Very dissatisfied

Very dissatisfied, purchase an item for almost £50 in early November when it was in stock, this was for a Christmas gift, unfortunately another family member purchased an identical gift from Lidl. When I tried to return the item I was told that I could not as I had purchased it more than 30 days prior. There is no information that I have seen stating a 30 day rule, not even on the receipt!! And especially in the run up to Christmas I would expect an extended return period like other stores offer. Very disappointing will be avoiding buyer anything expensive from Lidl in future.

Completely avoid at all costs!!

Completely avoid at all costs.
Ordered a christmas present that said it would arrive in time for christmas (17th-19th December was the estimated delivery date). I have been in contact with them daily for a week as my parcel tracking wasn't updated, and was told my parcel would be delivered by 30th December latest, confirmed that my parcel was going through the system. Only to be told TWO days before christmas that they have lost my parcel and my refund wont come through until after christmas.. meaning that someone is going empty handed this christmas morning. Completely unacceptable, messed around the entire time by their useless customer support. avoid using this company by any means - they are very quick to make promises and take your money but will not follow through on those or give you your money back in any rush.

Would give 0 stars if that was an option.

Another great experience with Lids

Another great experience with Lids.
My nike Razorbacks slippers and new era hat came very promptly just as did my Nike & new era Chicago Bears gear times before that. Plus when I did have slight issue they refunded me right away no problems.

One item had a reduced price tag on the…

One item had a reduced price tag on the bottom and as it’s there they need to honour it

Alfie the manager just wasn’t interested despite they admitting it’s their fault

It was in Thurrock lakeside
I will not be going there again. Maybe sapending £88 wasn’t good enough for a great service.

Very poor staff. If you buy online and you call them very rude staff you will not buy ever again very poor all they do is fob you off

Top customer service

We went into the store to find a kids Bulls cap. We struggled to begin with but one of the store’s staff, Jason, went the extra mile, checking each row to find the one cap left. Extremely Polite and helpful. He was super.

We loved the embroidery service too. Will definitely visit again. Highly recommend !!

Borough store

Borough store. Untrained staff. Didn’t know how to properly use the embroidery machine or intentionally pretended to not care. It was clear the system had a huge selection of fonts to select from. Instead he suggested I should send the logo to headquarters.

Was planning to place a small order of a dozen custom caps.

Avoid If You Can

They say on their website: "All return charges are the customer's liability." What they dont say is that the returns costs are extortionate. It would have cost me a minimum £6.20 to return a £15 product that was really not fit for purpose and not as described on their website. In the end will give it to a charity shop. Will avoid shopping there again. Sorted.

I went to Camden Town, Lids. Impressed.

I went to Camden Town, London store over Two consecutive Days.
Having the pleasure to interact with Alex, on both occasions, he was professional.
The more I spoke to him, his pose shone.
What a wonderful Retail experience.
Spending £100.00 over 2 days , Wonderful caps added to my collection.

Blackpool Store

Myself and a couple of colleagues visited the Houndshill Blackpool branch after a work convention, we were served by the most down to earth, friendly and professional assistant that we could have asked for. He spent plenty of time answering all of our queries and couldn't of made the whole process easier from deciding on hats to giving tips on what would and wouldn't work well for the custom embroidery.

Thank you to the (only) guy in store today, you've gained a few new customers for the company! Keep doing what you're doing, customer service at its finest.

Shocking company do not touch

I ordered a NFL shirt on 20/09/2023 with a promised delivery by 24/09/2023 at the latest as I wanted the shirt for the game on 1/10/2023. I was then given a new date 03/10/2023 for delivery and that day is here and still no shirt.
Do not ever buy anything from this company if you actually want the product to arrive!!!

I went to lids at the O2 to buy some…

I went to lids at the O2 to buy some hats. I was served by a dude called Nilrem. He took down my personification design for two hats and asked if I could come back before 6pm. When I arrived my designs wasn’t ready since the machine was acting up. I told him that I was watching a movie at 6 at the O2 and wouldn’t need able to come back since the store closes at 8. So he asked if he could come to bring it to Cineworld when it was ready. I was so thankful that he was able to do that don’t think much store assistant would suggest that option. So thanks Lids O2 for having Nilrem as a valuable member of your team

UNACCEPTABLE

If there was an option to not even star this I would do 0 stars. I paid for shipping to buy a hat and wanted to return it because it was too big and they charged me £6 I was charged £11 unfairly for shipping unacceptable this has never happened to me before.

I’d give this company no stars…

I’d give this company no stars if it were possible. My husband was given a gift by a friend who bought it from a store nowhere near where we live and we took it to our local store to ask for an exchange. We got fed some major BS about how it has to be taken back to the store it was bought from. Oh and they don’t do gift cards/exchange credit vouchers. What sort of policy is this when the money item is a gift for non-family? We think that Lids UK is possibly the worst store we’ve ever dealt with and will never purchase anything from them as their store staff are disrespectful and rude. I personally think there needs to be staff retraining on how to deal with people!

RACIST/Bad customer service LIDS Colchester.

I entered the store to purchase Christmas presents. The female was not accommodating, shaking her head in response to questions, rude in tone and mannerisms. The lackadaisical behaviour was so evident I took all the money I brought to purchse my husband and son gifts, back home. All £250. She is definitely Lady Hussy from the Royal Household. The guy was much better. (Customer rep. is white, curly hair. short shaved sides.)
