Out of pocket and no clothing!!

I have ordered from this brand a few times now, and there’s been huge delays receiving my products each time.

When I placed my most recent order, their website specified a dispatch time of 1-3 days. I am metro Melbourne and needed the top for an event. Having said this, I allowed much more time for the item to be received (to be safe).

The event came and went, without the item even having been dispatched. It’s extremely misleading to say something will be posted within a certain timeframe, when in reality, that timeframe was tripled. I’m on my 19th business day of waiting for the item, and Aus Post now can’t locate the item.

Instead of replacing the item, or apologising, or letting me cancel it, or offering to refund, I’ve been met with complete deflecting (it’s not their issue, it’s Australia Post who is to blame I’m told…. Even though the in-stock item wasn’t dispatch from their end for weeks).

I have well and truly learned my lesson now, as I’m out of pocket and without my item. Despite numerous attempts to check on the status of this order, and communicate my frustrations… I am met with silence or an unhelpful response that shows no care or concern.

I just want a refund and to be done with it. However all they’ve been able to offer is 30% off my next order. The nerve to assume I’d be ordering again after so many poor experiences!!

I hate doing bad reviews publicly, but this is a process for buyers to be aware of. No responsibility has been taken and the issue drags on.

I Bought Jeans, Not a Part-Time Job

I ordered a matching jacket and jeans set from Lioness.

The jeans arrived with marks all over them.

Simple enough, right? Report the fault, return the item, get a refund.

Wrong.

What followed was less customer service and more administrative hostage situation.

Over six weeks later, I've experienced:

defective goods,
conflicting return instructions,
return portal issues,
Australia Post investigations,
approximately 47 versions of "we understand your frustration",
and what feels like an Olympic-level avoidance of the actual problem.

The actual problem being: YOU SENT ME FAULTY PANTS.

The jeans arrived defective. Lioness acknowledged they arrived defective. Yet somehow I've ended up trapped in a bureaucratic escape room where every clue leads to another email and nobody seems authorised to solve the issue.

At this point, I genuinely don't know if anyone is reading the full email chain or if my emails are being fed into an AI blender and spat back out as:

"Thank you for your patience."

Respectfully, I have run out of patience.

Today's activity involved tracking down senior management because apparently customer service's strategy is to keep forwarding the issue around until either the parcel, the customer, or the will to live disappears.

My next stop is the Office of Fair Trading.

If you're looking for jeans, I'd recommend buying a pair from literally anywhere else. If you're looking for a six-week case study in how a straightforward faulty item claim can spiral into a full-time administrative commitment, Lioness has you covered.

The pants were defective.

The customer service experience was somehow worse.

DID NOT SHIP THE ORDER OR PROVIDE REFUND

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this was honestly a very disappointing experience.

I placed an international order after seeing a stated dispatch timeframe of 1–3 working days and delivery estimate of 6–9 business days. However, my order was not dispatched until 5 days later and only arrived a month after ordering.

Communication was inconsistent throughout, including being addressed by the wrong name multiple times. I requested cancellation due to the delays while the parcel was still in transit, but this was refused. I then had to arrange a return myself and am still waiting for my refund nearly a month later again.

After the long delivery delay, difficult returns process, and ongoing refund issues, the overall experience has unfortunately been very unpleasant and stressful.

Really disappointed, especially as I was excited to order from this brand- I WOULD NOT RECCOMEND to order directly from this brand, if you really want the clothes maybe shop them in Revolve
