Provided my payslips numerous times which they refused to acknowledge, apprently that wasnt enough info for them so they wanted to be even more invasive and request access to my HMRC records. They really twist your arm for no good reason.

You say you don't need to use bank for verification... then prompt for bank info and make skipping difficult.
You say you don't want income details from HMRC.... then ask HMRC to grant you main agent rights and details with income info.
How about you do what you say and say what you do?
Intrusive and completely unprofessional way of doing a background check for employment history when you can just check references.

Went to use the service and the system was under maintenance, very intrusive and an aggressive form of conducting referencing. Sensitive information and no clear evidence of safety, GDPR regulations or private security.
Definitely not comfortable here. This screams loudly that they don’t trust your information prior to this check. Avoid

It was good but Abit of issues in the survey but other then that went smoothly and was pretty good I just reckomend in the future maybe show them how to log in there account cause we had to do go on Google and sign in then we could do it but luckily I did that and thought of it but maybe people would not cause it said failed to connect and it will take pretty long to do it maybe a day maybe 2 maybe even a week and this is important so they have to do it
