Sold us a broken minisplit. It was damaged during shipping - they told us it was only cosmetic damage, to keep installing it. Then during the installation by a licensed electrician, the electrician said the part looked used and the connectors were warped. We contacted HVACdirect.com again and they said no, it was a new unit. It was missing bolts - they said that happens. It never turned on. The electrician (who has installed 2 other minisplits for us at various properties) verified that it had power running to it; that the machine was broken. We reported this to the company and they said there was nothing they could do -- at most they might replace the broken part if a HVAC diagnostician came out and determined what part was broken. They refused to pay for any installation fees, or to replace the item.

Ordered a 12000 btu mini split. Later found out they sold out. Amanda offered me same brand, a slightly larger unit at same price. It was delivered on time in perfect condition. Directions were great and we started it up today. cools great.

I received the wrong heater after double checking it was the right one... I kept emailing to figure out when the replacement would arrive and couldn't get a straight answer. I received it on Friday (luckily I had somebody home to unload it) and the bottom is all dented. I already had to return once so I will straighten it out and use it because I can't fathom dealing with replacing it yet again. Probably more on the lines of shipping then the company entirely, and to the companies credit they did take the old one back and resolved my issue, I just never knew when I would receive the new one.

Overall, triple check its the right product and check to make sure the item isn't damaged as soon as it arrives (if you know when that is). I am hoping I have better luck installing then I did receiving!

Extraordinarily helpful, knowledgeable, and responsive staff. It's amazing knowing that a live person will answer a customer service call without having to go through a hassle of button pushing or being on hold. Part of my order included a 50 line which was missing from order. Turns out it was out of stock, so (2) 25ft lines with couplers were immediately sent in lieu of, which I'm fine with. I would certainly buy from HVAC direct again, and I tell everyone I know that this is the go to company to deal with. I'm more than happy with my order. Thank you guys, and keep up the good work.

Best customer service! Starting with the customer service agent, Christina, who transferred me to Nick the Sales Person. I have never purchased a mini split and Nick was so helpful, and honest, giving me choices, his recommendation, but not pushing my decision. I'm very satisfied with the price quoted as well. I recommend this company and will purchase from them again.

No matter what product you sell, it’s the employees that really seal the deal. When you have an issue and have called twice to get it corrected and you feel like the 20 minutes on the phone was a waste of time and you finally get someone who sincerely cares and gets it corrected and then follows up to ensure you are happy.

I had ordered a Trane AC unit and after a week I received an Email that they don’t have that AC and someone will contact me. I replied to that Email that I was not happy. Isiah was able to locate one at the manufacturer and have them ship it to me directly. Thank you Isiah!
