I paid the increase in my rent 5 months ago. Leaders lost the payment and despite proof of payment they have threatened me with legal action and eviction ever since.. After many months of intimidation I contacted the ombudsman and suddenly they found the payment. They said they have located it for ME.
They told me they didn't have time to look at their inbox, too much backlog so all my replies ignored.
Terrible company

Worst estate agent i have dealt with. All issues addressed to them are not rectified. If one person goes to annual leave thats it you have to wait until their return and restart a query which never goes unsolved nomatter the urgency

Leaders managed my rental property extremely well. Scarlet who managed the property was professional, responsive and supportive. I was always informed of issues promptly and she followed up quickly and reliably on my requests. Highly recommended!

Leaders in Worthing is a very efficient agency. Susie is excellent with dealing with changes of tenancy and legal issues in general. As a Landlord I am kept well informed about any problems or changes of law as soon as possible. I have used them for many years and now my son, an ex-pat, is also receiving excellent fully managed service.
Terrible experience from moving in to the way they treat you as a tenant.
I was nearly homeless on my move in date, apparently the cleaners were running late but it actually turned out the landlord hadn’t signed. when I moved in, there was no signs that any cleaner had been there.
I was lied to about the condition of the property, which has mold and dampness issues.
I have cleaned this all myself and now I failed to pay this non deposit subscription for 2 months and I’m getting threatening emails. It’s literally £56 and you’re going to threaten to evict me?
I’ve responded to those emails and then been ignored and sent more emails. Having read other reviews, this appears to be the norm.
When my initial tenancy was up I got told I had to pay 6 months up front to renew. I responded to this immediately, worrying again about being homeless. A few weeks later, a response was received and it turns out it was a typo or wrong template used.
Extremely dissatisfied and disappointed with every aspect of the service. I’m desperately looking to speak to someone who actually cares rather than sending template threatening responses out.
After speaking with local residents, it seems this NDO option is a way of removing protection for the tenant. It was also missold as I was told it was cheaper this way but now I’m paying it every month and I’ve just been informed that money isn’t even used towards any issues when you move out.
It would be interesting to know if commission was earned here.

I have been with leaders in Worthing for many many years the sales team are always very helpful the lettings team are thorough with Suzi’s always trying to get the right tenants to suit the property.
The person I have the most contact with is Adam Mcilwaine property management who is absolutely outstanding and goes above and beyond to make sure all properties run smoothly so I don’t have to worry about them , anything that comes up he always suggests the right way to handle the situation and has never let me yet thank you Adam.
Thank you everyone in Worthing

A couple of years ago, I decided that Leaders could let both my flats on a fully managed basis. It was a good decision; Leaders now keep me up to date with all government guidelines. When any problem occurs in a flat, Rebecca Eager, my property manager, always informs me swiftly and recommends how to deal with it. Then, with my permission, she goes ahead and sorts it out at very competitive rates. I couldn't ask for better service

Absolutely great. Me and my partner are first time renters, and they made it so easy. Our consultant was Owen Smith at the Worthing branch and he was so good, he replied to our emails really quickly and was just a really friendly personable guy to help us through. If I could I would give 10 stars.

As a landlord I rely on Leaders to find me suitable tenants. Susie Wright at their Worthing office provided just the service I need, with attention to detail and a thorough understanding of the business requirements

Lovely estate Agent Sam showed us around a property and was personable and knowledgeable without being too pushy. A great representative of the business.

The Property Management and Lettings staff were very helpful and professional in finding a new tenant for my studio flat. However, even as a long standing landlord with Leaders, I did not realise that the so called Set Up Fee had increased by more than 100% which I felt was unjustified..

-Rented a house for long term when I was pregnant and after 6 months the landlord wanted to sell the house and we needed to move with a little baby... didn't have enough time to move and was a very big stress
-today they left a message that tomorrow
they will do the gas safety check so very short notice.
-we live here about 2 years and they sent an email about we need to pay holding deposit.... by mistake
I am not happy with them .

I rented through Leaders for a number of years and have found the service awful. The no deposit option is a scam and in no way protects you as a tenant and is geared towards the landlord. I had maintenance issues that weren't dealt with properly, a lack of response to emails and found myself living in a property with black mould for 18 months.

Just wanted to write a little note about My property Manager Julie Westbrook in the Worthing office
Just to Say thank you for all your hard work And being so efficient in all you do.
Julie Westbrook in the Worthing office.
In all my dealings, Julie has been very approachable and efficient.
Thank you
One of the worst experiences I would like to share .
We live in Nottingham.
We agreed to let in into the property on 23 February.
But on that day, the agent gave some reasons for transfering key and we waited in the train station for about 4 hours .
While collecting the key, the agent did not show how to operate the utilities. In addition we need to collect the key at their office .
The very worst thing happened after letting into the property was that the gas line was cut off .
This agent never handover about this and did not take any responsibility.
We need to wait for nearly three to 4 days in order to use heater or oven.
We have rented my mother's house with Leaders for a number of years we have been extremely happy with the property management, our manager Adam has always been professional and manged all the problems to a high standard often going beyond what could have been expected, I have no hesitation in recommending them to any future clients, the house has now been sold due to probate
