Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Looking at 499 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers were dissatisfied with the products, finding that items received did not match the descriptions or images on the website. People frequently reported poor quality and incorrect sizing, with garments often being much smaller than expected or made from cheap materials. Reviewers also encountered significant issues with the return and refund processes. Consumers found it difficult to return items, often being asked to send them back to China at their own expense, which could be more costly than the item itself. Many were offered only partial refunds or store credit, and some struggled to receive any refund at all, even after returning items.

Update on my refund

I have already done a review back in March about this shambles of a company. But I just wanted to give a little update on my returned item. It arrived in Chinese customs on the 7th January. It was finally released on the 18th April and yes of course it was marked as incorrect documentation. Now I work in the Post Office and I am quite capable of completing a simple customs form. This is obviously another ruse so they dont have to issue a refund. So up to now I am still waiting for it to come back, just so I can throw it in the bin. Please dont buy from them.

I bought one of their bags with various motifs. Well, the picture was amazing but when I received the bag, its plastic and cheap looking and nothing like the picture. A real scam for a lot of money. I feel so disappointed! .

Think this is not legit company

I ordered a great looking long coat 10th March. I keept chasing as the order didnt arrive, and was told that it was returned to sender due unsuccessful delivery multiple times. Not true as we have cameras and no attempt was made. Then I was told new order is on its way but was advised to speak to their nominated courier to check status. When I did I was told item was sent back again for the same reason. I emailed them again. No response. So I raised this with my credit card company. I also showed the emails I received to my more tech savy friends - they indicated few things which strongly points to AI generated responses. Then I found item delivered today - not remotely resembling what I paid for cheap, nasty I would say overall that people might wear whilst working ourside in the garden. No receipt inside. I wish I read reviews before ordering from them.

DO NOT GO NEAR THIS BUSINESS

Whatever you do, do not go near this business!! They should be called Mova China. All the goods are shipped from China and can take up to a month to arrive.
I had to send a pair of trainers back at the beginning of January and they provided the address in China at my expense. Goods are still sitting in customs in China 3 months. I can do nothing to get them released, I sent them via Royal Mail and Mova are simply refusing to assist me in getting them to their factory in China.
USE A CREDIT CARD FOR PURCHASE FOR PROTECTION, LUCKILY I DID!! AVOID THESE PEOPLE

What a load of rubbish, do not buy from this company!

Horrendous

Ordered a dress believing this to come from a legit London company. Dress did not arrive for more than a month after ordering of which was way too late for event. I have repeated tried to return item for a refund. It’s unopened and k just want my money back and this company is simply avoiding allowing me to do so or giving me my money back. Just constantly offering me discount or free items from their website which I do r want. Do not order I’ve spent longer trying to return this than I did looking for a dress!

Avoid at All Costs – Poor Quality, No Accountability, No Refund

I would strongly advise others to think twice before purchasing from this company due to my extremely poor experience — both with the product quality and the return process.

Firstly, the quality of the item itself was very disappointing. It did not meet expectations and felt poorly made, which is the reason I initiated the return in the first place.

I then followed their return instructions exactly as provided and even paid for the return shipping myself — something most reputable retailers typically cover, especially when an item is unsuitable or of poor quality. The return address provided was in China, and crucially, it included no contact name, phone number, or email address.

Months later, the parcel is still stuck in customs, now marked as a “dutiable item, waiting for payment.” This should not happen for a clearly declared customer return, which strongly suggests that the customs declaration was either incorrect or incomplete. The lack of recipient contact details provided by the company may also have contributed to the delay.

Despite confirming as early as February that the parcel was with customs, the company has taken no proactive action to resolve the issue. Every update I have received has only come after I chased them. There has been no evidence of them contacting customs, no meaningful support, and no ownership of the problem.

They are now shifting responsibility to the courier (Royal Mail), stating that only the courier can deal with customs — despite the fact that I followed their exact return process and instructions. This leaves me, the customer, dealing with a situation likely caused by inadequate return guidance.

To make matters worse, the phone number listed on their website is not even recognised, making direct communication difficult.

Instead of properly resolving the issue or issuing a full refund, they have offered a partial refund (20%) and store credit (50%), which is not an acceptable resolution given the circumstances.

Overall, this has been a very frustrating and time-consuming experience with:

Very poor product quality
Poor and incomplete return instructions
Lack of accountability
No proactive communication
Delays with no resolution
No proper refund

I would not recommend purchasing from this company, especially if there is any chance you may need to return an item.

1 star is to good for this company but…

1 star is to good for this company but sadly I cant rate no stars. I ordered a jumper for my husband for Christmas, it came and it was nothing like what was advertised. I sent it back on the 23rd December and paid special delivery so I could keep an eye on it and in time would be guaranteed my refund. I ended up paying £75 for the jumper and special delivery to safely get it back to the company. I knew during the Christmas period it may take a little longer to be sent back but I was happy to wait. I've had no update since the 30th December where apparently it was in China (not London) and at the depot in the town it was sent from. It's now April and after many emails back and forth with this company i have had nothing and their not willing to do any check ups on where the jumper might be and why it is taking so long to get through customs, apparently this is down to me. I've wasted money on special delivery and I'm out of pocket for the jumper I don't have anymore. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY, their scammers and extremely untrusting, they also give a bad name to other online companies that are legit and trying to make a decent name for themselves.

Mova London has nothing to do with London. Or the UK. Or Europe.

They call themselves Mova London, have UK and European contact details on the website... but EVERYTHING is sent from China. If you want to return something, you have to send it back to China (ZERO mention of this in returns policy) and they will do everything to make this as difficult as possible.

My returns package has been "stuck in customs" for a month, and I suspect it'll stay there. So I lose the money from the goods AND the money I paid to return the goods.

Stay away from this company.

This company should be treated as a…

This company should be treated as a scam website. While they deliver goods, the quality is not what is advertised. And when you need a refund which appears to be the case with 99% of their orders, the refund process will cost you MORE money and will NEVER be resolved. I believe the company abandons all returns at customs in a bid to keep your original purchase funds because returned goods are never ‘received’. This is unethical practice and likely intentional manipulation of their legal obligations. Avoid these dishonest suppliers

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE

Honestly AVOID. If I could give it zero stars. Ordered two jackets before Xmas setting me back £100 as I thought it was a London based company. It is not - it’s in China. Both jackets were HORRENDOUS quality. Cost me £30 to return. Packages got stuck at customs for two months (with courier stating they would get in touch with receiver if an issue) and following several emails, after the last email I received saying ‘there was probably an issue with the product hence why it wasn’t being processed’ it is magically being ‘returned to sender’ all of a sudden. They are a scamming, thieving disgrace of a company and I wish I had read the reviews before replying.

AVOID MOVA LONDON

AVOID MOVA LONDON! Poor quality and did not match the description online. When I tried to return it, the seller provided an incorrect return address online, making the process frustrating and inconvenient. This experience has reduced my trust in the seller and their customer service reliability. The company is registered as London but they are in CHINA. They are SCAMMERS!

If I could use "0" stars I would

1) Not MOVA London, it's MOVA China
2) They use photos of clothes from other websites
3) A dress I ordered looked nothing like the online picture of what I was meant to be buying.
4) Cheap fabric
5) Impossible to return, don't even bother, I was money sending my item back after approx 15 emails
6) They deserve "0" stars
