While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

autorenewing

I tried to live chat as no phone number but was told I was 17th in queue!
I emailed- no reply.
I tried chat again- In the first minute of agent-chat, I asked for my autorenewal to be cancelled.
It took Ed, agent, 27 mins of prevarication before this was confirmed as being cancelled.
17th in a queue, nearly half an hour to get above cancelled is not good enough.
Very poor customerservice.
I would not recommend

NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT WHATSOEVER

Following receipt of my wife's car insurance renewal, we made repeated attempts to contact One Click to instruct them to cancel the policy from the renewal date and also ensure that the auto-renew facility was not implemented. We wasted several days trying to provide the information via their 'portal', which is the only method available to communicate with this company. In essence, the 'portal' system is completely useless because it either doesn't function at all or it places customers in long endless queues. The decision to cancel the policy was made following receipt of the renewal invitation, however, the portal confirmed that it was not possible to cancel the auto-renew function during the renewal period. This, in our opinion, is the exact point in the process when a customer would want to cancel.
This company make it virtually impossible for customers to provide important instructions.
Our experience with this company's poor customer service highlights the importance of giving consideration to customer reviews. How a company interacts with its customers is as important as securing a competitive premium. One Click definitely don't understand this concept. Deal with this firm at your peril. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED..

The Worst

The worst. I couldn't switch my car insurance online. Told me to go on webchat which wasn't available at that time. Tried later and was 1st in queue but still had to wait 15 mins. Because of this, I cancelled my insurance and went with another company. Hen I get proof of my no claims bonus with nothing written in the figures. Just backs up my opinion of them. Let's hope my refund gets processed properly.
