Will Graham...excellent service

As a landlord, Leaders have represented me for the last 19 years.
I have found them very helpful finding tenants, vetting potential applicants and providing contracts when necessary.
Most recently Will, in particular, has helped find tenants, negotiated issues and communicated to v high standard.
I would not hesitate to recommend their services in the rental market.

AVOID

This was my first and definitely last experience using a letting agency to find tenants. The agency placed a drug dealer in my property who went on to set up a cannabis farm, leaving the house completely destroyed and me with tens of thousands of pounds in repair bills just to make it liveable again.
Throughout the tenancy, communication from the agency was appalling. I had to call for days on end, as messages left with the receptionist were never passed on. When I raised concerns about missing rental payments, I was assured that the rent was being paid to them and that they would speak to the tenant to ensure payments were made directly to me, as stated in the contract. I was later told after waiting weeks for this rent to be transferred to me that no rent had ever been received — leaving me without any rental income and with a property in ruins.
When my insurance company investigated, they confirmed that the agency’s vetting process was entirely inadequate and even questioned whether the agency had been benefiting financially from allowing such a tenant in, since they were the only party who gained anything from the arrangement.
If you value your property, your time, and your peace of mind, avoid this agency completely. They are negligent, unprofessional, and their lack of due diligence has caused immense financial and emotional stress.

As a landlord of a property managed by…

As a landlord of a property managed by the Leaders branch in Stroud for two years, the service has been appalling.

Zero internal communication and record-keeping. Emails and phone calls unanswered for days.

In once recent case of an emergency leak, the Stroud branch was entirely unresponsive, meaning I had to deal with the issue myself from over 200 miles away.
