Poor customer relationship
We bought a luxury bed for 1000€ last month, then we went to buy a mattress for 1100€ more, and we saw that they now propose at -15% offer if you buy them together.
So we gently asked if we could get a discount on the mattress, at least half of the 15%, since this would be a good order in total, 2100€.
The answer was that the offer was only for the clients that bought both together once.
They propsed us a 5% voucher valable on the decoration section.
We were asking 7.5% voucher, so arround 400lei, they denied for a difference of 125lei... and at the end, this would not cost them 125lei, since they have a good margin on decoration stuff..
Honestly, we didn't care about the price, we would bought the mattress anyway without the offer, but the way that they denied this to us was not worthy of a customer relationship.
If you want to please your client, you don't do this, especially when you sell for 2100€ of stuff, and denied to grant at 80€ voucher to a client, when this client could got more than double if he just bought the bed couple of weeks after..
What have no sense, is that we could bough a cheap bed, at 200€, and we would got it free with this 15% offer, to sell it after, and get more money back.
Why take the risk to lose a customer this way ? This have no sense. We bought a lot of to them before.
One client before me had some issues too, and asked for the manager to come, he came with the security with him... this resume the overall spirit.
