Amazing experience, lovely and friendly staff.

I am a tenant of Bruce McAllister, my flat is managed by leaders,
I have found leaders to be pro-active, friendly and professional, and really helpful, especially the maintenance team (Tricia and co)
I would also like to add that landlords get a rough time especially during this current climate, I have lived in my flat for 5 and a half years, my previous landlord was just awful, I couldn’t ever get hold of him and my flat was riddled with mould and was affecting my children’s health, Bruce bought my flat and within 6 months had replaced all my doors and windows and countless other issues I have had, he is proactive and understanding and really genuinely cares about his tenants.
Thank you for making a single mum’s life much easier and taken away major stress levels from me, I wish all landlords were like you.

Enquired on a property, after 4 emails & no response the property went offline. A week later it came back, so emailed again. This time i got a reply the following day, after 3 somewhat negative emails from them, in fact nothing at all was positive in any way. I requested to view that same day. And havent heard a single thing since that email which was 4 days ago. Such a negative experience, if they were to get in touch over the property I would actually decline it, even though would really like it, but is nothing that is going to persuade me into making any commitments with this agency. I had been told of this previously and didnt pay to much attention, when I certainly now know it to be true.

We received a good service from Crawley Leaders team, the team was so caring and helpful when assistant was needed.

I am looking for a house in Crawley to be close to my daughter, who lives in Broadfield. It because my husband had a stroke and I need help to look after him sometimes. I found a house 0,3 mile far to her house published by Leaders Crawley. I told to gentleman who I called that we are receiving benefits for my husband's health conditions. I have a letter of references from the current landlady. I'll go back to work when I move to Crawley. Also, my son finishes his course at University at the end of July and will be working soon. Leaders's agent told me to contact him again WHEN MY SON WAS WORKING. This house and others in the conditions I'm looking for are lowering the rent in Leaders, BUT I CAN'T HAVE THEM.
VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS DESCRIMINATION

I appointed Leaders to sell my mothers house. The sales person was friendly and efficient. After I negotiated the fee down to market norms (1%, not 1.25%) he said we needed to obtain money laundering compliance and directed us to 'Lifetime Legal' as their 'preferred partner', for an additional fee. Other Estate Agent include this in their fee. Lifetime Legal followed up with a call to do checks, but there was strong pressure from them to take their conveyancing service, and pay there and then, and to become a 'member of 'Lifetime Legal' for an additional fee (see me Lifetime Legal review). I was very concerned about this pressure, and I refused these add on services. phoned my Leaders sales person to inform about the bad service I'd received. He then (though only after pushing) admitted that Leaders and Lifetime Legal are formally linked. I was angry at being misled by being pushed into a process that would apply such pressure and terminated the agreement immediately. Lack of integrity, transparency and openness.

Leaders have been great In helping arrange our new rental property. Courtney is brill, from start to finish we have been kept well informed of our options and guided us through the process. Thanks!

I have a fairly large portfolio in Crawley, and the team manage my properties from initial rental enquiries, to managing tenants over the long term. Have been with Leaders for over 23 years, and have only been delighted!

Disgusting company, from start to finish and still on going problems, was let a house that was not fit for purpose and shouldn’t of been let , agents words! Black mould everywhere, walls so damp they were wet half way up, filthy worn carpets, constant problems to the point of three pages full of problems .After 18 weeks of at least two trades a week coming in and half refusing to do the works as so much! I’d had enough. From flooding toilets and blocked drains we had to clear, broken steps which I twisted my ankle on, a bath unusable, windows that didn’t open properly so no fire escape, massive hole in bathroom window u could put your hand through, shower pump didn’t work, boiler been reported as dangerous and needed replacing but nothing ever done about it, aga nearly went up as had been messed around with, to name a few things It has made me ill through the stress and the black mould spores on my lungs, to add insult to injury they are still going after having moved out over two months ago asking us to pay to clean the threadbare carpets ( even though we had as they were black with dirt) and they’ve been thrown out since! To pay to have the walls redecorated even though have all the evidence of the mould and damp. Seriously appalled by our treatment whilst renting through them and still now too, the stress has beyond and made me very Ill. We’ve been lied too along the way and literally no support from the agents at all and

I am now renting my property with their help. Professional, friendly and honest service. Just what you need when the world of letting property is new to you. Would recommend their services to anyone.

I was from 31 of July 2021 with Leaders Crawley my experience is the worst .They gave me an unchecked property with too many issues .On the top off it I have to send every day emails for the problems ....until now only the half have been fixed .I had problem with my payments also .Me and my partner we are having standing orders from 2 banks for the rent and we are receiving messages that we didn't pay the rent and we have to send bank statements to prove that we have paid the rent ....Ruddy is polite and kind when you speak with him but the result of his actions is inadequate. Until I left the property still there was a spike of rodents that too many others issues unresolved . The Crawley branch is the worst they don't care about the tenants .I have made 2 official complaints at Leaders and a complaint at Crawley Borough .The issues haven't been fixed even in the August that I have left . They have left us all winter without heating and many more .Avoid avoid avoid .
