iready is so bad now

i honestly hate this new update cause the last time i even loved this hell was where i can play games during the almost 2nd most stressful time of my life and they just had to rip it down for a XP system that gives you noting but profile pictures and useless backgrounds and a breathing exercise that NO ONE in my whole class EVER use for their whole diagnostic a complete failure of an already failing learning tool

BAN. IT. NOW!

This website is sweeping through classrooms in a BAD WAY! The diagnostic is boring, long, and TERRIBLE AT ITS ONLY PURPOSE, which is to segregate students at a certain level of academic challenge. The lessons are even worse. The math is mind-crushing because they take a long ahh time to finish. I am a gifted student at math, but it takes me 45 MINUTES TO FINISH A LESSON! Think about that! A gifted student struggling to finish a lesson. One of my peers had to go into mental therapy, and many others who wouldn't cry if you held a machete to their throats are now SOBBING! Another student broke his computer after repeatedly failing a lesson that was too hard because THE DIAGNOSTIC RANKED HIM TOO HIGH! Also, it treats you like a baby. For example, here is direct dialogue: "Aw, yeah! It's practice time!Collect all three stars!" WHO SPEAKS TO YOU LIKE THAT?! Currently, th website is confined to reading and math, but if it branches out to science, social studies, and even foreign languages, IT WILL WRECK THE STUDENTS. The TEACHERS DONT EVEN CARE! This is a legitimate review with no exaggerations.

Useless bs

I’m in eighth grade. I generally don’t know what this program is supposed to do because I’ve never learned anything and I’ve done it since kindergarten. All it is is grueling hours of unnecessarily long lessons. I don’t even know why I have to use it cause I’m in all honors classes so I’m not even learning lessons my level. Even thinking of doing a lesson is torture. The diagnostic tells you that you should expect to get around half the questions wrong but if you get too low, it’s your fault cause you were “rushing”.

WASTE OF SPACE IN THE INTERNET AND MY LIFE!!

This app is not even learning, they will test you? More like test your patience, because the lessons is a waste of my life span and space, and even more time consuming when you have to do it again, and plus they remove the fun game when there is a break at the diagnostic but they think is a good idea by replacing it with boring breathing exercise and when that break show up, I will just switch to a different tap and play games instill it ends and back to work.

iReady LIES TO US AND WASTES OUR TIME

I am in a 4/5 split class and my math teacher gave us our diagnostic results and she said if 4th graders getto a 3rd grade level that is fine (this was at the beginning of the year) And my mom lectured me about it when she saw my score i tried explaining to her what my math teacher said but she still didn't listen another experience i had was in 3rd grade when our teacher said if we get a lower score then we got before on the diagnostic we had to retake it and when i saw my score i was panicking because it was a little bit lower than before so iwent to my teacher and showed me my score it was higher than iReady showed my like WHAT?! So now the system is just lying to me and i have learned NOTHING From it and most of the math things i learned was from my math teacher and once i had a geometry lesson in iReady and i failed it 2 times they didn't tell me what i did wrong it just was like "Hey you got this lesson wrong but we're not gonna tell you what!" the WHOLE Point of teachers it to TEACH and tell you what you did wrong and guide you through it but iReadt does NONE OF THAT and in our class we have to get 45 minutes of iReadt in ONE DAY and we have a bunch of other work we need to do on that day so its just getting rid of that time to do USELESS BORING TIME CONSUMING LESSONS!!! It takes like 30 minutes just to do 1 LESSON so overall iReady is a time consuming, boring, stressful experience do not recommend

This ruins kids skills.

I-Ready was a platform that I used to use when I was younger, and I have to say even now, it sucks. These lessons in the platform don't even help you learn anything, and don't even get me started on the diagnostic. This diagnostic had never even helped me at all and never put me in the correct groups for my grade and they took so long to do. For one of my friends, bless their sanity, it took them 3 hours to do. And I have cried in the middle of the night, trying to do my homework because it was just so frustrating for me. I hope you guys fix this app, because if you don't, this'll be the end of kids' sanity.

A Missed Opportunity for Learning

Title: Disappointing Experience - Not Suitable for Learning
Rating: 1/5
I'm extremely disappointed with this app. Instead of teaching, it seems to be more about tutoring, which doesn't align with my expectations. The games are unengaging and fail to capture my child's interest. The math lessons are outdated and don't reflect what's currently being taught in the classroom, making them irrelevant. Overall, the app's approach to learning is flawed, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Whoever developed this app clearly missed the mark, and I think significant changes are needed to make it worthwhile.
