received from Quickcontractors.com. I eventually received a call at 10am from the plumbing and gas company scheduled to do the gas dryer install (3 hours into the 5 hour install window) advising me that they were leaving Nanaimo on their way to Victoria and would be at my home in an hour and a half. I advised them I live in Nanaimo and confirmed they are also located in Nanaimo. They seemed genuinely surprised that I didn’t live in Victoria and hadn’t booked a plumbing and gas company located 111.3 km from my home to install my gas dryer. Once we had established that I was in Nanaimo and they were in Nanaimo, I was told they would be over shortly. At 11am (4 hours into the 5 hour install window provided by Quickcontractors.com) I received a call from Quickcontractors.com advising me that I needed to pay $50.00 for a gas permit before the work to install my gas dryer could proceed. I advised the person I was speaking with that I had paid for the gas dryer install Oct 21, 2024. I was then told that this was an additional fee on top of the amount I had previously paid. I told the person I was speaking with there is no way they didn’t know they needed a gas permit to do gas work and I said that considering Quickcontractors.com whole business appears to be scheduling this type of work it was ridiculous, unprofessional and super shady to call a customer up on the day of install after making them wait around for four hours and demanding more money from them. I was then put on hold while the person I was speaking with consulted with their manager. They returned to the call and advised me that their manager had told them either I pay the additional fee right now or the plumbing and gas company would skip my appointment and go on to the next one. I told them I was not going to pay an additional fee and stated that I wanted my money back. The person I was speaking with advised me to contact Home Depot for a refund and the call was ended. This company is extremely unprofessional, incompetent and shady. I would advise anyone considering dealing with them to exercise caution and I am surprised and disappointed that Home Depot is comfortable being associated with them.
