The material is good, service is terrible

The material is good, but the process of buying and accessing any purchased products is kind of a nightmare. There is a bigger learning curve than there should be to using their website. The website is so confusing I accidentally bought the wrong product. That wrong product cost $200, when I realized I bought the wrong one I asked if I could exchange it for the correct one and they denied me. I've had a pretty negative experience with them.

Scammed - Useless customer support, wasted test results

I legally changed my name, and MBA.com customer support has been completely useless in helping me update my score reports. I contacted customer support over 30 times over the course of a month, and they kept transferring me between departments, with not a single one solving my problem. They outsourced their customer support entirely and the workers have no grasp on how to solve even basic issues, failing to even understand my problem. For a $275 test, GMAT skimps on providing basic services to its customers. My money was wasted and my top test score is unusable. Take the GRE - the GMAT is a waste of time and money.

Technical Difficulties but helpful proctors

Overall I had a good experience. on my first attempt I had some technical difficulties on the Writing section because the proctor blocked my keyboard (accidentally I guess) but helped me right away. On my 2nd attempt I had like 3 power outages and it disconnected me from my test. They called me immediately so I could connect again, and the proctor was very patient! I just had to do the room inspection every time I disconnected, (Understandable) and he told me that if I disconnected again I would have to contact the GMAT support center (understandable too)

Horrible experience

Couldn't write my online exam due to technical difficulties. Was promised that i would be able to reschedule within 72 hours after my "incomplete" exam but nothing has happened. The customer service support wasn't helpful either.

Worst company ever

Worst company ever. Their customer service is the worse I have ever seen.
I sat the GMAT a week ago, was not able to complete it due to a technical error, and have been trying to reach out to them for a week, but to no avail.
Still trying to be able to get a refund and sit the GMAT soon.

All I can say is don't do the GMAT, do the GRE instead.

Near impossible CS

First of all I have a technical error when writing the GMAT the first time leading to me having less time for the exam. But the worst part was trying to get compensation and booking a new exam. It took over 3 weeks email to get a rebate then being forced to schedule the next exam by calling them in England I live and took the exam in Sweden. I have as of writing this spent over 100 minutes in call with them to book the exam, shameful customer service. All of this could have been avoided if they simply gave a coupon code which could have been redeemed at check out when they hade admitted to the error.

This Company's service model is bad for consumers.

I have never experienced such horrible and backwards business practices from a service provider in my life. The GMAT cost $200 to schedule. I wanted to move my test one day to accommodate my work schedule, and they were going to charge me an additional $165. I was so upset that I tried to cancel. However, cancelling cost an extra $15 and there is no refund as per the website. I called the operator and asked if it would be cheaper to not show up at all rather than cancel because "cancelling" cost an extra $15 (again, no refund). The operator said yes. The operator then tried to charge me $10 for asking that question. If you are reading this - stay away from MBA.com.

My scores were not sent to anyone

My scores were not sent to anyone. Score was ready after one day but had received a message upon completion of exam indicating it would be 7-10 days. Logged in 6 days later to find out my score was ready and the time for free score to be sent was expired. They were to send it to the institution listed but they failed. After numerous attempts to consolidate no one reached back out. I am paying for my score to be sent in and will be an additional $35 charge. Seems unethical on my part for bad review but again my score was not shared ONCE. They promise a free score delivery to 5 schools but again no one received my score. I called and I always get someone that I cannot understand due to their accent. I would also give a 0 if I could. Horrible service for $300 exam.

1 star because I can't give 0

1 star because I can't give 0. By far the worst customer support I have had. All I wanted was to send the GMAT score report to a University, a little summary of what happened:
- 4 weeks in total
- 2 customer forms that no one replied to
- 5 emails to GMATCandidateServicesEMEA that no one replied to
- 5 calls of more than 2 hours in total just waiting from waiting line to waiting line, and some would fall after 20 mins (had to start over)
- Staff is not proficient in English which makes the calls incredibly frustrating with a lot of misunderstandings
- A fee payment of 43 USD and score report was sent to code called GEMBA instead of MBA
- Another fee payment of 43 USD to correct the first error
Stay away from this, do the GRE instead

Most horrendous website + customer service imaginable

Had such a horrible with mba.com. I re-instated a previously cancelled exam and wanted to order an additional score report. Guess what, there's NO option on the website to do that. Spent an hour 40+ mins with customer service, and was hung up on twice, with no help whatsoever.
Such a horrible company for the amount of money they charge. After all, what'd you expect from a monopoly?

They are awful

They are awful! First, I tried to reschedule online and it didn't let me because 'the tax mount or country/region is different from the original registration' which is not true because I used the exact same credit card. They prompted me to call customer service and the first time, I was transferred multiple times and then hung up on. The second time, the agent on the line had such a strong accent that I didn't understand anything and she had to repeat herself multiple times and was completely confused. It took me 1. 5 hours (!!) to solve my problem which wasn't even my fault and I was told multiple times I would be connected to the payment line and then it didn't happen. When I finally got there, they wanted to charge me a customer service even though the online rescheduling simply didn't work. THEN they put me on hold for 15min to get back to me to tell me that they have to cancel the exam WITHOUT a full refund and I would have to reschedule because the 'tax amount is not the same'. So I would have had to pay for TWO exams just because they have technical issues on their website?? I had to ask for a supervisor before I was was granted a free cancellation of my previous appointment minus the rescheduling fee and to get a new appointment.

It's sad that customer service of a test that is meant to measure your verbal and logic skills has customer agents who themselves don't even speak proper English and don't understand your questions. For such an expensive test, you would expect better customer service.

1 hr 23 mins on hold !!!

Horrible customer service. First of all, most of they have a very thick Indian accent, which can be very difficult to understand. Phone service takes forever. I called the Europian customer service, and they disconnected the call in the middle of the conversation after because it was closing time!

I called the North American customer service, they put me on hold for 60 minutes, because the agent was waiting for her supervisor to help her and her supervisor was busy helping other candidates.
