We desparetely needed some spare parts to complete a project for a local authority. The team at Outdoor Playhouses dealt with our enquiry swiftly and delivered the parts within two days. PERFECT!

The order was never delivered. Outdoor Playhouses shipped the play frame, I waited over a week for the courier company to say it was too big to deliver! Very strange as outdoor playhouses said this has never happened before. But also I was just given a refund rather than them re-arranging the delivery with another company, so im am disappointed.

The roof did not fit with out buying more timber and one long piece was missing had to buy but with that looks good and sturdy now up was fast delivery

Bought a tree house / hut and the quality was good, instructions could have been a touch better (for a competent DIYer), deliver was quick post order and customer service very responsive.

I note there’s a number of reviews focussed on price. I strongly recommend you wait for a sale as then value is much better / higher.

Delivery drive was friendly and his puppy was really sweet

Delivered In Full (almost) and On Time. Delivery driver went over and above to place the equipment in my driveway from a narrow and busy street. The playground went together reasonably well but unfortunately a couple of small timber components were missing. Overall the playground is well designed and very sturdy!

Spent nearly £700 on a Berlin playhouse. It was a lovely design, but assembly came with a lot of problems. Some were small (no staples in the instruction booklet meant a gust of wind blew pages apart), some much bigger:

- The design of the playhouse had a staggered front, this meant that the roof pulled open at one end when assembling. We had to install our own brackets to hold the two sides of the roof together, and put in a central beam to hold the panels in place.

- The shutters for the windows simply weren't big enough for the holes, so we had to put in extra panelling within the window frame to make it work. It almost felt like they'd sent the wrong shutters.

- The door was also too small for the frame, so we had to install an extra bit of lintel so we could hang it. Again, we wondered if we'd been sent the wrong door.

- Lots of the small wooden pieces split while screwing together, meaning we had to replace some, and repair others. We worked around this by pre-drilling some holes, but the instructions clearly state that no drill should be necessary.

- The "latches" for the shutters were just little offcuts of wood that you're expected to screw in halfway. For such an expensive kit, it could have included a metal hoop latch or similar.

- The job claimed to be a 2 person, 4 hour job. We aren't expert carpenters, but we have a bit of nouse - it took us around 8-10 hours with help from a 3rd person at times.

- It is a shame that we had to buy the roof felt as extra. This is pretty essential if you're in a country that experiences precipitation.

The seller has replied, suggesting they could have rectified some of these problems. Unfortunately this just isn't convenient - we took time off work to do this and waiting for solutions to problems we shouldn't have existed in the first place would have meant leaving the house partly constructed, without a roof and exposed to the elements. Not really practical. It's just a shame that we paid a premium price for a sub-par finish.

The playhouse design is still lovely and it arrived quickly, hence this isn't one star, but I wouldn't choose this company again.

Really lovely playhouse, and the kids are SO happy with the result.

It was a lot of work though, and definitely not for beginners. Nothing was pre-drilled (which I would
honestly have expected for the price), so there was a lots of measuring, and it would have been very easy to make a mistake as the instructions weren't very clear.

Unless you're VERY confident with DIY - I'd consider hiring a TaskRabbit for this, as it could be very overwhelming for someone who was expecting difficulty similar to "standard" flat pack furniture.

The end result is great though, and it will surely last for many years to come if we take care of it.

The reason this review is 5 stars and (I didn't knock any off for the lack of pre-drilled holes etc) is because the service from Outdoor Playhouses was exceptional and they were incredibly responsive to all my questions and queries. The owner organised fast shipping, and went out of his way to make sure we had it in time for our deadline. Would happily order from them again.

Good prompt service and delivery - happy with the quality of the XL playhouse - a minor issue it would be great to have all the different screws in separate bags - my Grand Children love it.

The delivery was very well coordinated, speedy and communication was excellent. The playhouse is beautiful and at the same time very sturdy and solid and the swings and slides are great and well built and will provide my grandchildren with many hours of fun and imaginative play. The instructions were good and it took about 3 days to build up the playhouse and the separate swing and slide unit. I am very happy and can highly recommend.

Highly recommend Billy and his team at Outdoor Playhouses. From start to finish, the entire process was smooth and enjoyable. The playhouse is so much fun and my boys have already spent many hours outside playing in it.

Bought a big monkey wooden play tower with slide house for my little man and put it up last weekend he's not stopped playing on it all week!!

Took 4 hours to build with my old man once we got the gist of what goes with what it all went together quickly!

We found outdoor playhouses had a great choice to choose from. The website was easy to use and delivery was prompt. Customer support answered all of our queries and as a result our children have a great outdoor space in which to thrive. Highly recommend.
