Paid upfront for a website and was sent a generic template. Then pushed to pay more for a “better” version, which I agreed to and paid again.

I then requested a refund under their advertised money-back guarantee. From that point on, I was ignored. Multiple emails were sent with no proper response, just repeated promises that someone would call me, which never happened.

When I finally did receive a call, I was told the refund would be processed the following week. It never was.

They also claim to have an office in Canada. I called to try and resolve the issue, but the call was abruptly ended and I was unable to reach them again. The same individuals appear to be handling both the "UK"! and "Canada"! contacts.

I sent Letters Before Action to both their London and Liverpool addresses, both were returned as undeliverable. I have also reported their registered address to Companies House as it appears to be false.

I have now initiated a Small Claims Court claim.

Avoid this company.

I will add my review again…. And will keep doing so till they stop getting removed (how?) or i get a refund. This company says it’s in Liverpool! No offices there at all. Call from local number. But it’s just mobile to landline number. Took my money couldn’t build my website months and months still no site no refund either…. They are a Joke! We have all clubbed together so far 18 of us we will be suing you for our money back and hopefully close your business all you’re doing is robbing people. 

Found Instant Web Makers to he the right choice for our website. Oliver and the team are professional and experienced. The team are on hand to walk you through any queries and explanations required. There is some upsell elements however, if you stick with what you have agreed then all is fine. Would recommend.

Paid upfront in November for a web package with 100% satisfaction and 100% money back guarantee. Over six months on, website still not ready. Worse, they used plagiarised source codes and fabricated an error message saying my hosting service is not good enough and requested an upgrade to theirs, i.e. more payment. But my server log record shows no login from them. In fact I had forgotten to activate the access.

They refused to make a full refund.

Customers of Instant Web Makers or similar services - whether you are happy or not, check the source codes of your website. Mine was from a company in Minnesota. Google can detect plagiarism in source codes and it will derail your SEO plan.

The people that I have spoken to at Instant Web Makers – Kevin Ashton, Oliver Ross, Steven Hall and James something maybe Anderson – they all speak with a South Asian accent. Ask to speak to them directly not just relying on email and whatsapp communications before making any payment.
