Fantastic product along with exceptional customer service.
Good products and customer support
I ordered two items in a bundle. One was great, the other had a little manufacturing fault. However I contacted customer support and they helped me really quickly and clearly. Little mistakes can happen, that's fine, but the way that it was dealt with, is what makes it great :)

Disappointed - leaked within 20 mins
I wanted to leave this review to help other girls out. I bought Modibodi swimwear hoping it would give me confidence to swim on my period — and at first, it did. Unfortunately, within the first 20 minutes of wearing it, I leaked onto a white towel, which was really disappointing and not what I expected. For reference, I bought the super absorbency pair for medium to heavy days.
Delivery was actually great — it arrived quicker than the estimated time on the website. However, I’m still waiting for a refund on one of the pairs I returned (I ordered two sizes to be safe as I didn’t know what size would fit). I did get a refund for the pair that didn’t work, and I can’t fault the customer service experience for the issue, but the other one is still pending.
Overall, I really wanted to love this product, but based on my experience, I wouldn’t rely on their swimwear for swimming during your period. This review is not to shame the customer service or anything as it’s been great, but just a warning to other girls as it can be quite embarrassing!
Great customer service
We come in different shapes and sizes
We come in different shapes and sizes, so there is plenty on offer here, also different flows for our needs. Partnered with great customer service and tracking. I will be recommending; ladies, it's definitely worth a try. I'm glad I did!
Quality issues
bought 10 pairs of period underware during the last 5ish years. I have loved them and recommended them to so many people since as they're really comfortable and have great design and seamless versions. However, they dont last long. To be fair issues startede after approximately 2 years, but For £26/pair I would expect them to last many years, particularly as they're only worn once each per month. The biggest issue is that holes appear in the gusset, despite me following all the care instructions. First time i thought it was bad luck but now the same have happend with new ones i bought. Also the eages of the seamless pairs have riped on many of the pairs - the glue is dissolving.
On some of the newer pairs the gusset feels more bulky too.
I'm sorry, but I cannot recommend modibodi any more.
First time i experienced problems i was i contact with custom service.
I was only offered a discount on a new buy. A discount that could not cover replacement . I was very disappointed.

It was the first time I had ordered with Modibodi and everything went smoothly. Im enjoying the freedom of wearing the product . I especially appreciated the support I received with ordering again as I need more coverage. Thank you, I'm 80 years old and don't want to use pads so am experimenting which product is the most comfortable and effective.
Great customer service
The products are great and when I had an issue with incorrect fit, customer service was excellent. A very prompt, helpful and friendly reply and the 100% guarantee was honoured. I was very happy with the service I received, thank you!
Quality is not what it used to be
I've been using Modibodi underwear for years now. I loved them and never had any issues. I needed to replace a few pairs after so much wear, so I bought new ones. The material felt different, but I didn't think much of it. Also, despite being heavy/overnight, the gusset didn't go all the way up the front (figured, okay, fine, I won't wear them at night when I move a lot). First day of wearing the new ones, and I had leaks after just a few hours! Luckily, I was at home and could easily change both the underwear and my clothing. I'm very disappointed as I bought 5 pairs of these.
Disappointing
So dissappointed! If you think of buying, don’t. I have purchased a swimwear and bundle of basic undies. Swimsuit is made for a shorter person than me and underwear also doesn’t sit well, even though I have ordered it in my regular size. The return policy is so poor, even for a swimsuit! What do I do with it if it doesn’t sit? At least these kinds of items should have hygienic protection and be eligible for return. I am so disappointed that I have ever bothered to try this brand, when there are so many other options. Do not recommend

Needed help with a faulty product and they did not reply to my multiple emails. They did reply when they saw my review and only vaguely acknowledged the issue and lack of response after seeing I had left a less than complimentary honest review. The intent was not to resolve my issue, but make the negative review go away. They just deleted it!

Zwakke stof
Response: OK, so for one, this didn't just happen. The fabric has been torn for a while, I just didn't think of posting on Trustpilot before. And for another, I use a cup and only use the underwear as a back-up. Which means I use them once a month: 12x2=24 washes. And I quote from the Modibodi website: "Even though our period undies are tested to last over 100 washes, there are things you can do to help make them last even longer." 24 is nowhere near 100.

Modibodi are trustworthy and helpful.
Having previously purchased some Modibodi products from a local store I went online to purchase more products. I had a problem with my bank duplicating the withdrawal. Modibodi support were very helpful and patient while this was resolved. They kept my purchases until I let them know it was sorted out, then the products arrived very quickly.

