Great experience
I have visited Palmerston North JB hi-fi and Westfield Mall in Lower Hutt in the last week. I have had super service from 2 young dynamic woman. They knew the product capabilities were friendly,respectful and helpful. Georgie in Lower Hutt was very helpful with a refund and tried to get us some good sale prices. It was a great experience shopping there.
Helpful service and advice
I was served by a team member who had just started and they were really helpful. I purchased a clearance TV where there was only one left and they tracked it down and then offered to have it sent to me. Good luck with the job mate
Save yourself some hassle and order from Apple.

Pre-ordered a game that was launching on Thursday (the website says they aim to ship it before launch so it arrives on release day). Thursday rolls around and it hasn't even been packed yet. I send a message asking for them to cancel the order because they've missed launch day. Friday at 130pm I get a message saying they've packed it and it'll arrive in up to 10 days. It's the last weekend of the school holidays and my kids have been waiting months for this game...super disappointing. Ended up buying it digitally so they didn't miss out. Wouldn't recommend them at all.

As soon as we walked in the door,a beautiful helpfull female staff member assisted me and my partner straight away..asked all the rite questions we were instantly pleased with the customer care a service to us ☺️ leading us straight the product we were looking for and she also went to another staff member to help to make sure we new the difference between two diff products..they were all so polite and welcoming I was only in the store for about 10 mins then I was out with my product and a happier person because of the awesome service y'all rock "HASTINGS"!!!🫰🔥🔥

The Hastings store, had amazing customer service from when both my partner and I walked in the door. We were looking for a Firestick and our expectations were exceeded by all staff that handled us as customers and right through to our purchase... All product details were clearly communicated to us both... It was a pleasure to be looked after the way we were Thank you Jb-Hi-Fi Hastings Staff!!
Ordered Chromebook online for school
Ordered Chromebook online for school, over a month later still waiting, no offer of overnight delivery so my child can finally have what I paid for and do school work. Contact online support only to be told they have to contact store..... should be able to find one in their many stores to send out overnight with apologies for long delay

Ordered an item online. Two days later, an email stating that the item wouldn’t be shipped for two weeks. I replied to them asking why they hadn’t told me it wasn’t in stock. Reply back was they stated on the website that it wasn't available. Don’t order online from them, or go into the store and get it in person.

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience using JB Hi Fi’s phone trade in service.
I sent in an iPhone 12 Pro Max that was well kept and not damaged when it left my possession. During assessment, JB Hi Fi claimed the phone had a cracked screen and reduced the trade in value significantly. I disputed this immediately as the damage was not present when the phone was sent.
JB Hi-Fi provided inspection photos as evidence, however these images showed fresh dust particles around the cracked area, which strongly suggests the damage occurred recently and after the device left my possession. This concern was raised but never addressed.
Over several months of back and forth, the assessment was repeatedly “reviewed” with the same outcome while the core issue how and when the damage occurred while the phone was in their possession was ignored.
A major red flag for me was that funds were taken without my permission while the assessment was still under dispute. I did not understand why any money was processed before the matter was resolved.
I do not believe this situation has been handled fairly or in line with consumer protections.
I’m sharing this so others are aware of the risks involved and can make an informed decision before using JB Hi-Fi’s trade-in service.
Absolutely guttered & have no trust in JB what so ever. Was always a loyal customer.

JB Hi-Fi in Albany Is Awesome
JB Hi-Fi in Albany, Auckland has awesome service. Never had an issue with them. I'm busy with an issue with a product that is the manufacturer's fault, Jb Hi-Fi Albany understood my problem and gave me full refund even though it wasn't their issue. Where other people weren't will to resolve my problem, JB in Albany did without a second thought.
Pre ordered a Blu-ray November 30
Pre ordered a Blu-ray November 30. In my email it says we will send early for targeted release date 10 December today is December 13 and I still haven't received a tracking number. Poor service no reply to my email. Yet they still took the payment out this will the last time I buy from jb online as this is the 4th time this has happened this year. Now they are aaying its on backorder, You would think that if someone pre orders something they would make sure they have the stock. Absolutely Poor service.
