Surprise heavy customs clearance amount
Excellent collection and prompt delivery. I had some issues placing the order, but the sales team resolved it quickly. The bag cost $1,322 with $50 for shipping; however, I was surprised by an additional $206 charged by DHL for customs clearance, which took away from the overall deal. That said, it’s a bag I really love and it arrived beautifully packed.

Unfortunately, we have no control over customs duties or import taxes. These charges are determined and imposed by the destination country and can vary depending on several factors.
We always do our best to inform our customers that these costs are not included in the checkout total. However, unfortunately, we are not able to predict the exact amount that DHL will calculate upon delivery.

The store has nice brand and a good selection. I ordered a shirt and within two days it was at my door in the Netherlands. The downside is the high shipping fee, €30. I would rate my experience with 5 stars if a less expensive shipping method was offered.
Other than that the packaging looked nice and it was packed neatly.

Unfortunately, shipping costs are quite high for us. The standard shipping fee we ask our customers to pay is generally only a partial contribution compared to the actual cost we incur.
In addition, we use an express shipping service: within Europe, parcels are usually delivered within 1–2 days.
That said, we truly appreciate your suggestion and we will take into consideration the possibility of offering customers an alternative option, such as a slower but more economical shipping method in the future.

First time shopping on IL Duomo
First time shopping on IL Duomo. I was skeptical about the customs fees not being included in the total, but I could not pass on the Givenchy shorts at the price offered here. I figured even if the fees were $100, I still would come out on top. A few days later, I received a text message from DHL: I needed to pay customs fees of $63. I was elated. As mentioned before, this was my very first time shopping here; therefore, I am unfamiliar with how the returns process may be, etc., but I will definitely shop here again.
