I have purchased plastic model kits from this company for many years. Only once have I had an issue, when the stock status was incorrect. Hey, things happen, I understand. The deals used to be better, but are sometimes good enough.

AVOID BUYING FROM MODEL EXPO 11/28/25 BOUGHT THE BLUENOSE 1921 FULL KIT WITH PAIN AND SOME TOOLS, TOTAL SPENT $474.00 AFTER ASKING TO REPLACE PART THAT WAS LASER BURN EXTENSIVELY, THEY ACCEPT TO REPLACE PARTS, BUT THE ISSUE IS THEY DONT SHIP THE PARTS ?? EXCHANGE 10 E-MAILS OVER LAST MONTH ASKING FOR CONFIRMATION OF SHIPMENT, ALWAYS SAME ANSWER, NOT SHIP YET WILL CHECK AND ADVISE YOU, GUEST WHAT THEY NEVER ADVISE YOU !! AS TODAY 1/24/26 I STILL HAVE NO ANSWER, NO SHIPMENT, THIS PLACE IS A JOKE, A SCAM, AND UNPROFESSIONAL AVOID BUYING FROM MODEL EXPO

Missing parts. When called they seemed to respond pretty fast but did not send all the missing parts. Now they won't respond at all. This was a horrible experience.

Ordered parts on Dec 29 and they charged my credit card, follow up on 1/8 (10 days later) said they just finished inventory and would expedite. Follow up 1/14, no reply, follow up 1/15, no reply, got a call 1/16 and they said it was back ordered. But it was not back ordered when I ordered, took them 18 days to tell me, but they had charged my card on day I ordered. Told them to cancel and credit my card, 9 days later, no credit. They can charge you the day you order (for parts they do not have), but cannot credit the card after 9 days. They have also stopped responding to all of my inquiries.
