Klavyio is a small piece of .... they let you make all the set up and when they see that you don't upgrade their plan they block you account.

Lists auto expire and bumps you to a higher plan
Very disappointed. I am actually thinking of cancelling this service because of this. I created a list to suppress profiles so that we can stay in the lower profile account, since their plans are based on how many active profiles you have. The lists will sometimes expire randomly and auto bump you to a much higher plan and charge your card immediately. This is very frustrating and I have to get on with support in order to try and get a refund. They really need to do something about this.
Out of Control Dynamic Pricing Tiers
Klaviyo’s pricing policy is unethical and exploitative, profiting off bots and spammers by inflating active profiles, leading to outrageous overcharges. Literally, a $20/month subscription can turn into over $500/mo within days thanks to their scammy dynamic pricing tiers. Yes, each bot visiting your site WILL create an active profile in Klaviyo, with or without event tracking from your website and Klaviyo WILL bump you up pricing tiers without your consent. When confronted, they refuse to acknowledge or address customer concerns. They happily treat customers like cattle, milking them for profit without accountability or remorse. Avoid Klaviyo at all costs!!

We dit not authorize these and we do not use your services.
I filed chargebacks allready

Do not ask me for usernames and that kind of stuff. I do not know a username because I do not want to be your client.

Klaviyo will not stop spamming my phone with sales calls, despite asking to be removed from their list and put on a do not contact list.
I've had to block 3-4 different sales employees from calling me non-stop monday through friday.
It's getting ridiculous.
Klaviyo works well...
Had some issues relating to billing but these were resolved by Tom in support.
Overall it's a good service - our only gripe with Klaviyo and the reason for not being 5 stars is it is way too expensive so we have to constantly adjust and reduce our subscriber levels so we can actually afford the service and therefore do not see full benefit.

I wanted access to the Advanced KDP features to integrate their webhooks into out system for out customers.
I asked support explicitely if subscribing to a basic plan and starting a specific free trial would grant me access top the webhooks. The support confirmed and I subscribed.

Scam Upgrade to $3300!
I’ve been with Klaviyo 5 years. We were paying $625/month. Today we received a bill for $2765 AND $625! When I got ahold of their online support chat they said that we have 400,000+ active profiles which is simply NOT true. We did not change anything and all those profiles were inactive. They are trying to scam us by somehow making all those profiles active which we did NOT do on our end! Trying to deal with their support team now, this is a scam!
Horribly deceptive
Horribly deceptive. I tried out their new review feature and just during the demo it sent reviews. No preview, no setup, no branding.
ZERO customer support was available. I will not be using them anymore.

Klaviyo is not trustworthy, they steel data
If you want to rely on your emails and automations, please don't use Klaviyo. There are many other alternatives.
They suspended my account without any notice. Not even an email saying that my account is disabled. I had to find out when I received a Zapier alert.
They are very vague about it and the worst part of all they delete all your data and profiles. I reached out to them on support and email but no reply so far regarding my data. I would have understand it if they suspend your account, but the fact that they steel your data and won't let you export it is a crime in my opinion. I will wait a couple of days before I take legal steps.
Ps Klaviyo. My account on Trustpilot is not the same as I have with you, so don't dispute this review saying it's not based on a genuine experience. I do have an account with you guys so it is my own genuine experience.

Poor pre-sale and got scammed
I was trying to see what automations this company offers - no information. Requested a demo, got an email to create an account, did that thinking it will be my demo, but no, I got trapped into creating a live account where I have to link my website and everything.
Went to the chat, it was Ai bot and real support is available only for accounts who pay for the service. So, how am I supposed to understand what this company offers before I buy it??? Feels like a scammer agency, no pre-sale support what so ever, lots of information, which does not offer enough info.
edit: Was just reading the reviews and it is scary. Gives me an impression of poorly organised company, when they only take action after a review has been left.
Thank you Truspilot for helping me not to choose this company.

Don't bother, you'll loose money and won't get any support
Don't know what happend but the last months there after sales services is totally ZERO. No help with bugs, no solutions, you have to repeat the problem several times, and you have someone on the other side that seems to not really understand what I'm saying or explaining, etc. What a waste of time.
We also got upgraded to another price but they keep changing their prices.
They used to be excellent but clearly not the case anymore. We're leaving.