Follow-up on defective Modibodi items – Request for resolution
Dear Modibodi team,
Thank you for your response to my first review. At first, your customer service team engaged with my claim: I sent my order details and was led to believe the matter was being handled. However, once it became clear that my purchase was made through Modibodi’s official distributor in Spain (something I said in the very first sentence of my review), the responsibility was abruptly passed on and Modibodi Global declined to intervene.
To be precise, I purchased six Modibodi products in total. I am very satisfied with two of them (the lace briefs), which perform as promised. Unfortunately, the four seamless items have proven defective: after only 25 washes — all following the care instructions — the fabric began to tear and lose integrity. This is far below the 100+ washes Modibodi advertises.
I also offered a reasonable compromise: I did not request the same defective model again, but instead suggested a replacement with another style, even if it meant receiving fewer items or covering a small price difference myself. That proposal has been ignored.
It is not acceptable for Modibodi Global to appear helpful at first but then withdraw support once a regional distributor is mentioned. Customers buy into the Modibodi brand and its promises, regardless of the local channel, and expect the parent company to ensure accountability. The current situation leaves me without a solution and undermines confidence in both the seamless line and the brand’s customer care.
I kindly ask Modibodi to take responsibility and provide a proper resolution. Without this, I regret that my negative experience will remain as a warning to other consumers.

Leaked immediately
This September, I booked a beach holiday for the first time in years. Needless to say, I was very excited. When I realised I would get my period on the dates of my holiday, I started looking for 'reputable' period swimwear companies. Modibodi seemed like the best option, so I bit the bullet and bought two pairs of period swimwear bottoms.
The issues started right away. I'm between a size S and M, so I figured I would follow the sizing chart on Modibodi's website. I took all of my measurements as directed, and to my surprise, was identified as a size M/L. I figured it was better to stay on the snug side, so I ordered a size M on both bottoms.
When the bikini bottoms were delivered, size M was WAY too big. So I re-ordered a size S in both, and processed a return for the size Ms. Here's the kicker: because I unknowingly reordered *before* I returned, Modibodi treated me like a regular return customer and charged me for the return. Whereas if you reorder *after* you return, you get free returns and £5 credit. I wasn't even after the credit - just figured I should be eligible for a free return given my reason for returning was THEIR incorrect sizing, and I still wanted the swimwear, just in correct sizing! But no, customer service did nothing to help, and I was still charged for the return.
Still. I figured they may just have issues with customer service, but that ultimately it would be worth it to have good period swimwear. And I packed the bikini bottoms and went on holiday.
I prepared the swimwear exactly as recommended on the website: I washed it on a cold gentle cycle before wearing it. I didn't use any softener or chemical detergent. I then hung it dry.
On the first day of my period, which is usually heavier, I tried the Swimwear Short Super, which claims to hold up to 50 ml/10 tampons. But within the first hour of wearing it, even before I had made it into the sea, it had already leaked an embarrassing amount, leaving stains on both the towel and the sunbed. Knowing my cycle, it's impossible for me to have bled 10 tampons' worth in the first hour.
I thought this might have been due to the weird design of the swimwear short, which doesn't seem to 'seal' itself very well on the sides (even though the size S short now 'fit' by all measures), so on a lighter day, I also tried the Swimwear Bikini Bottom Light, which 'sealed' itself on the sides a bit better. The Swimwear Bikini Bottom Light claims to hold up to 4 tampons/20mls. Even on a heavy day, it would take me a while to bleed 4 tampons' worth. But within several hours of my light day, this one had also leaked.
What's the point of period swimwear if it's just going to leak before you even make it into the water?
Upon my return, I got in touch with Modibodi customer support to explain my experience to them and offer them a chance to make things right. They said that upon checking, there were no similar issues reported under this batch (even though many other people on Trustpilot seem to have experienced leaks with their swimwear, just perhaps not this specific batch yet), and that as a onetime courtesy they could only offer me store credit for 1 pair. Which is useless, because I have no reason to buy Modibodi swimwear again - I just don't trust them anymore.
Needless to say, I've been left very frustrated with this experience. I wish I had gone for any cheaper brand because at least then I wouldn't have wasted the money.
EDIT: despite the 'helpful' response here, I haven't actually been offered a solution beyond 1 store credit.
