Justine was flexible

Justine was flexible. There were changes to my circumstances since my last meeting. So she listened patiently, adjusted my profile and a fresh recommendations were created for me to review. Really worth the time.

My funds were transferred from a Virgin…

My funds were transferred from a Virgin Investment ISA to a similar Octopus account afew months ago.Perfotmance pretty ordinary and try getting all your money out in one go !!!!
I wish I had read some of the 1 Star Reviews before I permitted the transfer to this bunch of Trumps !

Super friendly, attentive and knowledgeable team!

Puja and the Octopus Money team were super friendly, attentive and knowledgeable when dealing with my mortgage. Puja helped me through the whole process, answered all my burning questions and really thoroughly educated me at each step. She also went out of her way to offer guidance during the negotiation and application stages which left me in such a stronger position.

Couldn't recommend Puja and the OM team enough - thanks so much - it's been great working with you!

From the moment Octopus took over…

From the moment Octopus took over Virgin Money, the process of access and communications has been rock bottom

If you live overseas without a UK mobile number, you are shafted. Email CS - call us - umm 7 hours time difference plus costly call fees to sit on hold? No Thanks. Eventually they promised to call me - which they did eventually at 3 am while I was asleep and missed the call.

Nect, buy a viritual UK mobile number (not too bad per year - but still a cast) - signed in, accessed the account then signed out

Tried to sign in 3/4 hours later and blocked - we need to check some information - please call the UK...... oh dear.

Customer service is dire at best. Emails asking for feedback on how they did? pass.

Responsive and easy to work with

The people I have dealt with at Octopus have been responsive, easy to talk to and clear to understand. My financial forecast with Ben Atherton provided me with a lot of reassurance around financial planning, plus some helpful tips. My mortgage consultant, Puja Hathi worked to tight deadlines to help me secure the rate I wanted and was friendly and helpful.

Remortgage

From start to finish, Puja kept us up to date with progress, reassuring and professional. Having been on a substandard mortgage before, the move to a high street lender at half the rate we were paying was very welcome.

Octopus Money - avoid at costs! You have been warned.

After being hopelessly mismanaged by Virgin Money my pension fund was transferred to Octopus money. Unfotunately they appear to be equally incompetent. The fund has dropped £12,000 in a month! Who would have thought that a war would result in stocks falling - not this lot obviously.

I have quite a complex financial set up and with rates shooting back up and my fixed term coming to an end its all been rather unnerving. Stress free remortgage with a personal touch

Puja has been a star at arranging our remortgage. She's been really helpful in explaining and modeling out our different options. We were really stressed about our remortgage as rates are very volatile at the moment. Puja has helped alleviate any stress, made sure things moved really fast with our application and has been super responsive to any queries we had. I highly recommend Puja and Octopus Money for any mortgage needs!
